"The only thing the dead have to fear is death itself, which can only be given by Rankor.”-Karthus

Before the shadow isles was well known in Runeterra. There was a warden. He spent most of his time torturing his victims with his favorite weapon being chains. But he didn't always try to torture people with brute force. He once tried to torture a man mentally by making him his servant. Thresh would cut into his victims while making Ivan watch and give him the next tool for his process. Later for his reward he would get the corpse as food instead of the maggot infested vegetable they usually gave the prisoners. He was named the Rankor by the prisoners for being given food by his master and as thus he got attacked by other prisoners. All by Threshs' plan Rankor was the most hated prisoner and mentally unstable. That is until the downfall of his prison.

Meanwhile thresh was hanged for show Rankor was fed to the dogs. As he was still loyal to his master he came back to serve his master once more. However his master had no more uses for him. Rankor was betrayed by his own master as he was locked into his lantern for Threshes own power. Alone and afraid Rancor did the one thing he remembered the most. He started to nibble at his own kind. First it was hardly noticed. Then they wondered why their friends had gone. Then they watched as Rancor ate every non living being in a radius around him. He began to consume the souls of the lantern to add to his own power. He consumed and grew even more insane. With every soul he ate he gained the knowledge and skills of their life. He began to break down into personality disorder. Then in his insanity he grew extremely bored. He decided to leave the lantern on his own accords as he ate his way through the lantern. Leaving glowing holes where the glass once was.

Thresh looked at the ordeal and was extremely pissed off. Thresh shouted “Where are all my souls?” Rankor smiled and replied “consumed by the masses.” Thresh shouted and chained Rankor by the hook. He got up close and began to strangle Rankor by the chain. Rankor got angry and gave into his own insanity. He broke free from threshes chains charging at him as thresh prepared for it. On que thresh blocked off Rankor with five walls; trapping him within the wall. Thresh started beating on Rankor from afar when Rankor tried to charge into thresh. He became slowed as thresh mocked him “such is the life of a slave. You will never be able to kill what has controlled you before.” Rankor knew this to be true so he decided to run. Narrowly excapeing threshes capture.

He didn’t understand what he was let alone how he could use it and thus was unable to beat thresh. He decided the best way to beat him was to understand and abuse his new form. He scoured the memories of the men he consumed looking for someone that could help him. He got the memory of a metal man that was about as old as the shadow isles. It was very likely that he would know exactly what had happened to Rankor. So he set on a journey only hearing stories of where the metal man resided. A Mages' apprentice overheard his conversation with the head master and was able to understand his situation. She told him what the metal man had done to the former master of the academy and as that Rankor deduced where he could be hiding.

In a small Corrupted Druid cathedral sat Mordekaiser. He was bored of waiting as he was thinking of who he could obtain to grow his power next. He looked up to see a relatively tall man walking towards him with a broken jaw and a torn clothing. He watched in amusement as the man asked "What am i?" Mordekaiser looked him up and down and replied "A mortal being with a broken jaw." Rankor wasn't willing to settle with that answer as he asked "I understand that but why am i able to eat the dead now?" Mordekaiser laughed as he replied "lets find out, foolish mortal." Mordekaiser raised some spectral beings and sent them to attack Rankor. Bored Rankor consumed them whole and asked "see? Can you explain this to me." Mordekaiser was angry that his army was smaller and leaped Rankor with thousands of pounds of mace. Rankor quickly moved to the side as he Overstepped and went further then he intended. He crashed into the wall as Mordekaiser Punished him as he used all of his power to take rankor down.

Mordekaiser made maces come from the earth as he smashed Rankor in many areas. Rankor got angry and started to glow. His eyes turned blue and his body turned green with glowing faces around him. He waited patiently for modekaiser to attack him when he bit his arm. Mordekaiser walked backwards after realizeing that Rankor could hurt the dead. Instead he made a field of shrapnel and began to run from Rankor. Rankor so angry that he lept into his own powers and moved faster then his legs could handle. He smashed Mordekaiser before decideing to eat him. He began dismantleing him as morde pounded back. Unfortuneatly he couldn’t dismantle him in time as he Got pushed off by many spectral beings.

