Shizen, the Earthbound Being:

Lore: Shizen before becoming the Earthbound Being, he was a young monk who seeked knowledge of transcending the human form. He spent his whole life searching until he found a forbidden scroll in the rubble of a demolished monastery. In the scroll he read that in order to reach enlightenment and free oneself from their mortal form, one must master three principles, selflessness, purity, and patience. He then began to draw the seal of transcendence on his chest, and spent years mastering these principles secretly at his monastery. Ten years later, the Noxians had pillaged his monastery in seek of the great library. Here he had to make an impossible decision, stay and save a his fellow monks, or run to save himself. His only thought then was to escape and continue his training. As he was escaping the mark that he had draw on his chest had begin to burn and sear his skin, for he had disobeyed the three principle. his body then began to meld with the earth and nature itself, and he was condemned to a body mad of earth. For his sins, he would never be able to transcend, and was forced to walk on this Earth for eternity. Over a hundred years later, Shizen appears in the League of Legends, claiming that fighting to defend peace was his only way to gain redemption.

Playstyle: Shizen is a ranged support type mage, who is energy based.

Looks: Shizen looks like a skinny Shaolin monk with the symbol of 3 spheres in the form of a triangle on his forehead and chest. His body looks as if it is made of clay, and he is surrounded by 3 translucent spheres that bear the symbols of selflessness, purity, and patience.

Passive: "Transcendent Principles" Shizen's autoattacks and spells attatch one of his 3 orbs onto an enemy, ally, or himself (max 1 per champion) and last for 4 seconds. When attacking and he has an orb(s) around him, his attacks deal additional magic damage (5%/10%/15% of his AP). Whever Shizen regains an orb, he gains 10 energy.

Q: "Selflessness" Cost: 80/75/70/65/60 energy
Cooldown: 18/16/14/12/10 seconds He jumps in front of an ally within range of him. If the ally has a orb on them, both targets switch places and Shizen regains the orb on the target ally. In an enemy has a orb on them, he jumps to the target enemy and regains the orb.

W: "Purity" Cost: 60 energy at all ranks Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8 seconds Shizen heals a target ally or himself for 50/60/70/80/90 health (+5% of his maximum health). If the target has an orb on them, he grants them a shield, blocking 50/60/70/80/90 damage (+25% of his AP) and regains the orb on them.

E: "Patience" Cost: 120/115/110/105/100 energy Cooldown: 30/28/26/24/22 seconds Shizen meditates, making him immobile and tethers to an ally or himself and grants them a spell shield for a maximum duration of 5 seconds, as long as he does not move. If the targeted ally breaks the tether or Shizen moves, the spell shield disappears. Shizen must stay still during the duration of this spell and it has a .5 second cast time. If the target has an orb on them, Shizen and the target will emit sound waves that will deal 10/20/30/40/50 magic damage (+20% AP). Shizen Regains his orb at the end of if this spells duration.

R: "Transcend" Cost: 0/0/0 energy Cooldown: 115/90/65 seconds Shizen enters an immobile state where he is able to temporary release his spirit from his body. He turns the area around him into a field that slows all enemies in the area by 10% as long as they are in the radius of his ult for the duration of 5 seconds. All enemies in the area will be dealt 50/75/100 magic damage (+50% AP) per second, and Shizen will heal 75/100/125 health (+5% Maximum Health) per second. Shizen can cancel this ability by moving.

Summary: Shizen is overall is a support mage that can build either tanky, ap or both. His passive helps him utilize his abilities in a variety of ways. Shizen in a real game would possibly be someone who engages fights by spell-shielding himself and ulting to mush down the enemies and slow them down so that your allies can come and clean them up.
