Kha'Zix Rework focusing on adapting to change, not requiring him to upgrade abilities, but empower!
Currently rengar and kha'zix are supposed to duke it out for dominance of the rift lore wise. Makes sense that they play similarly for the purpose of this, and considering kha'zix is a famous example of shitty balancing according to a lot of people, I decided to post my certaintlyT rework of the week* tm.
Passive: change is good
Using any basic ability gives a stack of adaptability, at 5 stacks Kha'zix can choose to adapt to his current situation gaining bonus effects.
Q: same as live, at 5 stacks he gains partial armor ignore like Gangplank barrels.
W: same as live, at max stacks of adaptability it becomes like Rumble E and can be cast three times for super slow stacking power
E: Same as live. At max stacks goes the full super distance
R: Works like Akali, you get stacks of this shit over time, and can stealth as many times as you have stacks. When faced with your final upgraded ability, it also allows you to empower kha'zix's other abilities to do other things too. If you want to focus on killing squishies it does more ad scaling, if you want to kill tanks or need help killing tanks you can upgrade it to do damage based on percent armor or something. The idea is to give kha'zix the most unique set of choices in the game, instead of making him this linear assassin who currently doesn't seem to be able to do what he can. If the final part sounds overloaded we can just leave it out.
This kit fits the rengar vs. khazix theme and solves the problem kha'zix has with jungle sustain (mainly mana but hp too). Khazix has problems clearing without going oom, or can take charm and clear without going oom but almost dying. So by making him manaless its not really that big of a change considering his main source of damage was always a low mana cost ability.
