Vuldomi- The Dread Qeen Primary: Fighter / Secondary: Assassin ** After looking through champion themes, I noticed what we're missing is a female champion from Zaun and a corrupted Demacian. I decided to try the corrupted Demacian theme.**

Out of all of Demacia's most revered heroes, few have a past as troublesome as Vuldomi's. Once a noble knight devoted to keeping peace and prosperity in her utopian kingdom of Demacia, this very allegiance lead her astray on a path of corruption and truculence. Now she's feared by the one's who once stood beside her as their savior, and is nothing more but a silhouette of her former self. With her hellish alter ego and sheer hatred, she cuts through the teeming veins of her adversaries, leaving nothing but mutilated victims and fearful souls in her wake.

Vuldomi's fall from grace began when she was sent to recover an ancient sword that was being sought by Noxian assassins. The sword was thought to belong to that of a malicious spirit, forever contained inside its luxurious steel design for eternity. When her, her sister Savara, and her men arrived at the temple, they saw not a legion of Noxian soldiers, but limitless blood and gore. After searching through the bloody carnage at the temple for what seemed like hours, they finally found the blade surrounded by the dead Noxian assassins sent to recover it. Confusingly enough, the blade itself had zero blood spilled on it, and it would appear as if the assassins and the previous troops were fighting for the right to wield it for themselves.

After inspecting the blade with a vigilant eye, Vuldomi concluded that it would be better if they blade were kept in the safe hands of Demacia and guarded by her. However, her sister begged her that she should leave this vile abomination where it stood, but she insisted that in order to avoid future bloodshed and keep Demacia prosperous it much be locked away. Xena never suspected its strange sensation to infect her benevolent mind, corrupting it into something malevolent and almost imploring that Vuldomi wield it. After weeks of unknowingly being indoctrinated by the blade's demonic powers, Vuldomi began to use the blade to defend Demacia.

Month after month and battle after battle Vuldomi would use the blade to outright obliterate her enemies, leaving nothing but eviscerated corpses. After every battle, her fury and lust for violence would greatly invigorate itself, causing her to become more and more of a monster. Vuldomi would furiously cut down her foes to the last man standing, never under any circumstance excepting a surrender from the fragile and ultimately earning her the title "Dread Queen" in battle by her enemies. Her own sister who loved her dearly even began to view something corrupting Demacia's once virtuous war hero, and that something was clearly the blade she had begged her to leave behind. Through great planning and determination to free her from her indoctrination, Savara and her comrades decided it was time to take the sword from her and destroy it and its grasp of Vuldomi.

Without her knowing, Vuldomi 's blade was stolen from her very clutches in the silence of night. Unfortunately for her former allies, that very act of deception would be the panacea to break Vuldomi's will completely and fully indoctrinate her. Vuldomi transformed into a hideous abomination of fire and animosity, and was now nothing but a shell of the former war hero she once was. Finally controlled, Vuldomi hunted down each of her former allies killing them all until she found her possession, and the person that was ordered to guard it was her very own sister.

Not having any way to defend herself, Vuldomi's sister Savara begged for her to control herself and break free. Desperately repeating "Vuldomi! Do not let this spirit control you! I love you!" over and over until the fury was coiled up inside her to the point where she let out a furious blow against her sister, killing her but momentarily gaining control of herself. Reflecting on all the harm she had down and how she ruined who she once was, Vuldomi began to cry in agony and was ready to give the killing blow on herself to end her torment. But, the time for moaning needed to be halted as this belligerent spirit's thirst had to be quenched with everlasting battle to avoid innocent blood shed, and the only place Vuldomi could imagine where beings of strange nations, worlds, and dimensions all rally in a blood arena is the League of Legends. However, even with her stain upon the city of Demacia removed the nation would forever fear the title "Dread Queen" for the remainder of its existence.

Abilities

Vuldomi's abilities have no cost related to them and their use is limited only by cooldowns. Instead, she uses Fury as her secondary resource. Vuldomi starts with 0 Fury and it is capped at 100. Vuldomi gains 10 Fury with each auto-attack and 5 Fury whenever she is attacked by an enemy unit- Although this can only occur once every 1.5 seconds (Both Fury gains are doubled against champions). When out of combat for 8 seconds, Fury begins to decay at a rate of 10 Fury per second.

Passive - Reign Of The Dread Queen Animosity: Vuldomi gains bonus attack damage for every point of Fury she possesses. Retaliation: When Vuldomi falls below 25% of her maximum health, her alter ego takes complete control and consumes all Fury to transform her for 4 seconds, increasing by 1 second for every 25 Fury she consumed. Every second she's in this form, she gains a shield that lasts equal to the duration her alter ego is in control plus 1 second and each shield gained per second can stack with the next gained. However, this effect has a static cooldown that is unaffected by cooldown reduction. Type: Passive Bonus Attack Damage: 0.20/0.25/0.30 X Current Fury {Scales At Levels 1,6,11} Maximum Bonus Attack Damage: 20/25/30 {Scales At Levels 1,6,11} Shield Gained Per Second: 30/55/80 Shield Gained - 8 Seconds: 240/440/640 Static Cooldown: 90/65/40 Seconds

Q - Death Cleave Active: After a 0.5 second delay, Vuldomi splits her greatsword in half and strikes all enemies from each side in an 80-degree cone in front of her, dealing physical damage. Additionally, all enemies in the center of the cone take 50% bonus damage. Type: Conic-Area Of Effect Minimum Physical Damage: 40/70/100/130/160(+55% AD) Bonus Physical Damage: 20/35/50/65/80 (+27.5% AD) Maximum Physical Damage: 60/105/150/195/240 (+82.5% AD) Range: 400 Cool Down: 11 Seconds Cost: None

