Yorick needs some mini-buffs..?

This is only MY opinion of whats happening with yorick, one of my favourite champions wich i ve been playing a lot in my smurf. Yorick is a juggernaut based in 1v1 fights and splitpush. He is a champion who depends of his ult to deal a decent damage, and it has an extremely high cd, specially in early levels, wich makes yorick depend of 40% cdr (and yet is way too long)... and even in that situation, hes not that strong in 1v1 to be competent in some situations. There various champions in this game who have more moviliy and much more CC than him and yet they can win him a duel without even poke his ghouls, in early and late game. I know its fair to have some matchups in those a specific champion is not recommended, but thats not the problem with yorick. Trundle or Nasus , for example, are also juggernauts, who are based in 1v1 but also can go to teamfights and have more utility than yorick in most situations (the wall is countered by a lot of champions, and hard to put well to engage or in middle of a tf) and yet they have more potential in 1v1 and splitpushing; trundle gets a little wave uses W and thanks to using his Q on towers he can take them down in the same time as yorick. And the nasus thing is nearly retarded to be honest; the ultimate buff made him the best tower destroyer in the game... when thats not supposed to be his role while is in fact, yorick´s role. Yorick´s real way to be competent in 1v1 is to make death dance and elixir of wrath, so he gets a healing wich makes real juggernaut feeling, but even this way he gets countered in more ways than he should. Tryndamere feels like a real splitpusher; he pushes well, he gets towers almost as fast as yorick and he can escape and has much more 1v1 potential than him, and yet hes is more usefull in tfs thanks to his ult. One of yoricks strong points is the fact of "the six player", putting the maiden in a lane to splitpush, while you go to other and release your own ghouls to push it (or use banner to also splitppush that afk and go to mid lane to make pressure) buts lets face it: this tactic is, apart from being easily countereable in high leagues and get screwed up if yorick dies, its also extremely hard to do in soloQ, so its only a decent strategy in flexQ and yet is not considered worth. After all this, the only thing i see yorick has advantage is getting drake or baron, things that other champions gets hard to do with the same efficacy, and yet there are some who can do it... The point is, there are some things that makes me feel the champ is not the good it should. Im not saying yorick is a bad champion, and i know there are others who are in a worst situation in the actual meta and need changes more than him, but i ve been thinking about his problems and came to this; -He should be able to Q on towers. I know he would take down towers incredibly fast, but isnt that supposed to be his role? His Q is obviously designed to it and it worked like that after the champion release, but was nerfed cause rito thought he could be too strong. Well, i think hes not competent enought without this. -The ghouls should "unlock" after a certain level, same as darius ult or garen passive does, making them lose their weakness to 1-objetive hit like autoattacks. There are various champions who can kill the ghouls incredibly fast in late game (hello, yasuo, irelia, urgot, yi, xin, and much more) erasing yoricks most damage and healing fountain while he cant even do nothing to evade that. -The ghouls should get a little part of yoricks healing (extremely low in early game, decent in late) so they can survive AoE attacks, or just have more HP in late. There are champions in late who can kill them without even pretending. -the wall should have a different hitbox, so not all the dashes could pass through it. Currently, even garen´s Q or galio´s E (when he goes back before dash) can pass it in a buggy way... -The E should have more slow in late game, i think 50 or 55% in last level would be nice, also its cost in high levels is not justificated. currently leveling up it just give the same stats but less cd and more base damage (wich doesnt cares unless you use with someone with low hp) -the ultimate should have a bit less cd in late levels; around 50 secs at lvl 3 with 40% cdr would be nice.

I died to Trundle as Yorick today because I got him in my wall with my ult on him at level and tried to fight him but got bursted down. Like if I waited a second or 2 before engaing on him in the wall maybe it was possible to fight him. But its hard to play vs champs no one plays because you dont know what they can do.

I had him under my turret later and he ignored me and attacked the tower because Yorick himself does no damage, he needs the ghouls, which I didnt have then. Yoricks Q is crap honestly, its a long cooldown and the damage is mediocre. Like with a item 3071 it takes 2 autos and a Q to kill a small raptor.

I thought the lane woiuld be easy from other Trundles I fought, but I was wrong. But then I have a good track record as Sion vs Trundle so I suppose I have been facing very bad Trundles...

I dont belive in getting item 3812 on Yorick, unlike lifesteal you get no healing from the maiden and apparently it gives reduced healing on ghouks because it counts as aoe. But lifesteal applies to yoricks pets.

Problem with Yorick: Relies on the dead when nothing is dead. Also, Yorick's Ghouls die too fast and anybody building life steal will kill them and gain massive hp for some reason and kill you off. What really needs to change is that, you shouldn't gain lifesteal off of champion spawn minions. That's just dumb. Fin. [zombie-nunu-tears]

Well for starters I feel like his sustain, wall and power without ghouls need to touched upon. Yorick needs better 1v1 power when he doesn't have ghouls around him because right now they only bring him up to 100% of his power unlike darius and Illaoi who can deal insane up front damage but when they get their passive and spirit hook up they become supercharged and are at 200% power or so for a short while.

That is yorick's issue. his dueling power is poor as hell and he needs to be able to fight without ghouls to help him and when they are around, people should pray like they do when Darius get 5 stacks of his passive up. Yorick's damage is too invested in his ghouls and they die too fast, making me less threatening compared to others juggs who still carry the threat to bringing serious damage if they are challenged and even more damage when they fought on their own terms. That is yorick problem his passive is his kit, not a passive effect that adds to it.

Bluntly speaking, he needs a mini rework.

First of all Yorick better passive that allows him to deal extra damage for a few seconds when he lands a damaging attack(Q and E) lets called the effect "Call of the grave" which increases his damage while also allowing his damaging abilities to bring ghouls to him as his E is a pain to land.

Call of the Grave:

When Yorick lands a damaging attack on the target, he will mark them and call near by ghouls to the marked target and cause yorick's next basic attack to deal additional damage to the target 10/20/30% total AD + 2/3/4% Max HP to 4/6/8% of their max HP (Max HP damage increased by 1 per 1% of the targets missing HP) Any target hit by Morning Mists will be affected for 4 seconds.

HIs Q already is a passive in itself with the grave making so that should have his old passive added to it.

He also needs better sustain. I would like to see his Q granting him 15 to 30% lifesteal for his empowered attack based on his missing HP and lastly, his wall needs to block off any dashes or Flashes so if he is about to summon it, dash out of it or else you will stuck until you destroy the wall or it expires. I don't give a fuck what people say about this, it has to happen because of the mobility of so many champs in the game.

Yorick is a really strong laner and a lane bully. I didn't really play him much, but seeing him a couple of time, I'd say he is really strong and doesn't need any buff.
