As always any and all feedback is appreciated, please comment if there's anything in particular that you liked or didn't like (And if you really like it don't forget to give this post an up vote, only if you want to though).

#Table Of Contents

1) Stats 2) Abilities 3) Lore 4) Extras

#1) Stats

|Stat|---|Base Value|---|Per Level|--- |- |Health||511.04 ||+78| |Health Regeneration||6.505||+0.6| |Armor||24.712||+3.4| |Magic Resist||30||+0| |Attack Damage||53.872||+2.9| |Attack Speed||0.625||+2%| |Movement Speed||325|| | |Range||545|| |

#2) Abilities

#Passive: Magnitude 5

Galleria is manaless. Instead her current amount of Intensity is displayed on her resource bar.

Whenever Galleria uses abilities or basic attacks she gains Intensity up to a maximum of 200. For every 40 Intensity Galleria has her Magnitude increases by 1 up to a maximum of 5. Each level of Magnitude provides different effects for Galleria and her abilities.

If Galleria remains out of combat for 6 seconds her Intensity will being to rapidly decay.

Magnitude 1: Galleria’s Ability Power is increased by 0%, The stalagmites from Stalagmite Missile now pierce through enemies

Magnitude 2: Galleria’s Ability Power is increased by 5%, If a boulder collides with a stalagmite the boulder explodes dealing (0.65 Total AP) magic damage to nearby enemies while destroying both the boulder and stalagmite

Magnitude 3: Galleria’s Ability Power is increased by 10% and landing an enemy on a stalagmite with What Goes Up… stuns that enemy for 1.25 seconds

Magnitude 4: Galleria’s Ability Power is increased by 15% and getting a kill or assist resets Gravity Rush’s cooldown

Magnitude 5: Galleria’s Ability Power is increased by 25%

#Q: Stalagmite Rising/Missile Cooldown: 14/13/12/11/10 Charge Time: 10

Every 10 seconds Galleria gains a charge of Stalagmite Rising up to a maximum of 4. All charges of Stalagmite Rising must be used before Stalagmite Missile can be used

Stalagmite Rising: Galleria alters gravity at a target location, summoning a stalagmite from the earth dealing 60/95/130/165/200 + (0.4 Total AP) magic damage to enemies in the area. Once all charges of Stalagmite Rising used then Stalagmite Missile can be activated.

Stalagmite Missile: Galleria pulls all of her stalagmites from the ground and launches them at a target location, each stalagmite deals 30/55/80/105/130 + (0.3 Total AP) magic damage to the first enemy it hits. If an enemy is hit with more than one stalagmite then they take 45% damage.

#W: What Goes Up... Cooldown: 18

Galleria selects an enemy unit and lifts it into the air, after 1.5 seconds the enemy lands and deals 70/110/150/190/230 + (0.55 Total AP) magic damage to itself and enemies near it. Galleria can reactivate What Goes Up… to select the landing area otherwise it will land where it was lifted.

If the enemy unit lands on a stalagmite they take an additional 50/70/90/110/130 + (0.6 Total AP) magic damage

#E: Rock and Roll Cooldown: 18/17/16/15/14

Galleria pulls a boulder out of the ground, knocking enemies into the air for 0.75 seconds. The boulder remains airborne for 6 seconds.

During this time Galleria can reactivate Rock and Roll to leap to the boulder and force it in a target direction dealing 80/110/140/170/200 + (0.65 Total AP) magic damage and knocking aside all enemies hit. Galleria remains on the boulder, moving with it.

While the boulder is out of the ground it blocks enemy projectiles. If the boulder collides with terrain, a stalagmite, or reaches the end of it’s range it is destroyed.

#R: Gravity Rush Cooldown: 22/20/18

Galleria propels herself into the air and files in a target direction dealing 110/160/210 + (0.55 Total AP) magic damage.

If Galleria comes into contact with terrain or a boulder she will stick to it and can immediately cast Gravity Rush again. If Galleria uses Gravity Rush to jump from a boulder that is moving Galleria’s leap intensifies the boulder’s propulsion, causing it to gain 20% increased speed, range, and damage.

Gravity Rush deals 35% less damage for each cast from terrain.

#3) Lore

The Void is called the Void for a reason. The Void is a dark place filled with twisted and unusual creatures. It isn’t a place anyone from Runeterra would want to call home.

Well… there are a few who would but they aren’t exactly in the right state of mind…

Many believe that the Void seeks to consume Runeterra, to destroy and eat all that we hold dear. But is that truly the case?

