The image above is fanart of Sengoku BASARA Battle Heroes but I cannot for the life of me find the original artist. If anyone knows please let me know!

This is a bit of a re-vamp of the first champion I ever made.

Since the original concept was made well over 4 years ago I thought it was about time I gave him the update he properly deserved :D

Any and all criticisms and comments are welcome. To get an idea of what he;s supposed to do I recommend reading his E: Inhabit first...

#Passive: Host

Whenever Seishin Inhabits an ally he gains 10-20% of their total Ability Power and Attack Damage as Ability Power for himself.

Meanwhile, seishin loses 20-40% of his bonus Armor and Magic Resist and gives it to his Inhabited ally.

While Inhabiting an ally Seishin loses 4% of his maximum health per second and cannot passively regenerate health. This effect is reduced by health regeneration (Reduced by 0.1% per 25% Base Health regeneration).

#Q: Phantasm Cooldown: 12/10/8/6/4 Cost: 50/55/60/65/70

Seishin sends a Phantasm to a target location. For the next 4 seconds Seishin can reactive this ability to have the Phantasm send an orb of shadows in a target direction dealing 60/90/120/150/180 + (0.4 Total AP) magic damage to the first enemy hit.

If an enemy champion is hit Seishin gains 50%/100%/150%/200%/250% Base Health regeneration for 4 seconds.

Inhabit Effect: Seishin can choose to leap to his Phantasm when he exits an ally. The damage and size of Inhabit’s area of effect is reduced by 50% but the fear duration is increased to 1.25 seconds.

#W: Protect/Shroud Cooldown: 16/15/14/13/12 Cost: 90/95/100/105/110

Passive: Whenever Seishin Inhabits an allied champion he heals them for 10/40/70/100/130 + [3% of Seishin’s maximum health] health and grants them 30% movement speed for 2/2.5/3/3.5/4 seconds. Upon exiting his ally they are healed for half of that amount.

Protect: Seishin places a ghastly shroud on an ally, increasing their Armor and Magic Resist by 5/7/9/11/13 + (0.1 Seishin's Total Defences) and increasing their Base Health Regeneration by 50%/100%/150%/200%/250% for 4 seconds.

Shroud: Seishin renders his Inhabited ally Camouflaged for 2/2.5/3/3.5/4 seconds and grants them a shield for 5% of his Maximum Health.

Inhabit Effect: This ability becomes Shroud while Seishin is Inhabiting an ally.

#E: Inhabit Cooldown: 20 Cost: None

Seishin leaps into an ally for an indefinite amount of time. While in an ally Seishin takes 45% of the damage his Inhabited ally takes while the ally takes 10% reduced damage.

Seishin can re-active Inhabit to exit his ally, dealing 100/140/180/240/280 + (0.65 Total AP) magic damage to enemies near the ally and fearing them for 0.75 seconds. He re-appears next to his ally.

Seishin’s other abilities either change or have additional effects while his is Inhabiting an ally.

#R: Despair Cooldown: 110/100/90 Cost: 100

Seishin conjures a ball of dark spirits at a target location, after 1 second it explodes dealing 100/200/300 damage to all enemies hit and increasing all non-true damage they take by 5%/10%/15% for 1/1.5/2 + (1 second per 100 Ability Power)

Inhabit Effect: Seishin’s ally can click on the ball of energy after it’s exploded to pull themselves to its location.

#Lore

Lore 1 - Separation

There are many people in this world, all of them different, some hardly ‘people’ at all. I’m one of those ‘people’.

The Shadow Isles, a place of purest darkness, the place I call home. I cannot tell you how I got there, I cannot tell you how I came to be, but,

I can tell you a story.

It’s not a nice story, but I doubt that matters much.

It begins with the Warden, oh- the Warden, quite the character. He spends all of his time collecting that which he holds most dear, a portion of a person’s whole. Now this Warden, he doesn't wish to posses the entirety of a person’s whole, oh no, he treasures only a small portion of it.

The worst part, in my opinion, is that it isn’t even something physical, its something…

ethereal.

Yes, I do believe that would the best word for it. Ethereal. Now let us introduce the rest of cast, shall we?

