Petition to have a large scale Noxus event with the Noxus update

I'd like to start by giving you my most sincere thanks for choosing Swain for the next update. The decision is a blessing to his fanbase and quite clever, as it will send flocks of adorers your way. Old fans have been waiting for this for upwards of five years. New fans have grown to anticipate it.

Now, with a risk of sounding too greedy:

It's been too long. Not had proper Noxus since Sion. A bunch of lores won't quench our thirst. A bunch of lores and a story will be like a teacup of water after a week-long drought. We need... more. Stories, events, plot twists, skins, development, music, gamemodes. Like the VS event but cooler, because it impacts the world in a very real and organic way.

Zaun did get a lore update though. Sadly it didn't include updates to Twitch and Singed due to time constraints, but the rest of the Zaunites made it in at least

I know and I think we all expect the same for Noxus with Swain. But OP is asking for a bigger event here including missions and skins, etc. ^^

I guess the difference is that Riot hadn't yet released the Missions system when Zaun, Piltover, and Demacia got their lore updates. Though I'll admit I will be a tad jealous if they release a Noxus-themed skin line for the Noxian event and not for Demacia.

Well, Urgot is still coming next and we already have missions. ^^ Would just be sad if Noxus gets that large scale event and all the regions before didn't.

I don't really care for Noxus, my heart completely belongs to Zaun and Piltover and I would be really disappointed if other regions get that attention while my favorite places didn't.

Especially with the newly introduced chemtech skin for Tryndamere. Would have been great to get a complete skin line to celebrate Urgots rework.

Do you refer to the Assassin roster update? O.o These never come with lore updates. That would be like saying "why didn't Sejuani get a lore update after the tank reworks?".

Like I said above, of course we all expect Noxus to get lore updates with the release of Swain. That's not what I am talking about.

OP is asking for a "large scale event", including missions, skins, game modes, etc. Zaun got a lore update with the release of Warwicks rework, but didn't get such a large event with it. No missions, no skins, no game modes. All we got were bios, stories and a summoner icon (which is awesome btw).

I expect exactly the same to happen with Noxus. We get a Noxus icon, bios and stories for Noxian champions. But if Swains release includes new Noxus themed skins, game modes and missions, I will think it is kinda unfair for the other regions (Piltover, Zaun and Demacia). Because why should Noxus get so much more attention than these?

Well, Bilgewater had an event when they updated gp (or an event for updating gp), also freljord had an event with icons and you could join avarosans or the other freljord factions. So it would not be like giving only Noxus preference, if anything it should give us hope that eventually every region could get an event.

Still would feel bad if Zaun just got overlooked then, especially since that region had 2 reworks close to each other with Warwick and Urgot and both even share a chemtech theme.

It would feel like favoritism to me.

To be honest, I don't think you have to petition for that. I think it's a given.

I mean, post away, let's tell them we want it, just there's clear communication. I think they already know, though :)

This is probably very unlikely, but I'm hoping that we get more than just a Noxus lore update and event for Swain's VGU. Maybe some additional content, like Noxian-themed items? Skins making other champions into Noxians? A Vladimir VU?

I'll tel you what, if Narrative would flesh out Boram Darkwill into an interesting; perhaps arrogant; definitely flawed and maybe even a tragic figure. Than I could see that heightening the the Empire's mythology even more. So long as he's treated somewhat fairly like any of the other champions receiving LUs, then I'll be over the moon.

Don't get me wrong, I'm more eager to learn about the Noxians who are actually apart of the game. I just feel like Boram is greatly under appreciated despite his significance on the lore as it is. Without his actions there is no undead juggernaut, no invasion of Ionia, no Swain or Darius, perhaps no conquest of neighboring cities. Regardless Boram has done more things in universe than many champs have yet to do and he's not even a playable character!

We need Black Rose skins. Black Rose Vladimir: Dark crimison in colour. Q has very very thorn like apperance where thorns of blood go through targets body. R surrounds everybody affected in pettals instead of nornal mark. And W has perhaps rose vines on everybody who is damaged by it. BR LB: Rose in her hand and perhaps a crown adored with Black Roses.Or scimitar with Black Roses. BR Elise: Spiderlings and spider form have rose on their back. E surrounds stuned target in vines. When she goes invincible there is a huge Black Rose mark. She should have petals adorned clothes and perhaps or thorns. BR Swain. His Beatrice now carries a rose in her beak. Actualy since he is getting FVGU I think there is no point in writing abbilities since they are getging replaced anyways.

Wouldn't say no, but I'm really hoping for a Zaun update when they finally get around to giving Singed and DrMundo their long overdue vgus.

But, that's just because I love Zaun and Piltover.

What did they show us about Zaun from WW's release? That it was a shit hole? We knew that. That crime was common? We knew that, too. That it was steampunk? Great.

We still don't know much. All we know is that it's a steampunk shit hole where crime runs rampant, that has been a primary source of Piltover's success.

Cam's release told us more about Piltover than it did Zaun.

Lastly, what's wrong with Zac's lore? lol It's better than what they came up with for Mundo.

1.) Some people don't like the idea of dead parents (even though their death showed the greatest defining trait for Zac: his humanity)

2.) Mundo's lore was brilliant on the grounds that he's a "gag" character. Imagine if they made that super goofy lug a dark and serious person in lore while STILL being that goofy. Yeah, no. I mean, sure, Sion went deadass serious, but at least he changed fully for that. The disconnect isn't THAT huge.

I kinda disagree. I remember reading both the Piltover LU then the Zaun LU. And summarized that we learned more about the history of Zaun through the tid bits of lore in the Plitover update rather then through the Zaun update itself. Eventually I concluded that we didn't need the Zaun LU to learn about Zaun necessarily, as the Twin cities are so integral that to learn the history of one is to know the history of the other. And I think Piltover did that perfectly for Zaun, while the Zaun update itself took the opportunity to tell an unexpected story, establishing a very different perspective then we would assume it to typically be Zaun. Im talking about "City of Iron and Glass" which felt very reminiscent to a Charles Dickens story if you ask me, with its focus on children and their perspective on society. Regardless its all very interesting lore in an otherwise one-dimensional city of Grim Dark chemical punk.

Come on piltover VS. Zaun would be better. There's nothing truly interesting about Noxus. It's literally just the bad guy in the lore.

Anyways, I'm just dying for any sort of event, so I guess it'd be fun.

Like, a lot of characters were/are far worse and got released earlier than him.

yep, Noxus feels so left out, I thought we would have some Noxus lore update for the assassins rework since 3 out of 4 reworked assasins were noxians, and was very disapointed when that never happened

To be honest... it's a bad idea. Why? We all know that Riot needs a LOOOOOOOOOOOOT of time to prepare Something (like an event) in a way that it turns out to be good. The previous events were far too close to each other in time and we see clearly the effect that it has: their overrall quality is going DOWNHILL So yeah, if you want a quality-made event, wait at least 3-4 other months
