Molik, the Banished Rakkor [Champion Concept]
Inspiration: So the big reason that I came up with this champion is because there is a lack of physical damage supports. There are champions the could work, but none really designed for it. When the rest of your team has a lot of magic damage, like a Mao, Diana, Ori, Corki, there isn't really much options for bring physical damage as a support. I thought about what type of champion would be able to fill this hole and I came up with ideas such as a Demacian Soldier, or possibly a Taric rework. Ultimately though, I decided on a Rakkor for a number of reasons. The first being it seemed like a good fit. The Rakkor were pretty much born to fight and that's what I wanted this champion to do when reasonably ahead. Another reason is not all that much is known about the Rakkor and adding another champion would be a great way to learn some more about them. Finally, it would be a nice acknowledgement to previous lore that has since been rendered uncanon.
Lore: The Rakkor are a civilization on Mount Targon that basks in the glory of the fight and ruled by a Sun worshiping group know as the Solari. On the summer solstice of their 16th year, every child of the Rakkor must participate in the Rite of Kor, where they fight to the death with one another. During his Rite of Kor, Molik was matched against Leona, and he was eaily bested. However she refused to kill him and was revealed to be the avatar of the sun. Despite this revelation, the Rakkor have no tolerance for defeat, even if it comes from the hand of the embodiment of the sun itself. However, the Rakkor could not kill someone who was spared by the new leader of Solari, so Molik was to suffer a fate worse than death: banishment. He could no longer be considered a Rakkor and could never return. Having brought shame upon his family, he was giving his now worthless ancestral weapons and immediately brought to the outskirts of Mount Targon. There he was given hope of redemption: he would be considered a full member of the Rakkor if he could kill the heretic Diana.
Friends: Riven Rivals: Pantheon, Leona, Diana
Artwork: Molik's base skin would look something like a Roman legionary. He would have a Gladius (short sword), a scutum (rectangular shield), helmet, body armor, and a quiver of plumbata (javelins) on his back. Something like the picture below.

For his release skin, perhaps he could get a "redeemed" skin where he looks more like a centurion with golden armor. I imagine that he could also get a variety of other skins as well, such as a fire themed one, dragonslayer, pool party, etc.

I just copied Pantheon's stat's from the LoL wiki page. I don't really know what to do with the base stats to make it what I want.
Kit: Passive: Banishment Every 6/5/4/3 spell casts, Molik's next basic attack does an additional 30/60/90/120 + (30% AD) physical damage. Additionally, whenever Molik is at least 700 units away from any champion or minion he has sight of, he gains 5/10/15/20% MS. (Levels 1/6/11/16)
The on-hit is to help Molik's damage output, as their shouldn't be too much of it in the rest of his kit. The Movement speed is to encourage roaming and could come in handy in a variety of situations. Note that he does not get the Movement speed near minions.
Q: Dart Toss Range: 1000 CD: 14/13/12/11/10 Mana: 30/40/50/60/70 Molik launches a plumbata doing 30/40/50/60/70 + (40% AD) physical damage, applying onhit effects to the first enemy it hits. Molik can launch 3 spears before it goes on cooldown (with 3 seconds between launches).
Note that the CD doesn't start until after all 3 plumbata's are launched, or after the spell times out. This is Molik's main way of applying and stacking his passive as each throw counts as a spell cast. The long CD and relatively high mana cost help keep it in check though. The animation would be him reaching into his quiver and then throwing a javelin.
W: Divide Range: 500 CD: 20 Mana: 60/65/70/75/80 Molik defends his ally, granting them a 60/100/140/180/220 + (10% Bonus Health) shield for 4 seconds. While the shield lasts, Molik redirects 10/15/20/25/30% of the raw damage (before resistances) his ally takes to himself. The shield will break if Molik would otherwise take fatal damage.
This is what really allows Molik to work as a support and it is also what makes him chose between a damage build and a tankier build. If he choose damage, then this skill isn't worth all that much. If he chose a tankier build, then the rest of his kit suffers. Animation would be to him taking a more defensive stance behind his shield, a mark could also denote him and the ally he is linked to.
E: Conquer Range: 700 CD: 15 Mana: Mana: 60/65/70/75/80 Passive: Autoattacking an enemy increases physical damage Molik deals to them by 1/2/3/4/5% for 5 seconds. Stacks up to 4 times. Active: Molik dashes towards a target location, hitting up to 3 enemies, doing 60/100/140/180/220 + (50% Bonus AD) and knocking them aside. If he hits 3 enemies, then he stops at the last one hit.
This spell is useful in a variety of situations as it provides cc and a gapcloser. The animation for this is would be him lowering his shield and charging forward.
R: Redemption CD: 120/100/80 Mana: 100/100/100 Molik knocks back enemies 350 units, gaining 20/35/50 AD for 10 seconds. Furthermore, the movespeed from Banishment is doubled and is in effect regardless of how close he is to another unit.
The animation would be something like a Leona shield denotation with him glowing afterwards.
Gameplay: Laning Depending on how the laning phase goes, Molik can max any of his skills first. However, most of the time, he is probably going to max His Q first for the most damage. The movement speed from Banishment will help Molik roam around, helping other lanes and warding the enemy jungle. Molik would also be able to top. However, if he tops, then he loses the ability to use his W, leaving him down an important spell. Mid-Game Where Molik really shines is small skirmishes. He is able to dash into the back and start applying cc to everything near him, allowing for his team to win the skirmish. He is also able to chase down enemies that escape with his ult/passive/E. Teamfight Molik starts to fall of again during teamfights. This is because AoE will often hit Molik and the Carry that he shielded. Molik would best be played as a second wave initiator, like Aatrox or Olaf. He would prefer to let champions like Malphite dive in first, before following up with his cc and damage. There would be a wide variety of champions that he could choose to shield. Against assassin heavy comps, he would preferably keep his ADC alive by shielding them. When there is a low chance of dives however, he could choose to shield the tank, making them that much harder to kill.
Build The most important thing for Molik to build would be CDR. This allows him to use his spells more often, which is something he desperately wants. From there, he would need to decide if he wants to build Damage or Tank. In most cases, he will probably end up going for a mix. Iceborn Gauntlet would be a good buy as it provides him with many stats that he wants. Cleaver would also be a frequent buy for similar reasons. I also expect the juggernaut items to be a common purchase on him as well due to the tankiness and damage they provide. When ahead, he would probably seek a more damage oriented build, favoring things like Hydra and Tri-force, while behind, he would probably build more tank.
Synergy Works Well With: Kog'maw - Divide will make juggermaw compositions so much more effective. Orianna - They both provide poke, shields, and decent engage, forming a dangerous dou. Tahm Kench - Molik could have some difficulty getting to the back line, which Tahm will help a lot with. Struggles Against: Leona - Leona should have the tankiness and cc to out do Molik's peel early on. And her threat to the ADC means Molik can't roam. Vayne - Vayne will have all the tools she needs to play against Molik. Kathus - He does to much AoE damage for Molik to handle during team fights
Discussion What do you think of the kit? Should something be changed? Is it numbers are off or is there something fundamentally wrong with the kit? Other thoughts?
Edit 1: Changed his passive MS to break on enemies too. Changed Q ration from 20 to 40% AD. E damage now 60/100/140/180/220 + (50% Bonus AD) from 60/90/120/150/180 + (50% Bonus AD) Updated Gameplay section, Teamfight and Build.