Mordekaiser backed off and left Rankor as he dealt with all his spectral beings. He realized that his army would be dwindleing but he understood that Rankor was able to consume him. Thus Mordekaiser learned to expect the reaper, and fear his slave.

First things first... please LABEL your stuff. It's very annoying to read a concept like this. Bold and italicize important things. It makes it easier to read and is more readily received by readers.

Please, add numbers (cooldowns, mana costs, damage, etc.) it gives us a sense of measurement on your champion's power.

So, his lore is a bit of a jumble... you should have kept him within the lore of Thresh... however you sort of made Rankor overpowering, remember that each champion in the rift is equal in their own ways. You totally just destroyed Thresh and Mordekaiser. Also, Thresh has always carried his hook... even when he was alive. Also, Thresh's lore has changed... he no longer had a prison. He guarded an underground vault and went mad. I guess you stuck to Mordekaiser's lore pretty well. Also, what does Rankor hae to do with Black Ice? I don't understand...

You don't really emphasize his madness in the lore. He seems like a perfectly capable being with a disorder. If he was insane, his actions should be unpredictable. But you sorta write him off as mentally unstable guy who wants to know who he is... if he were insane I don't think he would care for who he was.

Umm, the identity of your character is also really not clear... is he a fighter?

Let's start with your passive... Once again, what does he have to do with Black Ice? That's from the Freljord, and he's from the Shadow Isles? Doesn't make sense. The passive is actually really op. If you think about it, you have a Yi ultimate always active, no matter what amount of tenacity... you can't balance that. Unless you deal him a serious debuff that he cant benefit from bonus movement speed or something, however that interferes with the whole kit being focused on movement speed. You really shouldn't try to focus on giving a champion a passive that is meant for an ultimate (master yi). Also, tenacity is hard to get, so making it so that he can't utilize it doesn't really make a difference because not many people actually build tenacity to be honest.

Your Q doesn't fit your character thematically. You said he gained power from consuming souls, so why does he now have the power to show people memories? Also, once again... he's insane, why would he care about showing people their memories, unless you wanted to make him like Thresh and have him enjoy torturing people... but in this case Rankor is the type of insane that is always "mad" because he's unstable. Also, the ability is very weak... its basically a suppression for 1 second... which is very low and does no damage. It is also melee ranged with a cooldown of 10-20 seconds. Not very useful.

Your W does fit him thematically, that is good. This ability gave me insight on who you wanted this character to be. You wanted a berserker type character did you not? Ok, so let's delve into this ability. The cancellation of cc is nice, but he doesn't anything much after that. The movement speed is meh, Garen's Q does about the same thing and gives him a lot of burst damage along with a silence. Your W doesn't offer much to Rankor to make him a berserker. I say keep the movement speed, but give him absurd attack speed, damage, or a new effect that is unique to your character. This will make the 30% more additional damage taken worth it. The ability should have a strong risk, but a large reward... like a berserker.

I'm not sure what your E does to be honest. The wording is very jumbled and not clear. What I see is that he gains attack damage while at the cost of health per basic attack? Then you added in the fact that when he kills a minion or monster, he gains permanent movement speed. Ok, so this ability is nice and all, but its not unique. It's basically an Aatrox ability that happens every basic attack rather than every 3rd. I guess this is nice, but it needs a rework, its not unique and doesn't offer very much.

I see a lot of potential in this ability, however, its a copy of Sion's old ultimate. It's not really special, and it isn't strong.

Overall, your concept is highly underpowered. You have no unique concept going for him here. Make it so that Rankor takes more damage, but by a temporary steroid, he can sustain through it an be able to unleash lots of damage. Like a berserker.

Make sure your character has a unique aspect that they bring to the table, your champion is a mix of yi, sion, aatrox, and malzahar. Not very unique. What I recommend is first think of a totally unique aspect for your champion, then build your kit upon that.

Have fun, and good luck with your concept!

Chosen master yi would always beat rankor. Hidden passive.
