Female mage issue
First of all, thank you for your time in reading this. Please be patient and open minded.
This isn't a complaint about morals, feminism or the players in the community. So don't take excessive offense to it. Thank you~
So hello! My name is Mira Arya Enthe, and I would like to address an issue I have had since S2 when I joined. It is merely a matter of personal preference. But see the thing is, I prefer to play female characters in video games. I also, primarily play mages. And this has really been bothering me. It applies somewhat to supports, fighters and tanks as well, but in different ways. I'm only going to address mages. With mages it is an issue where it seems like all the females are very... convoluted! Now, let me clarify, I realize some are not. But here me out. And this isn't even about them being too hard to play. It's about... well I like straight forward, fun stuff. Not narrow gameplay styles that just demand mechanical perfection.
Kassadin, simple leap mechanic, very simply damage sources and some useful utilities. Very straightforward. He can also build mana tank, AD, AP and even jungle. And this is after all his kit destruction. Vs, Now compare that to LeBlanc. Who has a complicated marking mechanic, reverse leaping, a chain that has to stay connected and her cloning self. Yes, in the current meta LeBlanc is way stronger, that isn't the issue. The issue is she is so complicated. And you know that is just fine, on it's own. But let's look at some more. Like Ahri who's design is entirely based around landing your charm and quickly executing somebody.
Malzahar, soooo easy to understand and get 'good' at with loads of build diversity. Vs Syndra, extremely complex and unforgiving. Must build pure AP.
Xerath, super safe pick, easy to use, doesn't easily fail. Vs Orianna, complicated, uses balls like Syndra... and Ahri and weird mechanics.
Brand, a very simple, AoE mage who can just ult a team fight for loads of bouncing fun. Not a lot of build diversity but certainly better than Morg, who essentially = Zonya's, plus other teamfight based ult focused items that work well.
For control mages we have Ziggs, a fun zoning mage with tons of utility who is simple to pick up and play but amazing to master. Vs Zyra, who was already complicated and reliant on pets. But now even more so!
Vel'koz simple and fun vs Taliya complicated but well... fun.
Yes, there are some reverse examples. Annie and Lux, Vs Heimerdinger and Fizz. But in general, it's just disappointing for ME. Lux is a boring character for ME because she is just a magical anime girl, and I don't like playing children so Annie is blegh.
Again, this is just a personal thing, but I wanted to voice it.
I want a female dps, burst or dive mage. Who doesn't mark things like Kat, Akali, LeBlanc or Nid. Who doesn't have balls like Syndra, Ahri and Orianna. And who doesn't have pets like Annie, Zyra, sort of LeBlanc. Who has simple, intuitive, fun gameplay. That brings a lot of variety to the table in terms of abilities and builds.
On a side note. I would like a female support with loads of cool utilities like Tahm, Bard, Taric and Blitz instead of just heal/shield and a CC. (Obviously I know about Leona).
Finally, again. JUST a request, a note, voicing my desires for the game. No need to throw a tantrum. We get about 2-3 males for each female released. I am allowed to request a character. <3 Thank you again for your time.
EDIT: Somebody asked privately if I have ever actually suggested a female mage. Yes, three times. Similar characters with different kit designs.

is pretty straight forward. Not many minigames. Probably your best bet.
Only ability that interact with each other is Q and ult. She also looks awesome model wise. The markings are not required to succed.
also quite easy, specifically laning phase although she is more of utility mage
a lot and let me tell you, he isn't exactly easy to play. Sure his E is a point and click but with his rework timing and combos tend to be key; onto my next point, his Q is very slow has a decent range but is easily dodged unless predicted properly, his W, although it covers a semi decent area, is similar to
W just a tad bit quicker, slow to erupt, easy to dodge unless you predict your enemies movements and place it properly. His ult pretty simple but if you can predict a
Although I have never played her, from what I've seen and studied stats wise, she's pretty broken herself. She does not need to land an ability that hits only one champion/Minion in order to stun them, they just stun everything in its path and can place out multiple spears for a greater chance of stunning an enemy. Her W does not have a spot where her ability necessarily will land and has a pretty good range, and the fact that she can use surrounding enemies and or create a sphere to use at almost any given time. Her E as I stated before, pretty strong ability given the, stuns anything it knocks a sphere through, pushes back enemies. Pretty strong ability. Her ult. It has no damage reduction as some champion s do have for every enemy/champion a sphere blasts through, it just does plain simple brokenly strong damage and covers a pretty decent range. Right off the back level 6 it has the potential to do 630+whatever AP you've managed to pull from backing and returning with items and generally within that time frame your opponent shouldn't have enough HP to survive an encounter of all of her abilities or at least some of them and her ult without having to burn at least one summoner spell given the fact that they more than likely took flash.
Timing and combo is genrally key. He's not as broken as he used to be. Early game, easily shut down. His R has very very high penalties yet moderate rewards given his ratios. He is not ranged his E requires charges to even use. His W is a enhanced melee. Gives you some mana back, useful but not great generally used as an offensive spell more than utility, at least in my case not sure about everyone else's. His Q. Not very strong early game but the extra little shield does help some but not much.
Never played him. probably never will. But I will say this, from a lot of what I've seen he's not easy to play. Very immobile, one of his abilities requires charging AND makes him even MORE immobile. All of his abilities are skill shots. Most of them take a while to actually take effect and generally require you to land his stun to make them effective. His ult. IMMOBILIZES HIM. The early Jhin ult in a sense. Great surrounding range but, you only get 3 shots they have an indicator for where they'll hit and have a decent time before they actually hit. Easily dodged.
Is fun, but have you seen his counter list? It consists of the most mainstreamed mid laners, that is for a reason. He's immobile and everything is a skill shot that has a time frame before effect. His ult sucks to get hit with anyone can agree. He's pretty broken.
Never played him til rework, I agree he's pretty broken. But some things to not is that he needs to be in close range, somewhere you don't generally want to be, in order for his W to effectively and once his shields down he's pretty much open to kill if you can get around him properly early game and is typically open to early ganks since he will need to be in close range to get the most effect from his W.
There's a reason she was nerfed pretty hard, still is OP. Root, dash/AOE insane damage. Duplicate an ability on a very low cooldown. A cloning passive that isn't too hard to un-deceived by but generally helps a lot given many situations such as team fights.
Oh my god. A lot of people call her Satan and that's for good reason. Her burst is INSANE and given her passive and her update Tibbers is a pain and he gets faster and doesn't go away when she dies. Easy to play.
No mana. Gap closer. Low cooldown ult. AOE abilities. Generally is the one scoring the double kills and above unless you shut her down hard. She is a PAIN. Easy to play.
She's not as weak as you make her to be. Plenty of her abilities are strong. Although I haven't gotten a lot of my mind grasped around her, because I don't player her she's still very strong. She does require some manipulation over her ball but the damage ratio is pretty strong especially her ult since it does cover a decent area and pulls everyone to the center. Still a very strong champion.
Just as bad and easy to play as Kat. More of a mix between Kat and Ahri. Good counter for Malzahar if you play her right which again, isn't that hard.
You mentioned her, she's very strong now. Pretty close to
in a sense.

, the epitome of being badass. Like, not the epitome of being a badass female, but the epitome of badass period. Darius and the other guys wish they were half as badass.
