Why did Riot remove it? It was my favorite part of the new champ select, it added so much atmosphere and it helped know the comps while tabbed out.
It was legitimately awesome.

Plus, it wasn't even mentioned in the patch notes or any PBE builds that this was going to be done, much less explained as to why.
Riot's not perfect, but in their patch notes at least they're very transparent. If there was no mention of this being intentional, then I will continue to believe it's a bug until redtext explicitly proves me wrong.

As for this, it's pretty obviously a bug. There's no reason to remove it, especially with no context.

So sick of people with absolutely pathetic attention spans tabbing out, then coming back having no fucking clue what's going on and ruining a teamcomp/not noticing a lane swap/etc. You can live a full fucking 3 minutes without constant stimulation.

It's a change that they believe caused an issue and no matter our backlash they will keep it so. I mentioned they didn't have a good track record with this stuff and frankly they don't.
