Nagru is currently the Abbot of the Havio Monastery in Ionia. As leader, he teaches monks both martial arts as a fighting form and as a life philosophy. This philosophy includes mastery of one’s true self, and the essence of the true self is Ki.

With his practice, he is able to both see and interact with the Ki of others, being able to take their KI for his own. He justified the stealing of this Ki with the description of the flow and balance of Ki. At the height of his training, he has reached the ability to create a perfect version of himself, however short, of pure Ki to manifest in the world.

As tradition for Abbots, their task is to extend the practice with either furthering a previous Abbots technique or creating a technique of their own. He has already further enhanced the previous Abbots created technique, Abbots Grentaio. He may look to establish his proficiency, even more than prior Abbots with completing this tradition one more time. He has an idea on how he would like to do so.

Privately, as he begins to grow in power for his give and take if other’s Ki, he wants to create a perfect Ki manifestation of his self, permanently. This will require more Ki from others than he has normally taken, which will upset the balance, possibly leaving the victim an empty husk of their former selves. He feels it may be a price to pay for achieving his perfection.

Every ability cast resets Nagru’s auto attack timer.

Gained through devoted meditation and abiding by a sacred code, Nagru has an additional resource, Ki Points, to which he can hold a maximum of 4 (as shown in the picture).

Whenever Nagru cast a spell, he expends a Ki Point, granting him protection with a Ki Shield for 1.0 second in the direction of the cast. This Ki Shield reduces the all damage against Nagru sourcing from that direction a great distance away for 1.0 second by 8.5% / 10% / 12.5% / 15% (+2% per 100 AP) (at levels 1 / 6 / 11 / 16). Consecutive cast in the same direction do not stack damage reduction, but does refresh the duration.

Nagru gains a Ki point back every 8 / 7 / 6 / 5 seconds out of combat and every 5 / 4 / 3 / 2 seconds while in combat.

  • Nagru starts the game and each respawn with 4 Ki Points.

  • The Ki Shield wraps the body of Nagru in the direction of cast. It looks like an outline on him with a glow versus a projected shield. The glow it cast in game will be similar to the visual effect of Fiora’s ult.

Nagru quickly throws a close ranged Kata Attacked followed by a longer ranged Kata Attack forward in quick succession, keeping the ability to move as he throw these strikes. Each strike counts as an individual auto attack, applying on hit effects, with each dealing 25 / 45 / 70 / 100 / 150 (+35% AD) in physical damage. These attacks can critical strike.

Total Maximum Damage: 50 / 90 / 140 / 200 / 300 (+70% AD) in physical damage.

  • After casting, Nagru will continue moving towards his destination uninterrupted.
  • The first strike will be in the direction of the cursor.
  • The second strike will change to the direction of cursor independent of the first strikes' direction.
  • The direction of movement related to the direction of the attack will have different strikes animations.
  • For example, moving North and attacking North will throw a spinning back fist to a flying knee.
  • Moving North but attacking South will throw a backwards elbow to a mule kick.

Nagru plants his feet, concentrating and creating a Ki vacuum for the next 3.0 seconds. His next auto attack or damaging ability within that time will drain the Ki of whoever he hits, filling the vacuum, striking with an additional 20% / 25% / 30% / 35% / 40% AP or AD Adaptive, and marking them for 3.0 seconds.

Nagru will gain a Stolen Ki Point for every damaging auto attack or ability on the target while the mark is active up to a maximum of 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 Stolen Ki Points. Each damaging strike or spell will extend the duration of the mark by .5 seconds up to a additional 3.0 seconds, and extend the duration of his current and future created Ki Shields by .5 seconds up to a maximum of 3.0 additional seconds.

Nagru may cast Ki Blast anytime while the mark is active for additional effects. Any stolen Ki is lost if it is not recast within the duration.

  • In his additional resource area on the UI, Stolen Ki will be the opposite color of the normal Ki resource indicator.
  • The duration of the mark will be visually indicated on the icon of the ability as it count downs.
  • Particle effects will change on attack depending on the higher amount of AD or AP for Nagru.

Nagru uses all of the his personal and stolen Ki from the marked target and shots it out in a destructive Ki ball, hitting the first target along its path, dealing 50 / 90 / 130 / 180 / 220 (+20% AP) (+5% AP per stack of Ki) (+20% AD) (+5% AD per stack of Ki) in mixed damage.

Casting this ability will drop any passive Ki Shield currently effecting him and use all of his Ki, reducing his Ki Stock to 0, and end the mark on the target.

  • The cooldown begins when the mark fades off the target.

Nagru takes a short bounding step before performing a mastered technique, a jumping upside-down spin kick, sweeping through all enemies in front of him, dealing 30 / 45 / 70 / 100 / 165 (+40% AD). He has perfected this attack, allowing him to use it again within a short period by casting it again.

During the bounding leap, if Nagru collides with an enemy champion, he will use his quick reflexes change his technique from sweeping in a large area to forcing all the damaging into a single target with great force, with the attack gaining an additional 30% / 35% / 40% / 45% / 50% Armor Penetration.

Nagru absorbs all of his Ki inwardly, enhancing all of his auto attacks and spells for the next 6.0 / 8.0 / 10.0 seconds. During this state of Perfect Self, his auto attacks and spells are closely followed by a copy of himself, being the physical manifestation of his Ki attacking. This copy deals 40% / 55% / 70% (+10% / 15% / 20% AD) (+10% / 15% / 20% AP) of the base damage of his auto attacks and spells in magic damage.

Additionally, anytime he kills an enemy unit, he reduces the cooldown of his non-ultimate spells by 1.0 second for each Ki Point Nagru currently has.

  • The cooldown starts at the end of the duration of Perfect Self.
  • The cooldown reset will count the total of both Nagru's base Ki and Stolen Ki.
  • Nagru has an increased glow around him for each Ki Point he has as a visual characteristic when cast.

#Trivia

  • Nagru’s Grentaio Sweep is named after the previous Ki Master he learned the technique. It is tradition that all Masters demonstrate with either the creation or improvement of a new fighting technique. If a technique is created, it is named after the creator and improvements keep the creators name out of respect. Nagru’s innovation to the Grentaio Sweep? He was able to change the technique if an opponent steps in and collides with them during the bounding step as a potential counter to the move.

I like it but as an ionian with ki abilities I'm pretty sure he would use energy Other than that it's nice
