Lore(Credit to KillLikeAChamp): Kakko like many of the street dwellers lived day by day. Everyday he woke up was the beginning of another struggle. He scavenged to get by like many of the unfortunate dwellers in Zaun. Until one day, he was wandering amongst the streets when he was approached by a gentleman. This gentleman was an older, richer looking fellow who came across with a suave yet harsh tone. The gentleman called out "Hey boy, what are you doing?" Kakko scared replied "I'm just trying to manage something so I can keep on living day by day." The gentleman approached cautiously, Kakko noticed how uneasy he was. Perhaps he was not used to being around these parts of the city, so he made sure to not put him in the slightest bit of fright. The gentleman called out once more, "How about I offer you some money to make yourself a living so you won't have to struggle day by day. However, in exchange you would have to offer yourself over to me and allow me and my colleagues to perform a bit of "tests" on you." Kakko pondered on the idea, but then realized how long he had struggled and how long it was to have an actual meal. Kakko then excitedly replied, "Sir, you have yourself a deal, now when do we begin?" The gentleman grew a small smirk on his face and smoothly said, "Follow me my dear boy, follow me and it will all start."

Kakko followed the man to a rathersome big building in the nicer part of the city. He lost track of where and how he got to the place he was. Once inside, the gentleman showed him a room, clothes, and some food. Kakko stepped into the room and the gentleman said "Now you just stay here until the morning and I will come and get you, then we begin." After that he closed the door and Kakko realized he was locked inside, so he just ate, showered, and waited until he fell into a deep sleep until he was awaken by voices. He opened his eyes only to be surrounded by five peculiar men and then he saw one of them raise a needle. He moved ever so slightly only to be held down and injected with whatever was in the needle, then he fell unconscious.

When Kakko awoke, he opened his eyes to circular white room and tried to move, but unfortunately he was strapped down. He looked down to his body to only see wires and all sorts of things hooked to him. A man approached him and said "Todays tests proved to have not worked and there seem to be no sight of side effects. Soon you shall be released back to your chambers until tomorrow when we shall resume testing. Days past by, then weeks, then months and everything was a usual routine: wake up, shower, eat, tests, eat, more tests, eat, shower, sleep. Kakko remained in the laboratory for a couple years until one day one the tests that happened to him changed him. He was able to make holograms of himself and control them. At first it was a struggle, but soon he mastered his technique. He would often play tricks on the people he came to know as his "testers" or "friends" as they would call themselves.

It wasn't until a year later when it all turned for the worst. He heard several things of how the place he was at was a secret lab that "they" were trying to find. Apparently "they" were getting closer and closer day by day, as other sister laboratories were attacked and destroyed. Those previous ones left no survivors, so Kakko's "friends" try to help Kakko master his new technique, so they could prepare for the worst. The day arrived one morning when during one of his usual training exercises an explosion sounded off down one the far wards. "They" had arrived. Kakko saw his chance in amidst the chaos to actually free himself, so he headed towards a vent where he projected his hologram down the vent and into the other room. He switched places with it instantly and then saw the skylight in ceiling. He knew that was his only chance of leaving. He didn't want to be another statistic of another laboratory destroyed. Kakko used another one of his holograms to escape only to run a couple of feet before the building exploded. In the smoke and flames he saw a half man/machine figure. He turned and ran.

The next couple of months Kakko fled Zaun to Piltover only to be found by that figure multiple different times. "They" found him everywhere he ran. So, he fled from Piltover to Noxus. While on the way to Noxus, he was caught by "they". He couldn't even get a glance of who or what "they" looked like. He found himself yet again imprisoned. He was told by a speaker day by day what and how to live his day. "They" could not and would not figure out his special technique because "they" didn't know. He was asked questions, told to perform various tasks, and was told to eat various different pills that had no effects. One day Kakko saw a small opportunity to escape through the slightest thing, a keyhole. He knew he could project a hologram through a vent, but he didn't think much of how he could with a keyhole. He knew if he failed "they" would perform tests on him seeing how he had a special technique. He rallied up the courage and managed to perform the technique perfectly by switching with the hologram. To his surprise his captors didn't realize he had escaped, he was not greeted by alarms or anything. So, he headed to escape and fled to Noxus. On the way to Noxus, he was being chased down. He stayed low and laid low. Finally he reached Noxus only to be told to wait to see if he was worthy. He waited amongst the Noxus border for days waiting to see if he was worthy. He knew his captors would soon be apon him. He then met Swain, a high commander for Noxus. Swain asked him "So what can you offer to Noxus." Kakko replied "I have this ability to make holograms of myself and use them to my ability," he proceeded to show Swain. Swain pondered and said "We would see if Darius could make use of this, you must wait for a few more days my boy." Kakko replied harshly, "You can't, I'm being chased for my technique. Just imagine me being on the battlefield, I could fight for you, I can sir, I can." Swain replied "You better prove yourself to Darius when we meet him or else you won't be able to be apart of Noxus." Then Kakko followed Swain into Noxus to meet the one they called Darius. He knew that he would have to prove himself like he did to all the others. He thought to himself, its just another test. Friends: Ezreal Caitlyn Darius Enemies: Viktor Twitch Singed

Passive: Holographic Health- Kakko can't regenerate health, but instead generates Holographic energy at a rate of 5/10/15 per second when he's damaged, increased by 4% for every 1% health Kakko's missing. If he has holographic energy equal to at least 10% of his maximum health, the next auto attack or ability on him will deal 50% reduced damage, consume half of his holographic energy, and summon a hologram next to him that has health equal to the amount of holographic energy consumed. Kakko can have up to 4 holograms at once, and can control them using bound keys. Hologram attacks deal 20/40/60(+2.25% of Kakko's Max Health) physical damage and apply on hit effects(1/2 of the effect). These do NOT count as champions for things like Jinx or Caitlyn ult.

