Shanna, The Shadow Child.

Concept - A remnant, the last remaining piece of a person's shattered soul. Shanna is forever wondering the Shadow Isles, constantly surrounded and protected by shadow beasts. She is fear manifested in human form. Yet beneath that fear lays the innocence of a child. It is important that it feels as if she isn't controlling the shadow beasts, but rather that they are acting on their own to protect her.
Personality - Shanna is very quiet, and constantly afraid. She is comforted by the shadow beasts that accompany her.
Age - Unknown
Voice - Shanna has the voice of a twelve year girl matching her appearance.
Visual Appearance - Shanna will appear as a twelve year old girl wearing a simple and plain white gown. Her hair is long and black, and her eyes are white with blindness. Her gown is old and worn looking, the hem being blackened. She is bare foot, lacking any kind of shoes. The shadow beasts come in four forms. Small shapeless ones float through the air. Wolf like ones prawl around her, searching for enemies. Reptilian ones shoot up from the ground to slash across enemies before dissapearing back into the ground. And the last and largest one is massive, ape like, with horns and a tail.
Equipment - None.
Visual Effects - Shanna will not have attack animations like other champions, but rather the small shapeless shadows beasts will shoot out at high speeds to impact and damage her enemies. When Shanna's HP reaches 0, instead of flopping over dead like other champions, you will see her squat down and hug her knees. Then the large shadow beast from her ult will come through a portal and pick her up, holding her cradled in its arm, like a mother would her baby. The shadow beast would then take her back through the portal with it, the portal closing afterwards.
Resource - Fear. (Might change this to mana depending on feedback.) Fear operates just like energy does for ninjas, however only generates while in combat.

Abilities.
Passive Ability - Protective Swarm. Shanna is surrounded by a protective swarm of small shapeless shadow creatures that will block damage for her by providing a shield. This shield has 25 strength times her level, ending at 450 at level eighteen, plus one strength for each minion she kills, and five for each champion she kills. So if she kills 200 minions and 20 champions in a single match, she would have a shield strength of 750. When the shield is destroyed the shadow creatures will disperse around Shanna, fearing all enemies within 150 (melee distance) distance for 1.0 seconds.
Shield strength is, 25/ times Shanna's level, plus 1 for each minion or monster kill, and 5 for each champion kill.
Fear length is, 1.0 seconds at a maximum distance of 150 when the shield is destroyed.
Cooldown is 20 seconds. Cooldown does not star until the shield has been broken.
Q Ability - Pulse seeker. A single Shapeless Shadow Beast will launch from Shanna and attach to a target. After five seconds the Shapeless Shadow Beast will detonate, dealing damage based on the amount of Fear Shanna has. When the Shapeless Shadow Beast first attaches to a target, the target will begin hearing a heartbeat. The heartbeat will beat faster the longer and faster as time passes until the Shapeless Shadow Beast detonates.
Damage is, 60/70/80/90/100/ damage.
AOE damage is, 50% of damage dealt to primary target.
Range is, 450/ range.
Time to detonate is, 5/ seconds, minus 0.5 second for each auto attack Shanna lands on the target.
Fear cost is, 20/ fear.
Cool down is, 12/12/11/11/10/ seconds to cool down.
AP rate is 0.8 so 100 AP would add 80 damage to the ability.
W Ability - Shadow Hound. Shanna will summon a Shadow Hound from a targeted champion's shadow. This can be summoned on an enemy to damage and fear them for 0.5 second. The Shadow Hound will then automatically attack Shanna's target, however if Shanna is damaged by an enemy champion, the Shadow Hound will rush to that champion and proceed to attack them. Shanna may summon the Shadow Hound on herself without fearing or damaging herself. She may also summon it on an ally to have the Shadow hound protect them and attack their targets the same as if it were summoned on Shanna. When summoned on an ally, any kills and kill gold the Shadow hound gets will be contributed to the ally the Hound is tethered to, and not Shanna. Only one Shadow Hound may be on the map at a time, and the ability's cooldown does not start until the Hound has died.
Shadow Hound's damage is, 40/60/80/100/120/ damage when summoned on an enemy champion.
Shadow Hound's auto attack damage is, 20/40/60/80/100/ damage per strike.
Shadow Hound's fear length, 0.5/ seconds when summoned on an enemy champion.
Shadow Hound's HP is, 100/250/400/550/700/ HP.
Range Shadow Hound can be summoned, 300/ range at all levels.
Fear cost is, 25/ fear.
Cool down is, 20/19/18/17/16/ seconds to cool down and does not start until the hound has died.
AP rate is, 0.5 so 100 AP would add 50 damage to the ability and to the Shadow Hounds auto attacks and HP.
E Ability - Shadow Rend. A Shadow Reaver will erupt from the ground next to the target and leap through the air slashing the target as it passes and will then dive back down into the ground. This ability is a fixed range ability, meaning that Shanna can only cast it 450 distance from herself, regardless of where her enemy is. However this ability can be used on the ground allowing you to strike enemies hidden in grass if you believe any are there.
Damage is, 80/90/100/110/120/ damage.
Range is, 450/ Range.
Fear Cost is, 30/ fear.
Cool down is, 20/18/16/14/12/ seconds to cool down.
AP rate is, 0.9 so 100 AP would add 90 damage to this ability.
R Ability - Dark Onslaught. Shanna will scream and hug herself in fear, signaling the start of the ability. Every player on the enemy team will then have their sight reduced to 1/2 of normal for three seconds. The primary target however will have his/her sight reduced for the full duration of the ult, which is 6 seconds. During this time, the primary target will be slowed 50% and be assaulted by the small shapeless shadow beasts for two seconds, then by Shadow Hounds launching through them, and Shadow Reavers slashing across them for two seconds, and finally by the Shadow Guardian erupting from the ground and slamming down upon them during the last two seconds. The Shadow Guardian will deal about half the damage of the ult by itself. This ability is a channeled ability.
Damage for first two seconds is, 50/100/150/ damage for the first two seconds.
Damage for the second two seconds is, 150/200/250/ damage for the seconds two seconds.
Damage for the last two seconds is, 300/350/400/ damage for the last two seconds.
Total damage is, 500/650/800/ damage.
Time the ability lasts is, 6/ seconds.
Range of the ability is, 600/ casting range.
Sight reduction is, 50% for 3 seconds. (6 seconds for primary target.)
Slow on primary target is, 50% for duration of ability.

