[Rune idea]: market instinct (utility keystone, gives full gold value when selling items)

Very simple yet can also be very powerful. Examples:

  • You're behind: with this keystone you can go for 6 Doran's items for a cheap early help, then sell them off when you can afford a better item.
  • You're top vs an AP (e.g. Kennen ), the rest of their team is AD; with this keystone you can build full magic resist early, and then switch to full armor when teamfights start.
  • You are someone with 2 or more builds that spike at different stages (e.g. MissFortune ); with this keystone you can build full lethality first, then switch to a crit build once you start falling off.
  • You're someone that can build either AP or AD (e.g. KogMaw ): with this keystone you can freely switch to the other build whenever you feel the enemy counterbuilt for the one you've been using.

It's unfortunately too simple for a keystone, and would be too strong for a non-keystone rune. It fills a niche, yes, but that niche is super, super unlikely to be useful. Say you're fighting kennen in your example, here's what you do, you get an Mr item and stack armor afterwards. You lower his damage and then build against his team. And the 6 doran item is just a waste of gold, you get very bad stats from them compared to what the same gold could put you towards on an actual item.

The idea of picking a rune that allows you to sell items in game for full refund is very interesting! Seems very powerful, would probably have to be limited in some way.
