Butch, the Irritable Archer

Butch is a duo laning marksman who blurs the line between the support and carry roles. His main strengths are survivability, unmatched tower killing with friends, and the ability to net a large gold advantage for him, and his partner if they trade kills.

Butch has an unpleasant, demeaning, and highly frustrated personality. He constantly tries to insult his allies and enemies alike, while being just plain toxic in an unintentionally humors way that only ends up making him look bad.

Speaking of how he looks... http://i59.tinypic.com/1znmob6.png Disclaimer: the art work is not mine. It's my brother's ;)

P: Killjoy Butch gains frustration every time an enemy that he has attacked within the last 4 seconds is killed by someone other than him. If Butch does get the killing blow then he will lose frustration instead, restoring 0.3% of his max health and gaining an extra gold piece for every point of frustration quelled. Different types of enemies will generate/quell different amounts of frustration based on how much gold they drop when killed. Butch can’t have more than 500 frustration at a time.

Reasoning: Killjoy is a big part of Butchs identity. It encourages him to be paired up with a more aggressive support that can take “his” kills, and give the two of them a gold advantage over their opponents. Also, Butch builds more tanky than your average ADC, so rather than life steal he relies on his passive to stay healthy.

Q: Angry Eyes Butchs next basic attack fires off instantly, and is replaced with a burst of rage that deals 10 / 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 (+4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8% of the targets missing health) as additional physical damage. The extra damage is increased by 0.5% for every point of frustration. Enemies that are close to the target take 20% of the total damage, are heavily slowed briefly, and are slightly knocked back. The range of the explosion increase with the amount of damage dealt by the initial attack.

Reasoning: Especially in team fights, it can be hard for Butch to get that last hit on an enemy, but as his frustration builds up, angry eyes will become better and better at executing people.

W: Unstable Arrow Butch fires an unstable arrow that pierces through enemies, and releases an explosion at a designated point of its flight. Enemies that are hit by either the arrow or the explosion are dealt 20 / 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 (+6 / 8 / 10 / 12 / 14% of their current health) as magic damage, and are marked for 6 seconds. The next damaging spell or basic attack from a champion, monster, or turret will consume the mark and deal 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 / 120 (+80% AP) extra magic damage. Deals 200% damage to minions, but the initial damage is capped at 80 / 140 / 200 / 260 / 320 against monsters.

Reasoning: Unstable arrow is an excellent wave clear ability that helps solidify Butchs main strength as a big team siege threat.

E: Upstage Butch jumps to a target champion, then bounces a short distance in what ever direction they are facing, and gains 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 / 60% extra attack speed for 4 seconds. If Butch jumps off an ally then his armor and magic resist are increased by 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40 for 4 seconds, and if he jumps off an enemy then they are dealt 60 / 90 / 120 / 150 / 180 (+10% of his max health) physical damage.

Reasoning: Running away? Butch does that better. Going in for the kill? Butch is there first. Upstage lets Butch get in and out of places before other people can, but it’s his only bit of mobility so he must be careful when using it.

R: The Perfect Shot Butch throws a magic arrowhead at the target enemy champion, or turret stunning it for 2.5 seconds while he lines up the perfect shot. While the target is stunned it takes 10% more damage from all sources. After the stun wears off Butch fires the shot he has been charging dealing 200 / 350 / 500 (+200% AD) physical damage. The perfect shots cooldown is reduced by 15 seconds if the target is killed by the attack, or before the attack has a chance to hit.

Reasoning: Butch can’t just shred towers like some other ADCs, but in groups his ult can be used to really smack down objectives while also providing a little safety for his team.
