Kassadin backed away. He had blinked a few meters away behind a wall and clutched his chest. He felt it coming closer. It was an all consuming beast of the likes he had never seen. Thousands of needles rained against the wall behind him. This was the reason he fought against the void. To protect Runeterra from things like this. The void called to him to give in. Kassadin resisted. It was like a dark drug the way it gave him power, but he would never be a slave to it. He would never be a slave to a creature like this. He stared it in the eyes before trying one last time to silence it. But for some reason it didn't work. He felt as if its power had somehow been amplified. It had stolen his strength. He felt weak compared to this horror. Volz'Urak would rise to destroy all that lay before him, starting with Kassadin, who found himself unable to speak.

Passive: Void terror

Abilities empower auto attacks to do a small percentage of Volz'Urak's attack damage as magic damage and applying an effect.

Q: Void Walk (not similar to rift walk)

Volz'urak enters the void, becoming untargetable but still visible for a few moments, before returning to the rift and dealing no damage.

This ability serves as an escape A an engage. during the time he is in the void he can take NO action other than moving.

W: Serrated sickles

A large number of very small aimable projectiles fire in a cone in front of Volz'Urak. They apply pierce, and stun targets who find them selves impiled to walls for one second flat over the course of the entire game.

E: Slimy Scales

passive: 10/15/20/30/40% bonus armor and magic resist when activated for 6 seconds.

R: Voracious Encounter

The next auto attack against a champion incurs the cooldown of their ultimate ability and silences them for a half a second.

Thoughts? I left out the cooldowns and numbers since it seems reasonable for riot to determine the scalings etc.

So, since I've started becoming kind of a judge of these concepts, roaming around and criticizing, let's start:

Passive: You don't say what the bonus effects are. You don't tell us enough about the passive to know what it does and doesn't do. Right now, he has a built is spellblade ish

Q: Troll pool/poll made trollier. Full MS for 3 seconds, while untargetable, that's longer than zhonya's. I'd say nerf the duration and give it something else if you want him to be untargetable.

W: "They apply pierce, and stun targets who find them selves impiled to walls for one second flat over the course of the entire game." I have no idea what this means. What is pierce. What is being "impiled to walls"? They're stunned for 1 second over the course of the game? You need to clarify this heavily. I have no idea what this is right now.

E: Riot always tries to make each level of an ability do the same effect as previous levels, and as such going 10/15/20/30/40 is a bit off. Give it a linear curve, not exponential. Also, does it passively give bonus armor+MR, or actively? What is its active if not then? Bonus stats? Is this just Garen W?

R: NO. Riot specifically does not do this. You do not mess with enemy cooldowns. Those are their burden to manage and should not ever be messed with. New ult please.

To be honest, I can't really give any ideas on what this guy needs are shouldn't have since you haven't given any insight on what kind of champ he is. Is he AP? AD? Squishy? Tanky? Engage? Give some insight on his intentions, then work from there on your abilities.
