(Champion Concept) Envriél, The Shifty Snowmad
A deceptive melee tank who will leave her opponents constantly second guessing their decisions until it’s too late, Envriél is a money loving sleazeball who will eagerly lie, cheat, and steal her way to victory.

P: Pickpocket All enemy champions gain a stack of loose change every 30 seconds, stacking infinitely. Damaging an enemy with a basic attack, Sleight of Hand, or Blizzard of Knives will consume a stack to steal 5 gold coins from them, and will cause a magic coin to drop somewhere close by. Either Envriél or the champion she stole from can pick up the coin to gain 5 gold, but if Envriél picks it up then she gains 50% movement speed that decays over 2 seconds. If an enemy champion dies near Envriél then they will leave behind a pack that she can attack to pilfer coins from just as if that champion were alive. Lasts until they respawn.
Q: Liars Brew, mana cost 40, cooldown 6. Envriél lobs a magical cocktail at the target location, drenching enemies hit with a Layer of Deception for the next 10 seconds, and creating a puddle for 4 seconds that slows enemies standing in it by 20/25/30/35/40%. If an enemy is hit again then another layer is added up to a max of 5, and the duration is reset.
Layer of Deception, targets take 5/10/15/20/25 +12/14/16/18/20% AP additional magic damage from Envriél’s basic attacks per stack on them, and when moving towards an enemy champion Envriél moves 5% faster per stack on them.
W: Sleight of Hand, mana cost 50/55/60/65/70, cooldown 9. Envriél rapidly spins her hidden blades 3 times dealing 20/35/50/65/80 +20% AP magic damage per hit to all nearby enemies. The first hit an enemy takes stuns them for 1.5 seconds while all subsequent hits slow them by 20% for 1 second. Envriél will also collect any pilfered coins nearby.
E: Coat Wrack, mana cost 70, cooldown 25/22/19/16/13. Passive: While Coat Wrack is off cooldown enemy champions cannot see how much health or mana Envriél has left, and she gains +12/14/16/18/20% more resistances.
Active: Envriél slips out of her coat clearing all CC currently affecting her while momentarily becoming invisible and untargetable as she dashes in the target direction. This leaves an empty coat on the ground where she jumped from that lasts for 5 minutes or until stepped on by an enemy champion for 2 seconds. If Envriél picks up the empty coat then Coat Wracks cooldown is fully reset and picking up further empty coats will only reset the cooldown by 70% for the next 10 seconds. Max 3 empty coats on the map at once.
R: Bag of Tricks, mana cost 100, cooldown 40. Envriél enhances her next spell to be more powerful. Disabling Bag of Tricks without using a spell will reset its cooldown, and mana cost.
RQ: Muggers Bomb, mana cost 40, cooldown 120/100/80. Liars Brew now explodes on impact dealing 100/200/300 +10/20/30% of the targets missing health as magic damage while applying 3 Layers of Deception instead of 1.
RW: Blizzard of Knives, mana cost 50/55/60/65/70, cooldown 180/160/140. Sleight of Hand now has an increased radius, strikes 10/15/20 times instead of 3, and Envriél can attack or cast spells during the cast time. After taking 3 hits enemies will only be dealt 25 +10% AP magic damage from all subsequent hits.
RE: Long Con, mana cost 70, cooldown 240/220/200. Instead of an empty coat, Coat Wrack leaves behind an uncontrollable decoy of Envriél that moves down the nearest lane. This decoy has only 20/35/50% of her current HP, does not cast spells, and deals 70% reduced damage to none minions. The invisibility portion of the spell is also extended to 3 seconds after the dash, and Envriél gains 40/70/100% movement speed that lasts until she is spotted by the enemy team or until her decoy is killed.
Envriél is not the tankiest of tanks, and although her CC is decent it’s not the greatest. Instead she relies mostly on her deceptive nature to trick and outplay her opponents.
In lane Envriél likes to hang back a bit, lobbing Liars Brew whenever she can until her opponent has enough Layers of Deception on them for her to go for an all in. But all her enemy has to do to negate her would be advantage is dodge 1 Q and wait for the duration to time out. This leads to an intense “will she, won't she” Mind game that can distract from all the other shenanigans Envriél gets up to. Something to keep in mind is that despite its rather long range, Liars Brew does not have a fixed air time. So you still want to get as close as possible to make the skillshot easier to land.
Envriél deals almost no damage unless she gets up close, and being a tank she isn’t always the highest priority target for the enemy team in a team fight. But if she is allowed to get next to a few people then she can bring some disruptive CC with careful use of her W Sleight of Hand.
Most of what makes Envriél “Envriél” is her E Coat Wrack. Enemies not knowing how much health she has is a huge advantage, so even though the active portion of the ability is so strong it is sometimes best to hold on to it, and not show the enemy your cards. But if you are willing to give up some defenses, then Coat Wrack can be an amazing engage or an even more amazing escape. If you want to get really tricky then you can set up empty coats in advance for some truly mind wracking plays. Just be sure that no one is around to see your HP after setting your coat down in a bush.
Also something to note, although enemies can’t see how much current health Envriél has, they can still see her max HP. As well as the health of any shields on her, and how much damage or healing she has received in a short amount of time. To enemies her disguised HP bar would look something like this. http://i.imgur.com/KCy1GdZ.png Or this if she was just healed and shielded after taking some damage. But the red and green would fade away real quick. http://i.imgur.com/h9ZEz6B.png
One of her core strengths is roaming and due to the way her passive works she will want to roam a lot to get her team a solid gold advantage. When ganking, Envriél has to give up a lot of her damage potential as she won’t have time to stack a bunch of Liars Brews. Instead she will mostly rely on her friends to follow up on her CC. Sometimes she doesn’t even need a kill at all, and merely showing up to steal some coins is enough.
And finally there is her ult. Bag of Tricks has many uses, but she can’t keep picking the same trick over and over again. Any one of her 3 ults would have an absurdly long cooldown for what is does, but Envriél can rotate through them to pull out a powerful spell almost every fight.
Will she pull a fast one on her lane opponent and speed roam to a nearby lane with Long Con? Jump into a teamfight and cause an uproar with Blizzard of Knives? Maybe just spring some unexpected damage on someone with Muggers Bomb. With Envriél, you just don’t know what she is hiding up her baggy sleeves.
