Aurelion Sol: Info and Concepts

Judging purely from the name, the champion is a male, Golden (latin: Aurum) dragon of the Sun (Sol), possibly with some tie in to Shurima, but I feel that venue may be cleared out. Perhaps he is more closely linked with Leona. Alternatively he could be a sun-based dragon with the head of a lion (AureLION Sol)

This 'Golden Sun' may have only to do with his visuals, or it could be that he derives his spells from the sun's energy/worship. From that perspective, his kit may include DoT sun damage and function similar to Brand, though he would probably have more mobility spells (Riot likes those these days) and less hard CC.

What do you guys think about his potential kit and design?

While i'm kind of disappointed he may not be an eastern style dragon (rip Ao Shin's design) I am interested in his potential connects with Lenona as I fell Mount Targon is very underused in lore. As for his kit, I hoping for some sort of tanky mage or just a fighter/bruiser (though I feel mage is more likely) beacause that's what I think of when I think dragons. Also can't wait to hear more lore on dragons, and to hear connections to Shyvanna (even if it'll just be taunts)

Ao Sol should be a tanky mage or juggernaut. I will be pissed if he is an assassin or marksman

If he is a sun dragon type of creature, then I would expect him to come out linked with the rumored Mt. Targon event. Maybe he'd serve as the living embodiment of the Sun's power that is treated as a revered entity by the solari?
