Skins are treats, not special privileges. I understand people wanting skins, that's fine, I understand people wanting skins that go to target audiences. Keep in mind, getting skins is not a privilege, it's a gift. Many of the skins now are not targeted to certain audiences.

While a bit of a pointless example, one female champ probably has more porn content created for it than that of every male champion combined. Similarly, female champions are much more likely to have "fap worthy" skins than male champions. This isn't a discussion about his post being hateful or bigoted, it's the fact that he felt the need to defend himself at all. Ok, legit, when you're in shape people will think you look hot(for the most part). Are some characters over sexualized? Yes. But many are just girls being in shape, right, I mean I'm sorry they didn't make a female equivalent of Gragas, but that wouldn't appeal to (most members of)their audience. Like, other than hitting her face with 200 bats, it's hard to make an in shape girl look ugly imo, and it's their choice whether they want to add a 1,000 pounder to the game. The negative thing about that, though, is that most their audience wouldn't like it, only ones with that certain fetish would, everyone else would dislike it. Because at that point you're just appealing to one's personal fetish, which is hard to also make others like.
Also, yes the "make guys look tough and cool." is pointed towards men. But if not that then what else do the majority of girls like? Things as general as that can have a wide sphere of influence. Whereas the aforementioned 1,000 pound girl would have a much smaller one. An out of shape guy (take Gragas or Urgot kappa) fit in because people find it funny, as Gragas specifically is playing on a stereotype, which is funny to many.
If you make a girl character playing off a stereotype you have a much better chance of blow back than with guys. Also, just historically, all the random people have predominantly been guys. Take many of the non-human characters from league, Diablo, etc.(don't feel like searching for more). So it is much more common to put guys in filler positions, because they're common in filler positions. When you put a girl people notice, they are generally cared for more. If you stick a field of weird guys in and then a girl that many can easily find attractive they will be noticed.
Also, think about this, a girl Sion. The lack of clothing makes him more menacing, right. So when you try and do that with a girl (the transformation) you either A.get a weird cloth thing around her chest, or B. get huge blow-back from the community about nudity.
Although I'd rather not get into sexual debates that seems to be the course of this thread.
On a side note, just running through champions (with base splashes) there are not a whole ton that just go directly go into the "tough and cool" group.
As for user content... there's probably more ahri porn online than non-sexual and sexual artwork for all the guy characters combined.
Ok, just don't even try to bring that shit into this, I'll go ahead and stop that here. People are people, they take things different ways and do different things with that. Guys are animals, everyone knows that(even me, a guy). Don't take a byproduct of the companies' creations as their actual creations.

I didn't so much feel left out, as I realized that I was included. Or maybe I should say I didn't feel rejected left out is passive, and since I wasn't specifically included, you could argue I was left out. But I consider myself classy (-->included). That aside, upon realizing I was included, it struck me that there was little reason to put the specifiers in the post. The artwork appealed to a massive audience, of all genders, and gender associations. I therefore questioned why it was necessary to limit the audience. (I meant nothing extra by it, I suspect the comment was due to natural reflex, and not a matter of purposeful inclusion or exclusion, but I noted that it inherently limited the intended audience, while the actual audience was much larger.) I did wonder why the first two were gender classifications and the last one was a vague classifier, but I suspected that it was intended to be more inclusive. The entire statement simply struck me as a little strange. And therefore I expressed that.
Sure, it's not needed, but it's not harmful either. If anything it makes gay people/women feel a bit more included. So why was he bothered enough by the OP to feel the need to point that out? Well, you know my conclusion. Maybe I'm wrong though and he just loves pointing out redundant information.
I do not believe what I said was redundant. I also never claimed it was harmful. Maybe limiting, but not harmful. That is part of why I am taking a more active part in defending myself; by no means was harm of any sort a feature of my comment. At least not intentionally. As to why I felt I needed to point it out, it wasn't a need, more 'reason enough.' I expressed that reason in the above statements. Hopefully this reply clears up my intentions finally, though there really isn't anything further for me to say if you aren't satisfied with my clarified intentions.
