######I do not know who made this drawing if anyone does please let me know and I will credit them properly. I have, however been told that it is fan art of this - [link]

There are many different kinds of defence that supports can provide in League of Legends. Those who try to prevent damage (Janna, Lulu...), those who heal damage (Nami, Soraka...), and then there’s those redirect damage to themselves. The only champion who truly fits into the last category is Braum.

Seishin is meant to make his allies tank more damage by giving them his own defences. His passive allows for his allies to become very tanky so long as Seishin stays with them. His Spiritual Symbiosis lets him take a percentage of all the damage an ally takes instead of them.

Seishin fills this unique niche that allows for the supporting of your allies by making yourself incredibly tanky. Now this means that his success is heavily reliant on his allies. Correct positioning is key, your whole team has to be on the same page. He is literally useless without any allies because 70% of his kit counts on having allies nearby.

As always any and all feedback is appreciated, please comment if there's anything in particular that you liked or didn't like (And if you really like it don't forget to give this post an up vote, only if you want to though).

#Table Of Contents

1) Stats 2) Abilities 3) Quotes and Emotes 4.1) Lore - Separation 4.2) Lore - Names

#Warning! - LORE IS INCREDIBLY LONG - BOTH OF THEM - LONG ######You have been warned...

#1) Stats

|Stat|---|Base Value|---|Per Level|--- |- |Health||430||+87| |Health Regeneration||7||+0.85| |Mana||235||+40| |Mana Regeneration||7||+0.7| |Armor||22||+3.1| |Magic Resist| |30||+1.25| |Attack Damage||55||+3| |Attack Speed||0.625||+2.9%| |Movement Speed||335||0| |Range||125||0|

#2) Abilities

#Passive: Inhabitance When Seishin enters an ally champion they become his Host, triggering special effects on Seishin’s abilities. Seishin’s Host takes 11 + (0.5 x level)% of his armor and magic resist. (Minimum 11.5%, Maximum 20%)

Any healing done to Seishin's Host applies to Seishin at 65% of the value.

#Q: Spectral Image Cooldown: 8 seconds Mana Cost: 65 / 70 / 75 / 80 / 85

Seishin sends out a spectral image of himself to a target location. Once there the image throws out a ball of spectral energy, dealing 80/125/170/215/260 + (.5 Total AP) magic damage to the first enemy hit and slowing them by 45%/50%/55%/60%/65%.

Host Effect: While inside a Host Seishin can reactivate Spectral Image, this will restart Spiritual Symbiosis’s cooldown and cause Seishin to jump to the image.

#W: Ghastly Shroud Cooldown: 13 seconds Mana Cost: 70 / 80 / 90 / 100 / 110

Passive: Jumping into an ally with Spiritual Symbiosis heals Seishin and his target for [2.5% of Seishin's maximum health] + (.3 Total AP), while increasing the target’s movement speed by 10%/15%/20%/25%/30% + (.05 Total AP) for 2/2.5/3/3.5/4 seconds.

Active: Seishin shields a target ally for 70/95/120/145/170 + (.45 Total AP) for 3 seconds. So long as the shield remains the target has 8 + (.03 Total AP)% increased health regeneration and 4 + (.015 Total AP)% increased armor and magic resist.

Host Effect: If Seishin’s Host is the target, Ghastly Shroud instead turns that ally invisible (Stealthed) for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds (The ally will be revealed if an enemy champion is within 650 range and would have normal vision of them, or if the ally begins to attack/cast an ability).

#E: Spiritual Symbiosis Cooldown: 19/18/17/16/15 seconds Mana Cost: No Cost

Seishin jumps inside an allied champion; that champion becomes his Host.

Seishin takes 45% of the damage his Host takes. He can freely cast his abilities from his Host. Seishin is untargetable while in a Host. In addition, Seishin takes 10% of the damage his Host would take INSTEAD of them. (TL;DR: The Host takes 90% of any damage and Seishin takes 55% of the damage.)

Host Effect: Seishin can jump out of his ally to a target location, dealing 40/90/140/190/240 (.4 Total AP) magic damage to nearby enemies or, he can jump from one ally into another (Jumping from one ally into another doesn't trigger the AoE). Doing this puts Spiritual Symbiosis on cooldown.

#R: Suffering Cooldown: 150 / 130 / 110 Mana Cost: 100 / 100 / 100

Seishin lobs a ball of dark spiritual energy at a target location; dealing 150 / 250 / 350 + (.55 Total AP) magic damage, slowing enemies by 40%/50%/60% for 5 seconds, and marking the location. Any enemies hit by Suffering take 5 (+ .03 Total AP)% additional damage from Seishin’s allies for a short time.

Seishin can reactivate Suffering to pull himself/his Host to the target location.

Host Effect: When Seishin’s Host damages an enemy champion that enemy gains a stack of Distress. When an enemy has 5 stacks of Distress, the next time that enemy takes damage directly from Seishin they will be feared away from his current location for .5/.75/1 second. This effect cannot occur more than once on the same enemy for 8/7/6 seconds.

