Seriously, its annoying as hell.
You're gonna go gnar top to counter a sion let's say, and someone's like "Ew i hate gnar" or they want to force a dodge, so they just ban him

No. I want to ban who I want to ban, sorry. I usually ask the person first to make sure they can play something else, but at the end of the day, if I don't want a champion in my game, I'm banning it.
How do you suggest someone would disallow that?
well sometimes its good to ban that champ even if they want to play it. For example lets say ahri was god tier pick or ban but the guy who wants to play ahri is last pick you could let it go through and maybe he gets it and let the shot for the other team to get it or you ban it and dont worry about it.
Yes but if you want to ban the pick, then you simply ask that person, if they want to try it you should not be allowed to ban from your own team.
At least a "X wants to ban Y" prompt for the person who intends, such as banning yasuo when you have a yasuo intended.
