New item idea, Scoundrel’s Shield Blade.

===Scoundrel’s Shield Blade=== Cost: item 3044 + item 3052 + 550 gold = 3000 gold total. +30 attack damage +500 health **UNIQUE – Rage: **Basic attacks (on-hit) grant +20 flat movement speed for 2 seconds. Killing a Unit grants +60 flat movement speed instead. UNIQUE – Hit and run:_ (Melee only)_ basic attacking an enemy champion will mark them, 30 second cooldown. Moving far enough away from a marked enemy will consume the mark to shield you for 5 seconds, or until you stop moving away from them. The shield’s strength increases from 60 (+20 per level) to 240 (+80 per level) based on how long the enemy remained marked, with the max shield achieved after 3 seconds.


The idea here is an item that gives melee types with little disengage a way to go for short trades without having to commit to an all in. It would be especially good in melee vs ranged match ups, as it would protect you from harass as you walk away from a trade that you would have otherwise won if your opponent wasn't capable of pelting you with free auto attacks while you leave.

This makes people like Renekton or Poppy really, REALLY annoying.

Especially renekton: vs almost any other melee top, his combo leaves very little room for counterplay. He already goes in, rips up half your life, heals any damage you may have inflicted and E's back out. This item means he wouldn't even NEED his heal to trade better than you, and he's be gaining back any amount of life you may have taken with no repercussions.

But that's only in laning phase...late game, this item would be sold for something that simply gave better stats.
