The little brother of Baradi Donnafex (Pronunciation: Bur • rod • dee ), he and his brother serve on the Noxian Protectorate. A very small and secreted group, The Protectorate was formed during the Rune Wars in order to always have a defensive force to protect the entirety of city from any attack, at any time, while a majority of the cities forces are away. Those who are still growing in their powers in the ranks of The Protectorate are assigned selective protection of key figures within the city. Molineux is second in command for this section of The Protectorate, called the Convoyers, while Baradi oversees the City protectors, called the Dominiors.

Looking to rise and gain the power necessary to surpass his brother, he forgone his families’ strict religious adherence and sought out powerful, yet corrupted artifacts to increase his magical prowess.

The research and collection of these artifacts were done in secret, but the mere possession of them caused some general sense from Baradi that there was some evil within his brother. This skill would help aid Baradi’s rise to his position, but seemed to overlook this feeling as it sourced from his brother. Molineux, still dedicated to both his position and pursuit of power used the artifacts to protect against a kidnap and assassination attempt of a military supplier at a nearby store front for the Noxian army in a strange request from his superior, with one of the rare times assignments were given outside of the city walls.

Being in relative isolation on this assignment, Molineux took up his artifacts and did defend the war merchant, returning to his post, only with his normal blue lit and glow to his eyes replaced by a smoky mist. This sparked a heated talk between brothers, their family heritage, and the damage such magical use can cause to those he is assigned to protect.

Through the heated arguments between brothers, Molineux began to hold new thought, hurtful thoughts towards his Noxian brethren. He wasn’t sure who the enemy and who was who he needed to protect. As he brother become worried about his ailing physical state, Molineux hid the mental issues that were also happening.


Days later after a scout return from the war merchants store front back to Noxus, they reported that not only was the store front destroyed, but everyone in the area except the war merchant’s daughter was killed. This put into question not how well Molineux can protect someone, given how devastated the area was, but back again to the new dark artifacts. Molineux was given the task of leaving Noxus and returning back with 4 people, one for each artifact he has, in order to prove himself that he can do hold this position within the Protectorate as he decides to equip himself.

#Abilities

##PASSIVE: Under My Watch Spell Modifier Radius: 175 Cooldown: 10 / 8 / 6 / 4 Interrupts Movement: No

Molineux lets no one hurt those under his watch, and looks to punish enemies who are close in to try. Whenever an ally or an enemy is within close proximity to Molineux, Molineux’s abilities will have additional effects to those nearby targets depending on the spell. This takes a concerted effort, and will take a brief period of 10 / 8 / 6 / 4 seconds (at levels 1 / 6 / 11 / 16) before this empowered effect can be used again.

  • The target of the spell cast must be within the radius of Under My Watch
  • When this effect is active, Molineux’s runic staff will glow and leave a small trail of red lights from the glow (as shown in the picture above).

Molineux whips out his rune engraved staff in an overhead motion, sending out a stream of cursed runic energy, dealing 50 / 80 / 120 / 170 / 220 (+50% AP) in magic damage to the first enemy unit in its path, also creating leash back to the staff.

For the next 3.0 seconds while the target is leashed, the cursed runic staff will blight the life force out of the target, reducing the targets health regeneration effects and increases damage from all sources, ramping up to 5% / 10% / 15% / 20% / 25% over 2.0 seconds of the held tether, and keeping the maximum effect for the last 1.0 second. The effect ends as soon as the tether is broken.

Under My Watch Empowerment Hitting an enemy champion who is within range of Under My Watch causes the target’s reduction in health regeneration effects and increased damage from all sources to immediately be at the max effect for the full duration, and the effect no longer tethers but last continuously for the full duration.

  • The cooldown of this ability will begin when the ability misses or at the end of the duration.

Molineux grabs the skull on his side, extending it out with his full reach. The skull eyes glow and then blast out a beam from each socket, hitting the first enemy champion or monster along its path, ignoring minions.

Enemy champions hit with this beam are dealt 40 / 65 / 100 / 155 / 210 (50% AP) in magic damage and have its vision ranged reduced by 300 / 375 / 450 / 525 / 600 for 4.0 seconds, ramping up over the first 3.0 seconds and keeping the maximum effect for the last 1.0 second.

Hitting an enemy champions causes they eyes on the skull to glow even brighter normal, and allows a second cast within 4.0 seconds

Under My Watch Empowerment Hitting a target within range of Under My Watch causes the targets reduction in vision to immediately be at the max effect for the full duration, and the target will missed the next single auto attack attempted within the duration.

Second Cast Unit Targeted | On Spell Buff Range: 600 Projectile Width: 300 Projectile Speed: 2000 Casting Time: .5 Seconds Interrupts Movement: No

Molineux sends the skull to an ally or himself having it float above the targets head and scan the area around it by rotating quickly. This grants the target some of the stolen sight, increases the targets vision range by 75% of the stolen vision range for 4.0 seconds.

Any enemy champions that are visible within the enhanced vision radius at cast or enter the radius will be continuously revealed until the end of the duration, even if they exit the vision radius.

Under My Watch Empowerment In addition to the increased vision range, the targeted ally becomes immune to Blinds and Nearsight effects until the end of the duration.

  • The secondary cast will reveal champions only, not other stealth items such as wards or Temmo’s Shrooms.

  • It will reveal those who attempt to go into stealth or camouflage, but not reveal those already in stealth or camouflage before it goes into effect.