#3) Quotes and Emotes

######More will be added... if I can think of them...

Selection: “The mind… The body… The soul… All mine to control… ALL MINE… [Insert Evil Laugh Here]”

Movement “Fine” “If you wish” “Closer… Come closer…” “The time has come”

Attacking “Die” “Leave my sight.” “Fool” “No living for you~ ” “What a waste”

Casting Q “Try this” “A gift, from me to you” “Over here~”

Casting E “No one dies unless I say so!” “Not on my watch!” “You hurt them, you hurt ME!” “We fight as one!”

Dance Seishin separates his soul from his own body and tangos with himself :D

#4.1) Lore - Separation

There are many people in this world, all of them different, some hardly ‘people’ at all. I’m one of those ‘people’.

The Shadow Isles, a place of purest darkness, the place I call home. I cannot tell you how I got there, I cannot tell you how I came to be, but,

I can tell you a story.

It’s not a nice story, but I doubt that matters much.

It begins with the Warden, oh- the Warden, quite the character. He spends all of his time collecting that which he holds most dear, a portion of a person’s whole. Now this Warden, he doesn't wish to posses the entirety of a person’s whole, oh no, he treasures only a small portion of it.

The worst part, in my opinion, is that it isn't even something physical, its something…

ethereal.

Yes, I do believe that would the best word for it. Ethereal. Now let us introduce the rest of cast, shall we?

The Horse, of course, does not treasure any part of a person’s whole, he merely wishes to end it entirely. He thrives off of the prospect of war. As to how one can waste such a great amount of untapped power, power that could very easily be obtained considering his stance in this world’s affairs, is entirely beyond me.

The Lich is yet another part of this ever-growing cast of mine. He sings the same song day in and day out, “Death is your salvation”, as if they could be saved.

He doesn't treasure any particular part of a person’s whole, he treasures the separation of a person’s whole. The separation of the physical, and the ethereal.

Now there are plenty of other characters I could mention; the Widow, the Spider, the Armor, but I digress. There is but one more character truly important to this story, and he is different from the rest of us.

Well, two actually, but seeing as how one of them resides within the Warden’s grasp I feel no need to call them by name. After all, the Warden is very sensitive about his collection. Once he has you there is no going back.

He found this out the hard way, and to this day believes that there is to be some way as to undo that which the Warden has done.

It’s a shame, really.

Anyways I do believe that all of the introductions are out of the way and I've kept you waiting long enough. Its time to start the main event.

Oh how fun this will be…

A man and a woman, bound in name, to slay the creatures darkness has born.

Only to be undone by those same creatures they sought to destroy;

One lives in the other’s name, continuing to slay all he opposes, in hopes that he may see her again,

The other doesn't live, yet isn't dead either; trapped between the lines of life and death by the Warden’s chains. As to if she longs to be with him, I do not know. For can those trapped in such a state truly feel?

Perhaps I should start back a little further.

There are many factions in this world, some warring with one another, some indifferent to the conflict. One particular faction sought to bring light into this world, through the elimination of the dark.

Two particular members of this group were not only pledged to this cause, but also to one another. Together the two set out to do what they thought must be done, and they accomplished their goal.

Mostly.

When the two had heard of place, said to be the birthplace for this world’s darkest creatures, they set off to find and destroy all of it’s offspring.

Now on their way there they encountered various beings from said place; the Horse and his love of war, the Lich and his love of well, death. The various other residents of this black nest may or may not have been encountered by the pair, I do not know nor do I care, but their infamous reputations were.

These encounters only lead the two to become more determined to complete their goal, to purify this taint that plagues the world.

And yet, their downfall has played a rather big part in securing our success, or rather, inflating the egos of those who had already thought rather highly of themselves.

But once again, I digress.

It wasn't until their encounter with the Warden, when things fell apart, for him.

It was, from what I can gather, a typical night. To seek out and destroy some of this world’s darkness.

However, so few plans truly go as planned. This was one such plan. The two, husband and wife, confronted the Warden.

This alone was a flawed plan, the rest irrelevant. The Warden proved to be a bit more clever than the pair had anticipated.

One never truly appreciates what they have until it is lost.

Now that his partner lies within the Warden’s collection he wishes to destroy the Warden in hopes that she might be freed.

Now I know what you might be thinking, “Exactly what was the purpose of the story?”

Some could argue that there isn't one.

There's only one thing that I can see. Many ‘people’ value the wrong things.

The Warden collects, the Lich ‘frees’ and the Horse kills for sport. They all overlook the last part of a person’s whole. The ethereal, the physical, and the mental.

Sure, one could argue that there are more parts to a person but these three are the most apparent. Its the combination of these three that make a person, on their own, worthless.

I do not do that.

I am not blind to what’s lies in front of me, what escapes the twisted minds of common revenants and ghouls.

I do not waste the power held within every living thing on this mortal plane.