The Horse, of course, does not treasure any part of a person’s whole, he merely wishes to end it entirely. He thrives off of the prospect of war. As to how one can waste such a great amount of untapped power, power that could very easily be obtained considering his stance in this world’s affairs, is entirely beyond me.

The Lich is yet another part of this ever-growing cast of mine. He sings the same song day in and day out, “Death is your salvation”, as if they could be saved.

He doesn’t treasure any particular part of a person’s whole, he treasures the separation of a person’s whole. The separation of the physical, and the ethereal.

Now there are plenty of other characters I could mention; the Widow, the Spider, the Armor, but I digress. There is but one more character truly important to this story, and he is different from the rest of us.

Well, two actually, but seeing as how one of them resides within the Warden’s grasp I feel no need to call them by name. After all, the Warden is very sensitive about his collection. Once he has you there is no going back.

He found this out the hard way, and to this day believes that there is to be some way as to undo that which the Warden has done.

It’s a shame, really.

Anyways I do believe that all of the introductions are out of the way and i’ve kept you waiting long enough. Its time to start the main event.

Oh how fun this will be…

A man and a woman, bound in name, to slay the creatures darkness has born.

Only to be undone by those same creatures they sought to destroy;

One lives in the other’s name, continuing to slay all he opposes, in hopes that he may see her again,

The other doesn’t live, yet isn’t dead either; trapped between the lines of life and death by the Warden’s chains. As to if she longs to be with him, I do not know. For can those trapped in such a state truly feel?

Perhaps I should start back a little further.

There are many factions in this world, some warring with one another, some indifferent to the conflict. One particular faction sought to bring light into this world, through the elimination of the dark.

Two particular members of this group were not only pledged to this cause, but also to one another. Together the two set out to do what they thought must be done, and they accomplished their goal.

Mostly.

When the two had heard of place, said to be the birthplace for this world’s darkest creatures, they set off to find and destroy all of it’s offspring.

Now on their way there they encountered various beings from said place; the Horse and his love of war, the Lich and his love of well, death. The various other residents of this black nest may or may not have been encountered by the pair, I do not know nor do I care, but their infamous reputations were.

These encounters only lead the two to become more determined to complete their goal, to purify this taint that plagues the world.

And yet, their downfall has played a rather big part in securing our success, or rather, inflating the egos of those who had already thought rather highly of themselves.

But once again, I digress.

It wasn’t until their encounter with the Warden, when things fell apart, for him.

It was, from what I can gather, a typical night. To seek out and destroy some of this world’s darkness.

However, so few plans truly go as planned. This was one such plan. The two, husband and wife, confronted the Warden.

This alone was a flawed plan, the rest irrelevant. The Warden proved to be a bit more clever than the pair had anticipated.

One never truly appreciates what they have until it is lost.

Now that his partner lies within the Warden’s collection he wishes to destroy the Warden in hopes that she might be freed.

Now I know what you might be thinking, “Exactly what was the purpose of the story?”

Some could argue that there isn’t one.

Theres only one thing that I can see. Many ‘people’ value the wrong things.

The Warden collects, the Deathsinger ‘frees’ and the Horse kills for sport. They all overlook the last part of a person’s whole. The ethereal, the physical, and the mental.

Sure, one could argue that there are more parts to a person but these three are the most apparent. Its the combination of these three that make a person, on their own, worthless.

I do not do that.

I am not blind to what’s lies in front of me, what escapes the twisted minds of common revenants and ghouls.

I do not waste the power held within every living thing on this mortal plane.

I do not intend to separate what binds those that are worlds apart, what defines the differences in their existence.

If you have one but not the other, if you strive to separate them and leave useless without one another, then what is it that you're after?

Excuse me, I may seem rather calm but I must admit I am rather obsessive about my work. The thought of such reckless actions just angers me so. Really its the only thing that angers me.

I do not wish to separate any of those bonds, they hold too much power. To control them, to take the power of other and make it your own, to control all of the people and ‘people’ who inhabit this earth;

That is where true power lies...

Lore 2 - Names

There are very few people in this world who I call by name, a name I should mean to say. I have yet to encounter an individual whose uniqueness prompts anything else.

