[CCOS] July - Canceled :(

Hey guys, I am sorry to say that I will not be able to get the CCOS going this month. I plan to bring it back, don't worry, but between a veritable swarm of different reasons I do not have the time nor the means to keep this up for the month of July. You guys have probably noticed I've been notably sloppy the last few months and that's one of the many reasons I am freezing the CCOS for now and getting my affairs in order.

At the very least this will also possibly give me time to work on the backlog of trophy .gifs I owe several of you.

But please, don't use this as an excuse to stop posting champ concepts, keep the creativity going! Nothing works wonders for CC's than practice and you should give practice your all. Get out there and create some awesome guys.

Just a question as I don't mind the contest being held off.

My question is "Are champion concepts that are released this month or any month that does not have a CCOS able to be entered when the CCOS starts up again?"

Just curious as I had a champion concept I had released, but saw no contest. Also just for the future so we can know for sure or if you're keeping it as "Champion has to be released in the month that the contest is for"?

Anyways, no worries ^_^ Just do what you have to.

Good question. Normally I'm pretty adamant about that requirement, but I'll also admit I didn't give enough warning about the cancellation to, in good conscious, deny concepts made this week (and by extension this month). In all honesty I didn't come to this unfortunate conclusion until the middle of last week, hence the lack of forewarning.

So, yes, I'll allow concepts to be entered from this month in next month's contest to make up for that. But you'll still be limited to one! :P

And do keep on mind I have no intention of cancelling the CCOS. This fluke just happened due to some deadlines at work popping up suddenly, troubles at apt, the backlog of trophy gifs and what not all piled up suddenly. If that ever threatens the CCOS continuity I would never just striaght up walk away, I would ideally pass the torch instead. Kind of what I'm doing for Augusts'.

That's quite alright. I was just curious about that. Didn't want the chance to slip by for the champion I had wanted to enter. Who knows, I may have a new champion by then I want to enter instead, and of course I know it's only one. :P

I do want to ask something though. Do you allow reworks of older champions that people have done? For example I recently reworked one of my first (if not my first) champion concept and released it sometime last week (About 10 days ago), and I know I entered the old one in a CCOS, but this one is reworked.

Anyways, it's alright if it's a no. I understand it since it IS an old concept even if it is reworked, and I think I read somewhere that it was against the rules you placed down....but I just wanted to ask! ^_^

And as always no problem. Things in life happen. I know how that is. XD Wasn't expecting an injury to put me out of work and let alone change my life. Anyways, take care of things and get back when you can.

I guess then if any champions posted for this month could be within the next CCOS I could put one of mine out there soon and be just fine for entering them into open stage. Naw I think I can wait tell next month, to polish it up a bit more.

You should definitely make make a post about this or something so that some people arent just waiting around till next month, while others get an extra month to prepare their concept.