Without ever having been to the void, without ever setting foot on our “enemy’s” homeland, can we truly say that all of the Void wishes for our demise?

I wouldn’t, I can’t. My inner curiosity prevents me from doing so. Whether it be my analytic state of mind or skeptic nature, without any physical proof I cannot believe this to be true.

Even after my encounter with Tor’Koz I cannot believe in the Void’s apparent ‘gluttony’.

Allow me to explain, ever since I was young I have loved learning. I have always taken pride in my intelligence. So when I first had heard of the Void naturally I began my investigation.

An investigation that i’m still working on, even after all of these years.

I have attended meetings of groups who worship the Void, only in vain. So where more legitimate than others but in the end I had gathered no information.

While I knew of his existence I had been avoiding Malzahar, but I was at a lose for information. So as a ‘last’ resort I confronted him.

He was certain in the Void’s power and it’s consumption of Runeterra, however, as to if all beings from the Void shared this trait was unknown. He looked over my research and invited to join his cult. I agreed so long as I would never be mentioned by my real name, hence my current alias ‘Galleria’.

Originally I was to be call ‘Gala’ but Tor’Koz insisted on ‘Galleria’ for reasons still unknown. Perhaps he just likes the name?

I’m getting ahead of myself, when it looked like my research was at an end, Malzahar had dubbed me as useless and that I was no longer needed for the cult. I knew from the start what I was getting into, in fact I was surprised that this hadn’t happened sooner.

I was to be sacrificed to the Void in a similar fashion to Kassadin’s daughter.

My time in the Void was strange and I can’t recall most of it. I do recall the end of my little visit however. A young resident of the void named Tor’Koz grew attached to me, he cared for me while I was there.

When others discovered my presence in their home they sought to ‘eliminate the intruder’. So Tor’Koz rescued me and managed to find a tear back to Runeterra, injuring himself in the process.

I never returned his affection but I did care for him, he was my friend. The wounds he sustained from the escape were too much, he was dieing and there was no way around it.

From what Tor’Koz told me the Koz are a subspecies of Void creatures who are very cerebral in nature. He liked my mind, my way of thinking. He wanted to answer all of my questions but didn't have the time.

He gave me his life, his mind, his magic, his being. Now I strive to learn more of the Void and to understand the powers Tor’Koz has given to me.

“What goes up, must come down, unless I say otherwise.” - Galleria, The Gravity Queen

#4) Extras

Skins Battlecast Galleria: Instead of stalagmites and boulders she has twisted metal spikes and metallic spheres, and of course all of her particles would be red. Justicar Galleria: Since so many people instantly compare Galleria and Syndra (for very valid reasons) I feel like this would be very fitting. (That and I think it would look really cool) Popstar Galleria: This may be confusing at first but look at it this way, instead of stalagmites she summons speakers and for her boulder she has a disco ball, yes i'm being serious.

seems like a (higher utility, manaless) syndra

meohmichael1/12/2015, 8:21:11 PM1 votes

Her W is almost exactly the same as Syndra's Force of Will, actually. Except instead of minions, it can be cast on champions.

At first, I was thinking it could be a very cool mechanic. And it still could be, with a little more thought. The idea is the same as Syndra's, in the fact that she can pick something up and put it back where she pleases.

Overall, though, I think the gravity theme/intensity mechanic could work out well. I like it.

I once thought about creating a gravity champ, but i stopped because it wasn't going well, so i would very much to help with this one. There are many ways to go about implementing the theme of gravity into a champion and i think that you have done a great job. I would like to say though that a champions iconic ability does not always have to be the ultimate.

The feeling I get from this concept is that for such a straight out concept, it's pretty all over the place.

First of all, the connection between her lore and her theme/abilities is pretty much none-existant. She's all about gravity and earth related things, but her lore is only about except void-related things. The things about the void itself is also a bit too "headcanony" (aka. you've made up too much information about something that we're not supposed to know much about. As far as we know, the things in this lore could strictly go against what the actual canon is meant to be).

Being manaless for a mage like this could prove very problematic. What is there to limit her from just spamming all her abilities and completely bullying out any opponent with no tradeoffs?

Her E and R also inclines that she's an "in-your-face" type of mage like Lissandra, but unlike Lissandra, she has no durability that would make her survive for more than a few seconds while playing like this. The projectile block on the E also doesn't synergize with the other use cases of the ability in any way and really have no place on a kit like this anyways. I'd say just remove that mechanic.

