[Champion Concept] Yudoku, the Malevolent Spirit

Most of the stuff here is going to be... unfinished. I just had some great ideas for a caster that utilizes darkness as their weapons (not the Void). This is mainly about the skills, not the looks or lore. I'm only providing a little of of the visuals to give you an idea of how the skills could be.There are some numbers that can be adjusted if needed, and other effects removed, added, or completely changed. Feedback is appreciated!

(Lore has yet to be implemented)

Yudoku, the Malevolent Spirit

A male who wears a long black robe with white outlines on the outfit, and zipper (goes all the way from the collar to the bottom of the robe). Think of the Akatsuki robes, it's similar. They have a white mask on with dark trapezoid eye holes on it. Under the eyes, there are slits in the mask, two on each side. There are long sleeves on the robe that conceal Yudoku's arms. Yudoku wields the power of shadows at his command, and can make them shape shift at his will.

  • Passive is a little random, could use some new way of gaining stacks. Suggestions?

Umbral Deceit

Passive: Yudoku grows stronger in the shadows. Gain 5 stacks of Umber each second while in a bush (max 100). At 50 stacks, the next basic ability that damages an enemy champion will steal a portion of their soul, healing Yudoku by 15% of the damage dealt. At 100 stacks, the next basic ability that damages an enemy champion will curse them for 5 seconds. Cursed champions take 30/60/90 (+30% AP) magic damage each time they cast a spell while under this effect.

Yudoku loses all stacks on death. Yudoku cannot gain stacks of Umber for 2 seconds after using an ability.

  • Damaging more than one champion while you have 50 stacks will heal 15% of the total damage dealt, healing from all champions hit.
  • At 100 stacks, you will gain the 50 stack effect also, but you will not heal off of damage from the Curse debuff.

Umbral Vengeance

Mana: 60/65/70/75/80 ----------------------------------- Cooldown: 9/8.5/8/7.5/7 ----------------------------------- Range: 950 -----------------------------------** Type**: Skillshot **Q: **Two tendrils of darkness twist out of Yudoku's sleeves, dealing 60/95/130/165/200 (+50% AP) magic damage from each hit. If an enemy is hit by both tendrils, the second one deals 50% damage (max damage: 90/142/195/247/300 [+75 AP%]). Any enemy champion hit at the end of the skill is rooted for 1 second.

Umbral Deceit: Consumes all stacks when activated. Lowers Cooldown of this ability by (stacks x 0.04) seconds. If 100 stacks are consumed, the tendrils are thickened, closing the gap in the center of the skill, and the snare is increased to 1.5 seconds.

  • The skillshot is shaped like a DNA helix (without the connecting lines in the middle, of course), and the tendrils connect at the end.
  • At 100 stacks, the skill will be a DNA helix that is filled in completely, ensuring full damage from the ability.

Umbral Barrier

Mana: 70 ------------------------------ Cooldown: 22/20/18/16/14 ------------------------------ Range: 200 ------------------------------** Type**: Skillshot ------------------------------ Width: 350 W: Forms a wall of shadows for 1.5 seconds in front of Yudoku. Any enemy champion projectile that hits the wall is reflected back the same distance that it had traveled. The reflected projectile deals 30%/35%/40%/45%/50% bonus damage to enemy champions, minions, or monsters hit. Enemies that pass through the wall take 80/115/150/185/205 (+65% AP) magic damage. Each enemy can only be damaged once while the wall is active.

Umbral Deceit: Consumes all stacks when activated. Increases the duration of the wall by (stacks x 0.04) seconds. If 100 stacks are consumed, the wall's width is increased to 450, and the reflected damage becomes 60%/70%/80%/90%/100% bonus damage.

  • The wall is curved slightly at the ends.
  • Projectiles will be reflected at the same speed that they were cast at.
  • If a projectile only traveled 400 units before hitting the wall, then it will travel 400 units after hitting the wall. If a global skillshot is reflected, then it will travel until it hits an appropriate target or goes off the map.
  • Projectiles will be reflected off the wall like a normal ricochet effect. If it hits the wall straight on from the front, then the projectile will reflect back at where it came from. If it hits the wall from the side where it curves, then it will reflect back to wherever the appropriate area would be.

Umbral Volley

Mana: 70/75/80/85/90 -------------------- Cooldown: 14/13/12/11/10 (starts after 1.5 seconds) ------------------- Range: 700 (90° cone) -------------------** Type**: Skillshot E: Yudoku prepares Umbral spikes behind him. After 1.5 seconds, the spikes shoot out from the original cast point in a 90° cone, dealing more damage the closer you are to the spikes origin point. Minimum damage is 70/100/130/160/190 (+60% AP) magic damage, and the maximum damage is 115/165/214/264/313 (+100% AP). Deals 70% damage to minions. All enemies hit are slowed by 25% that decays over 1 second.

Umbral Deceit: Consumes all stacks when activated. Decreases the delay of the skill by (stacks x 0.015) seconds. If 100 stacks are consumed, the slow is increased to 50%, and the range is increased to 900.

  • The cone is more like an hourglass, with the half closer to the origin point much smaller than the far end of the skill.
  • Enemies hit in the small part of the hourglass take the max damage, while enemies hit by the large part take the minimum damage.
  • The spikes will appear behind where you cast it, and float in the air until the delay time is up.
  • The skill will go in the direction your cursor was in when you cast it (it will not turn your champion when you activate the skill).
  • At 100 stacks, there will be no delay for the skill.

Umbral Abyss

Mana: 100 -------------------- Cooldown: 160/140/120 ------------------- Range: 2000 (250 radius) -------------------** Type**: Skillshot R: Summons a black hole of pure darkness at the target location after 1 second. All enemy champions within 200 range of the skill are slowed by 20% and pulled towards the center. Enemies inside the hole have their vision reduced to 750. After 3 seconds, the black hole explodes, dealing 200/275/350 (+60% AP) magic damage to all enemies inside of it.

Umbral Deceit: Consumes all stacks when activated. Increases the base damage of this skill by (stacks x 1). If 100 stacks are consumed, up to 5 shadowy hands will randomly reach out 400 units from the edge of the dark hole while it's active, and pull in and stun any enemy champion it touches.

  • There is a warning area at the location of the skill 1 second before the black hole appears.
  • Pulled in champions are considered rooted, but are pulled in to the center of the skill at their current movement speed.
  • Enemy champions who are in the black hole cannot move, but can still cast spells.
  • Cleanse/QSS will not help. The root and slow are applied every half second while in the black hole.
  • Enemies will be pulled in if they are at least 200 range outside the edge of the skill.
  • The hands that appear will pull enemies all the way to the center of the skill, and remain stunned until they are AT the center.
  • Hands will pull enemies who are at least 400 range outside the skill, but the 200 range pull still exists. It just pulls enemies through it.

This champion would probably be a Mage, but because of the low ratios and high utility, maybe a Support. The champion revolves around locking their enemy down in order to land their odd/tough skillshots on them to deal maximum damage. The champion lacks mobility, high ratios, and is weak against any champion who can all-in Yudoku. Assassins would be the main weakness of this champ. Yudoku doesn't have a very good way to peel enemies off of himself, and would die instantly due to his squishy nature. High mana costs also keep Yudoku in check by balancing out the high base damage on his skills.

What do you think about this champions? Suggestions?

UP, OP, Balanced, useless?

Let me know :D

Oh wait my bad. More of a Galio ult. I said Xerath since his q is 75% ap Scaling. Viktor and Kassadin because kass e is 80 or 90 degrees and Viktor W pulls to center. Will qss remove the ult?
