I'm conflicted about Zed's chroma

Let me start off by saying I'm glad he's finally getting something to hold us over. They don't exactly look bad but: Why red? His classic skin is already red.

Why not black? It wouldn't be the same issue with Black Zac because Zed has features that allow him to be easily seen despite his clothes (lightning swirls near his feet, his shuriken, his huge wristblades) Black and blue go together MUCH better than red and blue.

I'm going to buy it anyway but I'm not as happy as I otherwise would be. The red chroma feels like a waste (because of his classic skin) the yellow chroma is a little too flamboyant and isn't very complementary to Zed's mood, and the purple one is...actually nice looking though it could probably get a bit darker.

EDIT: Upon seeing the yellow chroma in game, it looks much darker, and much more befitting to Zed. The red and purple ones also have a subtle "vibrancy" to them, that make their colors much deeper in the right places, being very visually pleasing, although I still cannot help but feel that the red is simply a waste of a slot and that black would be a significantly better choice to implement.

Edit 2: The chromas seem to be bugged right now: They're using Classic Zed's idle particles (the revolving shurikens glow red instead of blue) and Classic Zed's emote shadows.

This is terrible. They all look like shit. Zed's only good looking skin is his original. Chroma skins are just lazy, get your shit together Rito. Zed needs a real original skin.

Scorpion (yellow), Rain (purple), Ermac (red)

I think they look great, especially the purple and red ones.

Eh, I'd say when I think of classic Zed I ALREADY think more of black than red.

It's pretty sad that people will actually pay for some colorswaps made in 5 minutes.

Who cares, their money not mine, BUT this way i can't have my hands on the Zed skin i'm waiting since forever.

Outside Yorick, Zed is almost 3 years old and he didn't recieve any skin that is not a LEGACY, FORCED commemorative skin, everybody after him got a fuckton of skins already, like Vi for example.

To be honest, the problem with a Black cHROMA for Zed is his shadows. At that point, one can argue clarity based on "is that the real Zed, or is that just one of his shadows?"

The yellow one fits him the most, in game these look 10x better; the red is decent and I think it looks pretty slim and not that bad. The purple one is my least favorite and I very much agree that it should be darker.

To be honest i think Classic Zed looks a lot better than Bladestorm, they should have made a classic chroma pack.

His classic skin is red and black though, not pure red like this.

I don't understand why people are getting salty about the chromas saying "Zed needs a real skin!!!" Chromas are not pushing him back on the skin schedule. Its just something to fill the void for now.
