[NEW ABILITY/MECHANIC IDEA] Unfriendly Fire

Hi there Conceptionists!

Imagine an ability that could use on your enemies that would make them fight each other.

(removed first example, was too extreme for a theory skill)

example: Red eyes: Target an enemy champion, Target attacks their closest Allied Champion. If not target is found, they will deal self-inflicted damage based on their AD.

Keep an open mind, Yasuo's wind wall was meant to be a utility skill and people call it toxic, but Riot still put it in.

Hope to see some creative ideas from you guys!

A ranged taunt that converts a champions hit detection to neutral, combined with a silence and a root ? Sounds really unfun for the enemies.

R - Ethereal Dream Active - Ability causes target opponent be unable to differentiate characters.

If the player just stops attacking they wont hurt anything. This is just an idea, but this mechanic IS NOT BALANCED if it is forced. Although it can be countered by communication and good judgement. It mostly affects champions with AoE abilities that can sway a fight. But in the long run it is just a complicated cool looking silence, that doesn't silence.

you just gave legion commander pandoras box. you cant take out 2 champions out of the a fight with no way to fight back and the champion useing the ability not in danger that would be like range low cooldown poke on melee characters. Maybe if you have the champion casting in the middle as the 'judge' cc immune but takes damage. and on an extremely short range

Okay, new mechanic idea. W - Runic Punishment: & sacrifices 10/15/20/25/30% of &'s armor and magic resist for 8 seconds. Enemies within 250 units have their armor and magic resist reduced by the same % for as long as they remain in said radius. If an does a single target attack to &, it is done to each other enemy champion as well. Lifesteal applies in full, but after potential damage from this effect.

The Ult I have planned for one of my champions is does enable enemy friendly fire, but not by targeting only enemies. Ult: Shadow Sight- temporarily removes victims ability to see. Inflicts blind and enables friendly fire. Possible duration: 3-9 seconds. It literally removes the player's ability to see the screen, except for their own ability/Item bar (not map).

I like how different the idea is, and it is stuff like this that leads to awesome ideas, but this is not a good idea for the sole fact that when they target the adc with that this means everyone will leave them to die because they don't want to take that damage, and further more if you are taunted to attack your team then you cant attack the enemy...rendering you more useless than anything. I mean at least if you are stunned your team may try to still save you...not if youre attacking them...But what if instead of having them directly do damage to their own team you create a champion or item that seems parasitic in nature and when you mark the enemy their allies near them have lower resists or movement speed.... something like that, you know?

Here's an edited version of a similar mechanic I think might become part of the game in some form or another. It's also an ultimate, making it better than a confusion based taunt. R - Damage Equity: In a radius of 450 units of X, any damage dealt to a unit is dealt to all units within the radius as well. Damage dealt in this manner is spread before armor and magic resist, and dealt in the same type of damage. Lifesteal and other combat healing effects apply fully, but they apply after the damage is taken from this effect. When * dies, 4 seconds pass, or X is silenced/channel forcibly stopped (Kassadin), the ability ends.