Cool down is, 140/120/100/ seconds to cool down.
AP rate is, 1.0 so 100 AP will add 100 damage to each two seconds of the ability.
How to play Shanna.
Shanna's passive can be a very strong safety tool. By farming CS and gaining champion kills you can increase its power and gain some protection without having to rely on defense items as much. Its ability to fear enemies within 150 distance when it is depleted is useful for giving you a brief moment to gain some distance from your enemies if you find yourself on the losing end of a fight.
Shanna's Q is a powerful harass tool. Use it to pressure your lane opponent and give you some breathing room to farm.
Shanna's W is perhaps her most useful ability. It allows you to either aid an ally by giving them a pet, or to gain dominance of your lane by pressuring your lane opponent back to tower. But as the cooldown does not start until after the hound has died, it is important to choose the right moment to use it, rather than simply having it out all the time.
Shanna's E Is a bit difficult to use as it can only strike at enemies at 450 distance from you. However it is very useful for probing bushes and the other side of jungle walls as you may freely cast the ability on the ground. Constant movement is key if you want to maintain proper distance from your enemy.
Shanna's R Is both a nuke and a tactical spell. When activated it will temporarily reduce the enemy team's vision by 50%, then it will deal ramping up damage to the primary target. However as it uses 70% of your fear, you need to plan out its use properly, or face not having it when you need it.
How to play against Shanna.
When popping Shanna's Shield, it is important to be attacking from a distance as her fear effect only reaches 150 distance, about melee range on most melee champions. It is also important to deny her farm and kills, as doing so will deprive her of needed CS and kills to strengthen her shield, keeping it weak and easy to deal with late game.

For Shanna's W
is useful for eliminating her pet. However when fighting without Smite, you should attempt to kill the Shadow hound by drawing it under the tower where the extra damage can allow you to destroy it quickly.
Shanna's E can only effect you if you are 450 distance from her. Moving closer or further than that distance, will prevent Shanna from catching you with it.
Shanna's ultimate ability hits heavy, however has a multitude of counters. Items such as

does the same. However if you don't have these items than