  • The cooldown starts if the first cast misses or after the end of the duration of the second cast.

  • Because Molineux will always be within the area of Under My Watch, if it is ready, he will always gain the empowered benefits.

  • At the end of the duration, the skull fractures and fades away as it falls to the ground. Soon afterwards, the pieces appear and solidify together at Molineux’s hip.



##E: Silent Chantry Channeled | Self Targeted with Ground Placed Persistent Area of Effect | On Enemy Cast Self Buff Radius: 400 Cooldowns: 13 / 12 / 11 / 10 / 9 Cost: 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 Casting Time: .25 Seconds Interrupts Movement: No

Molineux grabs his pentagram amulet on his necklace while whispering rites of protection, channeling for 1.5 seconds while causing him to move at 20% reduced movement speed.

As he channels, a pentagram shaped sigil appears around him while he whispers. The sigil burns itself on the ground when he completes it, and all enemy champions in the area will be silenced for 1.5 seconds when it completes and dealt 60 / 85 / 120 / 165 / 195 (+60% AP) in magic damage. The symbol last in the area for 3.5 seconds afterwards, for a total of 5.0 seconds on the battlefield.

Under My Watch Empowerment Completing the channel while an enemy champion is within range of Under My Watch causes any spells cast by enemy champions in the area before it dissipates reduces the cooldown of Under My Watch and all of his abilities by 1.0 seconds.

  • The cooldown begins at if the channel is interrupted or after a completed channel.

As a last ditch effort to protect at all cost, Molineux charges for a short time, pulling out a part of his very soul into order to manifest a protective shield, lasting 3.0 / 3.5 / 4.0 seconds in a particular direction. During the duration he may recast this ability once to change the direction of the shield, only requiring a brief charge up period to change directions.

While the Soul Shield is up, any damaging attack, spell, or effect intercepted by it is reduced by 40% / 50% / 60% damage and is partially blocked. The remaining damage not reduced is taken at the end of the duration – as he pulls his soul back into his body, feeling all the shielded harm at once.

Under My Watch Empowerment Creating the Soul Shield while an allied champion is within range of Under My Watch causes all allies ally behind the shield for a very short distance (175 units) to become untargetable for .5 / .75 / 1.0 seconds. This effects happens during the recast as well.

  • The secondary blocked damaged can be avoided by Zhonya’s Hourglass or other means.

#Trivia

  • Molineux’s sense of style is terrible. He was influenced by his brother, Baradi, to wear the style he has now, particularly his caped jacket. Although he doesn’t keep up the care for his clothes, showing tatters from use or battle, he does try to keep some of the style from his brother.

So a few quality things I feel I should point out. The base damage on the abilities are very strange. Typically, damage either scales at the same rate or slightly more per level. On his Q, it goes 50 / 80 / 120 / 155 / 220, rising in damage by 30 / 50 / 35 / 65. This gives serious power spikes at third and fifth rank, while making the other levels pale in comparison. While his other abilities don't have this sort of strange rise in damage, they all have very high base damage when leveled up. This means if this character is max level and built full tank, they are doing 625 magic damage from their qwe, not including the 40% damage amp. Slap on 45% cdr and now you can split push all game and destroy anyone who would challenge you. Now throw in some ap on top of it and your one shotting the carries. There's just way too much raw damage overall.

Next, the ultimate a bit counter productive while also being broken as all hell. Essentially, it's a Braum shield that will echo all the damage blocked back to you after it ends. Unless you build very tanky, your going to just die at the end of the duration in teamfights. On the other hand, you can 2v5 the entire enemy team with Twitch as you would making him constantly untargetable for the entire duration while pulling away any damage he would take from skill shots by standing in front of him. In proffesional play, this guy would be 100% banned as any team with him on would win the game.

The W guarantee's you win trades during the laning phase. You can hit through minions, nearsight the enemy so that if they aren't Kai'Sa they have to get super close to attack you (or max rank, screw it, put them in meelee range to attack you) and if an ally is nearby, negate the fist auto they try to trade with. Hell, even if they just wanted to get the creep, they SOL if the passive goes off. And this is every 12 seconds. Or with CDR, every 7.

His E is just kinda strange. 20% less movement speed for 1 second really isn't that bad of a debuff, especially when it allows you to AoE silence for 1.5 seconds. It also forces anyone inside to get out, not only because they risk taking some serious damage, but it'll also lower your ability cooldowns, making it so that the debuff of taking 40% more damage is even closer to happening again.

Overall, I should note that this is a pretty cool champ and I highly respect the amount of time and effort you put into him. However, his kit is very overloaded, especially for a champ that seems designed to be a support.

The ult is very interesting, this could give Noxus the battle mage they need

Ur gonna have 2 change the visuals on W and E tho as bones, and some symbolsb are not acceptable in some countries

The w is cool tho, a different visual could be an eyeball suspended in a vial of fluid

That's a cool kit, I like it a lot. Really cool ideas for abilities. +1

That said I never understood the point of creating an encyclopedia-like entry for a character. Power profiles, ability ratios and actual stats are something that are subject to change during the design process so it would be impossible to know what they would end up as. Seems like wasted effort to me, if Riot picks a concept up it's not going to be for the numbers and stats, but instead for the character's thematic and ability ideas.

Also Riot writes their own theme music for characters, they can't just take something off of a youtube video for it. Even if you really want them to.