W - Merciless Strike Active: Vuldomi lets out a quick strike against a fragile enemy unit, dealing magic damage equal to a percentage of her attack damage plus a bonus amount based on the target's missing health. Additionally, this ability will stun the target for a short duration if they have a lower health % then Xena. This damage is capped against monsters. Type: Single-Targeted Magic Damage: 60%/75%/90%/105%/120% AD (+8% Of Target's Missing Health) Damage Cap Vs Monsters: 300/350/400/450/500 Stun Duration: 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 Second(s) Range: 325 Cool Down: 14/13/12/11/10 Seconds Cost: None

E - Mutilate Active: Vuldomi charges at a single enemy unit, dealing physical damage. Basic attacks reduce the cooldown of this ability by 0.5 seconds, and it's cooldown is further reduced by 0.25 seconds for every 25 Fury she possesses, up to a 1.5 second reduction per basic attack at 100 Fury. Type: Single-Targeted Physical Damage: 40/80/120/160/200(+75% Bonus AD) Range: 550 Cool Down: 10 Seconds Cost: None

R - Oblivion Strike Active: After a 0.35 second delay Vuldomi's greatsword grows to an astonishing size and she swiftly slams it in a line in front of her, dealing physical damage and knocking up enemies struck for 1 second. For 12 seconds afterwards she gains bonus attack speed and gains full and permanent Fury for the duration that cannot be depleted, meaning if her shield triggers its strength will not consume Fury but will based on current Fury and if she's out of combat for 8 seconds her Fury will not decay. Type: Pass-Through Linear Skillshot Physical Damage: 200/350/500 (+125% Bonus AD) Bonus Attack Speed: 20%/35%/50% Range: 1000 Cool Down: 120/100/80 Seconds

**Playing As Vuldomi **

  • Vuldomi 's main burst combo can destroy a target before they can even react, first begin with your ultimate to slow them allowing for a Death Cleave that can easily be alligned for the bonus damage because of the knocked up target, go in on them with Mutilate and finally use a Merciless Strike to attempt to finish them off.
  • Remember that your passive's shield can stack up to a higher amount, allowing for sudden turn arounds when running.
  • The stun of Merciless Strike only triggers when you have a higher health percentage then your target, meaning that using a quick Conquer then a followup stun can ensure it triggers.
  • Remember that your passive allows you to get extra damage against your opponent, and with that increases the effectiveness of all of your abilities.

**Playing Against Vuldomi **

  • Keep an eye on her Fury, as if you get her to low she'll go berserk and transform into her demon form granting her a shield periodically that will make dueling her a nightmare.
  • Vuldomi is weak against mobile champions that have the capability to dodge her Q and R skillshots, significantly reducing her burst potential.
  • Ranged champions are the ideal counter for Vuldomi, they can cause her to play on the defensive denying her Fury generation and causing her passive shield to grant next to nothing when it activates without Fury to bolster it.
  • Vuldomi's Merciless Strike is dependent on your being in a fatal position, as such 1v1ing her in close quarters where she can stun you is not recommended.

Trivia

  • Vuldomi is not fully indoctrinated yet, as she managed to break some of the demon's control of her when she joined the League of Legends.

  • Vuldomi is hoping to find a way to free herself from the demon's possession.

  • Vuldomi's acts of malevolence are ultimately not her fault, but her devotion to keeping everything safe is to blame.

  • Vuldomi believes that Soraka can help heal her, and that some champion at the League can understand her blade's origins.

  • Vuldomi is constantly at war with herself and her alter ego, resulting in her being nearly insane but retaining some sanity in the hopes of returning to Demacia.

  • When Vuldomi is walking in her human form, her fiery-shadow like alter ego is mimicking her movements and vise versa with her demonic form.

  • Vuldomi is not banished from Demacia, but is closely monitored by Demacian guards whenever she visits. The fact that many still view her as The Dread Queen keeps her from returning, only when that title is made obsolete will she return home forever.

Quotes

The interesting thing about Vuldomi's quotes s that their voice actor varies, some are voiced by her demonic side and the other is voiced by her human (somewhat) side. These quotes express how her body is not hers completely, and has been invaded by a blood thirsty Demon that seeks to control her completely to show she's constantly at war inside herself. Ultimately, some are voiced together into one hellish vocal and both Vuldomi and the Demon both talk in a monotone voice, with Vuldomi's being more sorrowful and the Demon's being more sinister and nihilistic.

Interesting how you don't know where the image came from, it's by a really cool guy called Randy Toroni!

http://www.randytoroni.com/

He actually made a champion concept with this art

It's also been used here: Tera, the Darkinslayer

Randy does do concept art commissions (not for free though), here are the ones I've asked of him:

I see you play Smite. That aside I like the kit, and really like the passive.

I personally think the max passive shield health is a bit too high. Also, is the fury only for the passive shield and damage? Otherwise, well done in terms of damage balance.

I don't like the w. Her w closely resembles Irelia's equilibrium except with lower health percentage instead of higher. Personally I don't think that's a good idea because it doesn't give any room to fight back. Irelia's equilibrium is more of a baiting tool whereas you've made it into a surefire way to kill the target.

All in all, seems to be very similar in playstyle to riven, except the cd's are longer.