I do not intend to separate what binds those that are worlds apart, what defines the differences in their existence.

If you have one but not the other, if you strive to separate them and leave useless without one another, then what is it that you're after?

Excuse me, I may seem rather calm but I must admit I am rather obsessive about my work. The thought of such reckless actions just angers me so. Really its the only thing that angers me.

I do not wish to separate any of those bonds, they hold too much power. To control them, to take the power of other and make it your own, to control all of the people and ‘people’ who inhabit this earth;

That is where true power lies...

#4.2) Lore - Names

There are very few people in this world who I call by name, a name I should mean to say. I have yet to encounter an individual whose uniqueness prompts anything else.

Surely there's the Warden, Lich, Horse, Widow, Spider and so on and so forth. Not their true ‘names’, but merely what they are, for that is all I can see upon any observation.

To warrant something as majorly trivial as to be called by one’s ‘name’, i’m not quite sure as to what someone would have to do to be regarded with such respect.

Well, I do have my criteria for such things but to go from the nameless to named, that i’m not quite sure.

Those who I address with a name, those individuals stand out from rest. To all who remain unnamed, I give no regards.

I apologize if sound a bit egotistical in this explanation, I do not mean to sound as if i’m putting myself higher up in this world that I truly am.

I merely mean to denounce those who attempt to do the same thing.

In logic, any form of logic, to call something by its name that would require it to be different from all others, yes?

That is my point; everyone thinks themselves to be entirely different from one another when that is surely not the case.

Every person and ‘person’ on this earth, they’re all the same.

The same joy.

The same sorrow.

The same greed.

I've been within many people and ‘people’, they all share the very same base.

The only thing different is face it takes. Now if I were to only call those from my home by a name then that would make it sound as if all of the ‘persons’ relating to my kind are in some way important to me.

This is not the case.

While my home is home to many of this worlds more twisted creatures there are some from other lands who I, remarkably, have some respect for.

Take the Blade for instance. I have yet to encounter any more of his physical kind, there are only five or so, yet he is rather interesting. His black form, lust for war, and aptitude for battle make him stand out just so. In all the three terms, unique.

Now if you find yourself unaware of what those three terms are I shall list them for you;

the physical body, the ethereal soul, and mental integrity.

Those are the three thing I hold people and ‘people’ accountable for. My respect for them is based off of the uniqueness in these three categories.

Another example of this would have to be the Eye, his hunger for knowledge, it peaks my interests. The way his body and soul are formed to perfectly perform his mind’s wishes, to devour all for the sake of the mind, once again it peaks my interests.

I find that I have been rambling on for quite some time now, pardon that by the way, I tend lose track of time rather easily. I believe I have made my point.

But, Before you go,

There is one thing, That you should know,

One individual, A singular individual,

Holds my respect,

Enough to call him by name, Not a ‘name’ as with the others,

But his name,

He holds no ties in this world, But his subjects do,

As to what his name truly is,

I’m not telling you.

I kinda don't like the fact that he jumps into an ally, it doesn't seem like it belongs in league. It means that there are suddenly less targets on the field, and Seishin can be permanently untargettable. It means less actions and decisions for the player, they can jump into an ally and afk to give them bonus health and defenses. It means that there is one less player for the enemy to catch off guard, to initiate on, etc.

I think a better move would be to link to allies, or send a spiritual projection onto them( i guess like Orianna's E), and if they leave the range. the effect is lost.

I'm a huge fan of the concept in general, and the intercepting damage/donating stats, gives me a good feeling like Defilers and Archons from Rift.

I really like this :) I think he would be a unique addition into the champion roster and very popular!

Possesion is interesting, but the hate I see is the Host part, how would that work?

Interesting concept. The ult probably needs to be changed, 5 attacks from your host target is quite a lot. Remember that Braum's passive is 4 attacks by anyone on your team, and still isn't guaranteed to be procced if dodged well. Also I think they shy away from abilities that can troll your own team. Most of the kit is fine for it but allowing him to tp his host to his ult area allows him to, without input from the other player, put him right in middle of the enemy.

It also sounds like the q and the e do virtually the same thing when moving him around.

Perhaps when he inhabits a host he grants a shield equal to a % of his current health for a certain time window, and when the shield breaks it severs the bond and deals that much damage to Seishin. The current form is rather mathy.

And the character, as a possessor, would be interesting with a spiritual haunting form rather than just merely a symbiosis.

The artwork is from something called Sengoku BASARA Battle Heroes. It's actually fan art, but I can't fine the real source. I'll keep my eyes and ears open.

I know I'm a little late but Seishin as been on my list of "Favorite Concepts" for awhile now. You abilities seem fair for the most part, but I do agree that Spiritual Symbiosis needs a window where he HAS to separate. I like the tittle and lore as well. I think your Gastly Shroud is cool, but it would make too many champs OP to have stealth. Instead, an AOE fear would be nice. Just my opinion though. This guy is in my top 5 champs of all time on the boards.
