It's always been like that... that's how it's supposed to work.
there is a big difference between
"it's always been like that" and "that's how it's supposed to work."
For consistency sake, similar abilities should all work in the same way.
Soul Shackles isn't a channeled ability - Absolute Zero is.
Thanks for pointing that out 12Tales, I always thought they both where channeling abilities.
After looking this up the description for nunu's ult clearly states it's a channel and for morgana they don't mention anything about channeling.
- To me Morgana's ult is clearly a channel :
use ability
deal effect over time
have to maintain spell over time
both nunu and morgana's ult follow the above description (imo defines a channeling spell?) correct me if I'm wrong . What exactly is the difference between these 2 ults and what makes morgana's ult not fall under the category channeling spell ?
- The description of the unique affix :
league description : UNIQUE Active - Stasis: Champion becomes invulnerable and untargetable for 2.5 seconds, but is unable to move, attack, cast spells, or use items during this time (90 second cooldown).
lolwikia description Unique: Places your champion into stasis for 2.5 seconds, rendering you invulnerable and untargetable but unable to take any actions.
The one of lolwikia is simpeler but clearer in regards to this specific case imo. Unable to take any action . . . I still feel like if you started channeling before the zhonya effect the channel should continue while you are in "trans", but that's just me I guess.
Would love if someone could explain me point 1 if possible.