And finally, there's the W which is pretty much only a Syndra W but better in every way (except a few very rare occasions).

Right now, I'd say this is a concept with potential but still need some work.

Pertaining to you previous response to me: K' Pertaining to your newest response, she could just be a really powerful mage who obtained inspiration to form her current powers out of her love and respect for studying astronomy.

FlameHalbrdOkido1/14/2015, 1:51:17 AM1 votes

If your an Astronomist, gravity is an important thing to study. Take the search for new planets that humanity could possibly inhabit in case we mess up Earth too much, (we prob already have). Gravity is an important thing to know about planets, we couldn't every live on a solid planet the size of Jupiter (even if that means more room for a bigger population) because bigger planets have a gravity that would make it almost impossible to walk, it would crush out spines, and vise versa for a small planet. There's also the study of how different planets' gravitational fields have on each other in astronomy, like the how they found a planet that had a moon with a moon, think about how the gravity fields worked with that dynamic? There also the study of how our planet and other planets' gravity in certain areas can shift becoming more in some areas and less in others, based on the shift of masses and minerals under the ground: Its how Astronomist propose to solve the drought problem in the West if the United States, they can locate water underground by measuring the gravity of areas of the earth with satellites, because water shifts around and it weighs a lot. People studying astronomy can explain why comets and meteors are pulled toward earth and why they will eventually crash into it. A person can explain how the moons gravitational field effects our ocean tides, by pulling on them, and moving them around. Why the earth is able to retain the moon in orbit but is still slowly losing it to centrifugal force. Why a planet rotates around two sun's gravitational fields in a figure 8 (im not lying i swear it real, please look it up its really amazing). A person studying astronomy will undoubtedly dabble with information about black holes at some point, which has everything to do with gravity. An astronomist will tell you the reason the earth was even created was because asteroids collided with each other and stuck together because of their gravity drawing them together. How things expand in the universe due to a lack of gravity, how other things contract due to an abundance of gravity. Issac Newton a was a very famous astronomer, and im sure i dont have to tell you what he is so well known for (even though he stole the fame and the idea from another astronomer). An astronomer can explain that the only reason any order exist in this world, and why our solar system can even exist in equilibrium is because of the balance of gravity. How certain materials natural density means that it will cause certain areas on other planets to have a greater gravitational field I those areas and vise versa for materials with less density. An astronomer can tell you how large and object is space has to be before it developes a gravitational field strong enough to pull other objects in. Simply put an astronomer can explain gravity better than almost any other type of scientist.

But if you dont like astronomy, you could always think about a geologist, but i got a more spacy feeling from her, (less down to earth really), which is why i said astronomy There are so many other things that i could talk about, how astronomy has a lot to do with gravity, but I think this wall of text has generated its own gravitational field, so ill stop before it collapses in on it self.

Sorry about the lateness, been busy :(

Before my points, it would be nice to have base stats as a guideline to go off, as they usually affect each other in rather big ways.

  • Might want to make it just a bit clearer on the passive: do the ability effects work like dragon buff, or is each only active at each magnitude?

  • The W impaling the enemy on a stalagmite is cool, but I would pay attention to how easy it is to do this, so balance the numbers to match this.

  • I REALLY love how you have to be mindful of Q placement so it doesn't (or want to) block the E.

  • The ultimate passive is unnecessary imo, I don't think she really needs more bonus stats after her passive.

Overall the concept has some good synergy with itself, even if some of it seems forced. I would try and thicken the post a bit more for the contest, because there aren't a whole lot of extras.

######I really love the quote!

Having recently made my own gravity-themed champion concept, I decided to take a look at others' ideas to see what kind of variations there are.

Almost nothing is the same. I'm shocked at how massively different every one of them is from each other. The biggest similarity is that the majority are mages or tanks. Beyond that, there's no telling what might be in a gravity kit.

My personal favorite parts of your kit would definitely be Q and E. W is too similar to Syndra, but Q is different enough (barely) to maintain its own identity as a focused AOE damage threat and zoning ability. E is a very interesting mix of a number of mechanics. Projectile blocking combined with mobility potential and two instances of hard CC, this seems to me like it should be her ult.

In any case, I'm also looking for feedback for my idea, if you're willing to take a look at it: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/skin-champion-concepts/K7Vb1Qh7-champion-concept-gravity-manipulator-kit-only-no-numbers-and-i-cant-think-of-a-name

I believe I got very low visibility due to the extremely unfinished nature of the original kit I posted, which has almost entirely changed since then. Now it just needs a good name, and I'll be all set.
