Diana suggestion for a small rework

Ever since you talked about maybe wanting to shift her from an assassin to a AP fighter / tank (a bit like you did for gragas ?) I have been thinking about how to pull this off.

First of all, if I understand it well, you don't like her as an assassin, because you find it hard to fine tune her? As an assassin she needs to get in 100 to 0 you and survive. This makes her either always dominant or just not strong enough to prevail versus other midlaners.

I think it was a rioter who suggested to swap her R and E and remove the damage from her lunar rush deal no damage and buff other part of her kit. I honestly think this is a brilliant idea.

Q (no change) W (no change) E => lunar rush, deals no damage, Lunar Rush has no cooldown when used to teleport to an enemy afflicted with Moonlight. Lunar rush now snares the target for 0.5/0.75/1/1.25/1.5 secs R => Diana draws in all nearby enemies and slows them for 2 seconds. 100 secs cdr When Diana activates Moonfall, the moongodes blesses diana for 12 secs Now this is the part where I'm not sure what this blessing should be ? Make it like a shyvana ult ? giving her an extra effect on all her abilities ? (refreshing shield etc ?, longer range on her Q/W, doombot multi Q on cast ?) Give her a passive that gives her a passive that is triggered by auto attacks, giving her stacks of AP up to 10 stacks ? (if you want to shift her to an AP tank)

What does this shift in abilities achieve ?

  1. Making her power spike on ult on a longer cooldown easier to fine tune
  2. keeping the moonlight/lunar rush combo, without having it being a one shot combo.
  3. overall easier to shit the damage / utility to the right parts of her kit

Do you guys like this idea ? What are the points you like/dislike about this idea and how would you fine tune this idea ? (Accidentally posted it first under champ skins, I'm derp, my bad :()

I see Diana support :)))

The lunar rush damage should be shifted into Q &/or W.

About the ulty part,it depends on the AoE range.If range is long aditional buffs are unnecessary,if not buffs are welcome.

I can see how this would make her more viable but her ult should not be on a long CD, like a low-moderate one like LeBlanc or Lux ult since after the rework she'll likely function in a role similar to Riven, great constant DPS with a huge spike of damage to remove priority targets. You could make Moonfall pull, slow, do a chunk of current HP % and mark everyone hit with Moonlight. This would give her kinda like an Amumu/Eve feel, Q-Rush into enemy team ult for great damage and to throw off positioning then rush onto the carries to take them out

This essentially gives diana a 3 second snare on q at max rank of lunar rush

You took away 1.2 ap ration from her damage combo as well as a big chunk of flat damage without any compensation to speak of (sans moongoddess blessing because that wasnt stated what it should be)

The snare on her lunar rush will make her a nightmare jungler at lvl 3 but her scaling will be terrible now and I imagine she will fall off hard and be even worst in team fights

With just these changes I would see her being a high risk/reward jungler or support only
