Diana suggestion for a small rework
Ever since you talked about maybe wanting to shift her from an assassin to a AP fighter / tank (a bit like you did for gragas ?) I have been thinking about how to pull this off.
First of all, if I understand it well, you don't like her as an assassin, because you find it hard to fine tune her? As an assassin she needs to get in 100 to 0 you and survive. This makes her either always dominant or just not strong enough to prevail versus other midlaners.
I think it was a rioter who suggested to swap her R and E and remove the damage from her lunar rush deal no damage and buff other part of her kit. I honestly think this is a brilliant idea.
Q (no change) W (no change) E => lunar rush, deals no damage, Lunar Rush has no cooldown when used to teleport to an enemy afflicted with Moonlight. Lunar rush now snares the target for 0.5/0.75/1/1.25/1.5 secs R => Diana draws in all nearby enemies and slows them for 2 seconds. 100 secs cdr When Diana activates Moonfall, the moongodes blesses diana for 12 secs Now this is the part where I'm not sure what this blessing should be ? Make it like a shyvana ult ? giving her an extra effect on all her abilities ? (refreshing shield etc ?, longer range on her Q/W, doombot multi Q on cast ?) Give her a passive that gives her a passive that is triggered by auto attacks, giving her stacks of AP up to 10 stacks ? (if you want to shift her to an AP tank)
What does this shift in abilities achieve ?
- Making her power spike on ult on a longer cooldown easier to fine tune
- keeping the moonlight/lunar rush combo, without having it being a one shot combo.
- overall easier to shit the damage / utility to the right parts of her kit
Do you guys like this idea ? What are the points you like/dislike about this idea and how would you fine tune this idea ?
