Jack, the Frostborn Child
Jack, the Frostborn Child:
Lore: Deep within the ancient mountains of the Freljord, a child was born, a son of Freljord they called him. During a battle between the forces of the Avarosan and the Winter's Claw. In the aftermath of the battle, Ashe, leader of the Avarosan, headed up these ancient mountains, to discover a child alone, and on his neck he had a pendant. She believed him to be an orphaned child, and was amazed how he was able to last so long in the cold. She took the child under her care, and named him Jack. As Ashe raised Jack, she started to see Jack's power come about. When she realized this she went to the elders who were the wisest in the land. All they told her was that the pendant that Jack possessed bared the symbol of Freljord and that he was no ordinary child. Ashe then became more watchful of Jack as she saw his power progress. Jack was a playful child, who had no intention of violence ever. it is said that his heart is as pure as white snow. However, when Ashe and Tryndamere were called to go to the Institute of war to participate in the League of Legends, Jack was left within the care of the elders. Jack was saddened by this event, causing raging blizzards throughout the Freljord for weeks. When Jack had finally recovered from his sadness, he went out to play as always. This time when he went out, he stumbled upon a poro being preyed on by a pack of rabid wolves. Jack jumped in the way to protect the poro, and as he was about to release a winter storm, Braum came in and fended of the wild wolves. Braum had commended Jack for his bravery and told him that next time, Jack will return the favor. Jack inspired by this wanted to become a brave man like Braum. being the young kid he was he joined League of Legedns like Braum so that one day he can return Braum the favor.
Playstyle: Mid Ranged Mage
Looks: Jack will look somewhat like one of the Iceclimbers, but will have a more detailed face, white hair and is slightly taller, and is about Annie's age. He is also accompanied by a poro.
Passive: "Snowball Fight" After using 3 offensive spells, Jack's next attack will deal an additional 60 -> 120 magic damage (+50% AP) and will deal a slow of 10% for 1 second.
Q: "Snowball" Cost: 80/75/70/65/60 mana Cooldown: 7/6/6/5/5 seconds Jack rolls a snowball in a straight path, adn when it comes in contact in contact with a unit, it will explode, dealing 80/90/100/110/120 magic damage (+50% AP) and deals a 10% slow for 1 second. *If snowball is rolled on a frost path, it will roll faster, have an increased AoE radius, add an additional 10% slow, and deal 10% increased damage.
W: "Bombarding Snowball" Cost: 90 mana at all ranks Cooldown: 10/9/8/8/8 seconds Jack targets an are and throws a snowball there, dealing 40/50/60/70/80 AoE magic damage (+50% AP), adds a 10% slow for 1 second, and lays down a frost path in a circle shape.
E: "Winter Wonderland/Frozen Path" Passive: Wherever Jack walks, he leaves a frost path for 4 seconds. Active: Jack casts in a straight line, and a trail of ice follows that line leaving a frost path. Enemies caught in the trail during the cast will snared for 1/1/1.5/1.5/2 seconds.
R: "Glacial Snowball" Cost: 100 mana at all ranks Cooldown: 150/120/90 seconds Jack rolls himself into a humongous snowball and rolls in a direction with an increased movement speed of 40% for a duration of 4 seconds. When this ability comes to the end of it's duration or is recasted, it will explode dealing 150/175/200 AoE magic damage (+50 AP) and a 3 second long 10%/20%/30% slow. *Like Jack's (Q), if used on a frozen path, Jack will move faster, deal 10% more damage, ans instead of dealing an increased slow, Jack will stun units hit for 1.5 seconds at all ranks. *Jack's ult will stop if he hits a tower, wall, or champion.
Summary: Jack's kit shows how he is a mage who does tons of AoE damage and slows, and how his (E) can enhance his abilities power. His ult is great for initiating or escaping, and his kit makes his opponent weary of dodging skill shots. Thank you for reading my champion concept, and feel free to leave a comment.
