[Gameplay] Mordekaiser E is not actually 675 range in-game like it was listed

From here, Mordekaiser's E range was listed as 675, and hasn't been changed since. However, his E has NEVER felt like it was at 675 range, more like 500 or so.

I just went and tested this against a Cait to see the range difference. My E cone is at "675" range and where she is standing is her auto attack range (650). Now that doesn't really look right. It's not an indicator bug either, my E doesn't hit her from there.

Any chance that we could get an actual buff to his E range to match what he was supposed to have originally (since his rework)? Now, I don't think he needs buffs right now, more like a rework, but it's a little misleading when it's listed as something different than what it actually has been in-game.

Just wanted to point out that Autoattack range is calculated differently from ability range.

Ability range for skillshots is calculated from the center of your champion to the edge of enemies' hitbox.

Autoattack range is calculated from the edge of your champion hitbox to the edge of enemies' hitbox.

Generally, that means that autoattack range is higher than ability range even with the same value (depends on your champion hitbox, the least is 100 units for targeted abilities and 50 units for skillshots, I believe).

To give you an example, a Teemo using Q: Blinding Dart (Range: 680 units) on another Teemo, can use it from 70 units farther than he can Autoattack (Range 500) from. That means Autoattack has 110 range more than you'd expect. And yes, he can't outrange Cait AAs with his Q either.

In short - never compare ability range to autoattack range.

PS. Interesting question tho... Does Teemo Q (680) outrange Mordekaiser E (675)? If you check that we will know how it's calculated. :P

Its always felt wrong to not be able to E back when you get auto attacked by ADC's as Morde and now it turns out that according to the numbers it was never supposed to be this way. Morde is borderline broken and not in need of such a massive buff but I think his E SHOULD be long enough to reach ranged champions and mages when they try to poke him. If there is some way to find a compromise where his E can actually be 650 or 675 without making him overpowered it would bring new life to the champion and honestly just feel so good to be able to interact with ranged opponents.

when i play mord i was see my e hit out of its hitbox. not as far as cait thou it some where between her and the hit box so it does need a fix