Surely there's the Warden, Lich, Horse, Spider and so on and so forth. Not their true ‘names’, but merely what they are, for that is all I can see upon any observation.

To warrant something as majorly trivial as to be called by one’s ‘name’, i’m not quite sure as to what someone would have to do to be regarded with such respect.

Well, I do have my criteria for such things but to go from the nameless to named, that i’m not quite sure.

Those who I address with a name, those individuals stand out from rest. To all who remain unnamed, I give no regards.

I apologise if sound a bit egotistical in this explanation, I do not mean to sound as if i’m putting myself higher up in this world that I truly am.

I merely mean to denounce those who attempt to do the same thing.

In logic, any form of logic, to call something by its name that would require it to be different from all others, yes?

That is my point; everyone thinks themselves to be entirely different from one another when that is surely not the case.

Every person and ‘person’ on this earth, they’re all the same.

The same joy.

The same sorrow.

The same greed.

I’ve been within many people and ‘people’, they all share the very same base.

The only thing different is face it takes. Now if I were to only call those from my home by a name then that would make it sound as if all of the ‘persons’ relating to my kind are in some way important to me.

This is not the case.

While my home is home to many of this world's more twisted creatures there are some from other lands who I, remarkably, have some respect for.

Take the Blade for instance. I have yet to encounter any more of his physical kind, there are only five or so, yet he is rather interesting. His black form, lust for war, and aptitude for battle make him stand out just so. In all the three terms, unique.

Now if you find yourself unaware of what those three terms are I shall list them for you;

the physical body, the ethereal soul, and mental integrity.

Those are the three thing I hold people and ‘people’ accountable for. My respect for them is based off of the uniqueness in these three categories.

Another example of this would have to be the Eye, his hunger for knowledge, it peaks my interests. The way his body and soul are formed to perfectly perform his mind’s wishes, to devour all for the sake of the mind, once again it peaks my interests.

I find that I have been rambling on for quite some time now, pardon that by the way, I tend lose track of time rather easily. I believe I have made my point.

But, Before you go,

There is one thing, That you should know,

One individual, A singular individual,

Holds my respect,

Enough to call him by name, Not a ‘name’ as with the others,

But his name,

He holds no ties in this world, But his subjects do,

As to what his name truly is,

I’m not telling you.

Cool concept. I am getting a bit of Nox from Smite vibes. I assume he is meant to be played as a support/tank?

Needs a list of base stats. Almost all of the abilities need more description in regards to their size, range, speed, and targeting indicator. Didn't read the lore, sorry.

Really don't like the overall design. It seems hyper reliant on not only an ally, but one who understands his kit well and almost certainly is in voice chat with the player of this champion. Would be utter trash in low ELO when queued alone if he was even remotely balanced in pro play. The fact that seems like an extremely high skill cap champion makes this even more true. He's also really good at snowballing another player's lead. He's a super enchanter, though more so for tanks or at least melee champions it seems. Would possibly enable juggernauts in bot lane very well, maybe way too well...

Even assuming that wasn't an issue this kit needs extensive explanation about your goals for it. How long should he typically be able to inhabit allies in laning? In team fights? The lack of base stats makes it impossible to even guess. Should/does he have any scalings besides % max hp and hp regen? Are you trying to enable non adcs to go bot lane with him or is that just a potential side effect? Is it intended that he's very reliant on hitting his Q?

It's really hard to get an idea of how he would function in lane without knowing anything about his base stats, especially his basic attacks. I feel that his ideal gameplay likely involves him as a support in bot lane who then actually primarily inhabits and supports a tank, fighter, or maybe assassin once the team groups up.

His long and non scaling E cd seems to imply his choice of ally to inhabit is largely "pick 1 person only in most team fights" (maybe 2 if the cd starts when he enters, not when he exits, enabling him to start a fight in someone at the cost of hp) and that means if it isn't the perfect choice or at all goes poorly it likely means complete disaster for his team. It also means he's likely to build towards 40% cdr asap. Warmog's would likely be built on him 100% of the time as a 2nd item if he can get the hp to turn on its extra healing by then and would be a massive power spike for him. Is that on purpose?
