Need some feedback regarding my Dancer Support Champion's kit
I've been working on Freesia for a while, but I've hit a bit of a stump at the moment. Looking at what Bard is going to be capable of makes me again feel like I'm just not adding enough "oomph" to the kit, or that I'm not making skills that are totally appropriate for the design.
For instance, Freesia's E skill. It's basically a modified variant of Nocturne's E that causes a stun (makes her target dance) instead of fear, doesn't do as much damage, and doesn't have the MS bonus towards feared targets. It was acceptable before, but now it feels... lacking.
Then there's her ultimate, which is purely a self-preservation tool and doesn't give her an awesome utility-type ultimate like Nami, Janna, or Bard. Freesia's ult purges CC's on her at the time of casting (like Alistar's ultimate), gives her a powerful shield, and gives her a short-lived but powerful movement speed bonus. It also has a passive that ties into her mobility, but that's unimportant; the subject at hand is how the active feels like it fits more on a fighter or tank than on a support.
To put Freesia in context, she's meant to be an extremely mobile, but short-ranged support who darts around in fights, controlling enemy movement and helping out allies by giving them speed, combat heals, and crowd-controlling enemies. She cannot poke or harass; she has to make dives and power plays to do anything, but is meant to be very good at it.
Anybody out there think they could offer some of their insight?