Q: Energy Overload- Kakko sends a bolt of energy in a direction, hitting up to 3 enemies. The first enemy hit takes 40/50/60/70/80(+20% AP) magic damage and is slowed by 25% for 2 seconds, the second enemy takes 80/100/120/140/160(+40% AP) magic damage and is slowed by 50% for 2 seconds, and the third enemy takes 120/150/180/210/240(+60% AP) magic damage and is stunned for 2 seconds. Cost: 50/60/70/80/90 mana Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8 seconds Range: 700

W: Fuse- Kakko teleports to one of his holograms and fuses it into himself, healing himself by 30/50/70/90/110(+7/9/11/13/15% of Kakko's Max Health) and slowing nearby enemies by 30/35/40/45/50% for 1.5 seconds. Cost: 30/40/50/60/70 mana Cooldown: 21/19/17/15/13 seconds Range: 600

E: Proton Link- Kakko creates a link between himself and a hologram or an allied champion for 2.25/2.5/2.75/3/3.25 seconds. Enemy projectiles that pass through the link deal 25/30/35/40/45% reduced damage. The link breaks if Kakko and his target get more than 900 units away from each other. Cost: 45/50/55/60/65 mana Cooldown: 27/24/21/18/15 seconds Range: 550

Ultimate: Shock Transfer- Kakko begins to charge up for up to 6 seconds. During this time, he can move and do everything like normal. When he reactivates Power Transfer, he slams the ground near him after a 0.75 second delay, dealing 40-200/80-400/120-600(+10-50% AP) magic damage to nearby enemies and stunning them for 0.25 to 1.5 seconds(stun duration and damage scale off of how long Kakko has been charging up). If Kakko has charged up at least 4.5 seconds, this knocks enemies in the air instead. Cost: 100/125/150 mana Cooldown: 120/100/80 seconds Radius: 300

Example Item Builds: item 3022 item 3143 item 3110 item 3111 item 3102 item 3065 item 3742 item 3748 item 3071 item 3091 item 3190 item 3047

Looks really underpowered.

Pretty dank concept sir! Only forsee-able issue could be the visual clutter with their being a potential of 5 Kakko clones + the real one on screen. These guys could act as overwhelming damage sponges. Otherwise I love it!

Hey! ^__^ Here's my opinion on your concept!

Passive: If holograms are a huge part of your kit it's kind of unreliable to have them this way.

Q: Like how it reward you for hitting multiple opponents but maybe you could have the effect affect all enemies in the same way? It makes it a bit more reliable.

E: Pretty cool idea can't say much else.

R: I personally really like this ult. Creates nice counterplay for the enemy and huge reward if you can pull it off. Might want to decrease the amount of time you can hold it. I doubt you'll need to hold onto it for 10 seconds or eight for the knock up.

Overall: I think you have a cool idea, but it seems really tricky to get out your holograms. Also do holograms last forever? and does the enegery ever dissapate?

I saw that you said you were horrible at lore, I can write a lore for you if you would like. Just give me some background information and what you would like to be in it. If you would like to see the lore that I've done, Aazulthra, the Betrayed Darkin, lore I did for my champion concept.

Cool concept at its core, however I feel like there are a few flaws that need to be resolved.

Passive

  1. It seems strange that you are punished for building health, as this effectively means that you need more energy to spawn a new hologram, which is weird considering the max health scalings in the kit
  2. It's also weird that only auto-attacks trigger the holograms. This gives incentives to your enemy to only poke you with spells. Also you don't mention if minions and monsters trigger the holograms and where the holograms spawn in relation to Kakko

Q It's nice to sometimes have mechanics that challenge the established idea that hiding behind your allies is a good thing (see Bard's Q)

E Cool utility spell, but very strange too. I feel like there's something missing with this skill.

R Nice ulti, but I feel like it can only realistically be used as a peeling tool because of how immobile Kakko is. Maybe that was your intent?

Interesting, but clearly heavily based off of ekko. Name, lore, the hologram idea being basically like ekko's chronoshift indicator, etc. Concepts are cool, but if you want to base it so heavily off of someone else at least credit the champion.

Sharing the love...

The passive seems like it would be too difficult to control manually (I'm supposing I'm missing something here)

And the W seems a bit off. The holograms have health, don't they? Why not just heal based on the hologram's health?

Otherwise... I would say rito pls.

this is a very minor thing, but the champ seems thematically confused. You want him to build tank, which is fine, but if you were to look at the splash art and see some piltover guy with holograms, you would immediately assume that he is ap, and not tank. Every champion in league of legends is thematically resonant. Lets take rammus. Looking at his splash, you can see that he is an armadillo with spikes on his hard, thick shell. This tells you that he is tanky, but aslo reciprocates damage to other who are attacking him.

these are very helpful links that i give to all budding champion designers as they are really useful. I watch the youtube video after every champion i make, to really hammer home that i have everything right, and also watch it if im stuck on ideas. (you can skip the last 30 mins as that is just a q&a that only needs to be seen once). The other link is to a post by Zileas, discussing champion design philosophy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ggMX6ZOrrV4 http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=293417
