Fiddlesticks fan rework concept (gameplay). Large post.
As he has been voted to be the next year rework after
, lets begin to see people concepts about the new face of the champion.
Objetives of this concept: -He will still be a main jungle, with the option to be played as mid and even support in some situations (support role probably getting a bit worse tho)
-Make him more terrorific to play aganist, being an actual slasher terror movie supernatural killer. Also making the one playing him feel like that.
-Make him have more global presence to be feared by enemy because of the surprise factor of "where will he really be?"
-Make him have more mechanics (this one is obvious), not only with combos but also making the player think his plays with anticipation like a murderer.
-Make him more homogeneus into counters/countered-by. Basically giving him a clear list of champions he is good or bad into and make most of the game matchups relatively decent if you play well.
-Give him the abilities he always had but modernized and optimized. Also give him a new ability that represents global pressence.
-Making playing aganist fiddle a constant heartattack danger (in the good/funny sense).
-Making his playstyle a bit more healthy, specially aganist oponents that read fiddle´s weaknesses well.
So lets begin. The abilities dont have a very large text except E. you can ignore the tooltip notes to read them faster.
Now he is a melee champion.
passive- taste their desperation: when fiddle damages an enemy champion with an autoattack he gives him a Desperation stack. Some abilities also do it. At 5 stacks the objetive gets feared for a duration that depends fiddle´s level (2 seconds at lvl18). After a champion gets feared, he has a cooldown of 4 seconds to get feared again. While an objetive is in cd for fear, stacking 5 charges again on him will make him silenced instead.
Q- Enjoy their pain: Fiddle launches his scythe to a near enemy, making it deal damage, apply a charge of desperation and bounce to another near enemy to do the same. It can bounce 5 max times and will avoid to do on the same target twice but will focus him if affected with "Drain their hopes". Fiddle cant auto while the scythe is in the air. When it returns to fiddle, his next auto in 5 seconds has more range and deals aditional damage based in objetive´s missing hp. The flying scythe deals adittional damage to monsters.
W- Drain their hopes: Fiddle starts to channel a drain to an objetive. While he does he can still move but hes 40% slowed. He cant auto or use another abs except "Enjoy their pain". Every 1,5 seconds the drain applies a Desperation stack. The drain lasts for 6 seconds total. Cant be stopped by any cc but gets canceled if the objetive gets too far. When the effect ends, fiddle gets extra movespeed for 2 seconds wich is faster when more time the ab has been channeled (50% max)
E- Fear the scarecrow: Passive: If fiddle stands quiet for 4 seconds, he adopts a scarecrow form. After leaving the scarecrow form he gets 40% (lvl18) speed buff for 2 seconds. Also he gets a Lure stack every 40(?) seconds. Max 5 stacks at lvl 18 (less in lower levels) Active (near range): Fiddle wastes a Lure stack to place a scarecrow that looks exactly like him while in scarecrow form. It also has the same appareance in stats (hp bar, level) for enemies, but does nothing and when it loses a 25% of its max hp it dies instantly. https://imgur.com/gVlHmQ3 Active (from far range): Fiddle clicks into a scarecrow in middle distance in the map and makes it disapear by teleporting to its exact location after a 4 seconds channel, adopting the scarecrow form during the process because of being quiet during the channel. At the end of the effect, he appears just like the Lure´s exact previous position.
_Note: This TP is only noticeable for enemy team if they had direct vision of the Lure. This ability has the same CD as the needed to get a Lure stack, but isnt shared with placing scarecrows wich has no cd appart of getting the stacks. Reciving any damage during the tp will cancel it. If the enemy team has vision of the Lure by any mean, they can notice the tp. This makes fiddlesticks players to be completely obsesive with vision to ensure their surprise attacks go well. _
R- Surprise motherfu**r We seek your flesh: This ability can only be used while in scarecrow form. Fiddle instatly teleports to a near distance (basically like the old ult) and unlseashes a ravens swarm that damages enemies based in their maximum hp for 5 seconds. Applies a Desperation stack every 1,5 seconds to every affected enemy.
Remember thanks to the E passive he will have a movespeed buff while doing this.
Now imagine an adc walking into a jungle, placing a ward in a bush and seeing an actual scarecrow with a champion´s hp bar adove it who, if is the actual fiddle, can instantly jump with ult and destroy him with terror music and sounds in the background. That exact second of panic. Thats what i seek for in this concept
Also this can be used to scare players in a lane by making them think they are getting ganked when they ward the near bush and they see the Lure, giving interesting opportunities to your allies in lane without actually being present.
