Can Riot's VGU team talk to Shaco/Akali players before their full VGU is designed?
Yes, I know. Akali and Shaco are obnoxious champions who can make you feel like there is nothing you can do about them. However, they are champion who don't seem to need Sion/Poppy levels of a rework and that could have plenty of their core characteristics preserved.
Their core identity is fine and a great deal of their gameplay is also ok.
They are not at a "I stun you for 50% of your hp, then pop my shield to take away the other 50%" or a "I mark your support and roflstomp the rest of your team" case like Sion and Poppy used to be. Or even an "Who the hell thought this was a cohesive kit" as in Galio's disconected kit.
However they do need some changes that number tweaks can't do.
What I'm asking is just a thread to discuss ideas of what would be good changes. Not asking to Riot bend over to our will. In the end, they should do what they think it's better. Just asking to get some general direction from the champion's players so they know in which of the plenty of ways they should most likely go.
If it works out for those 2 champs, maybe this could become the go-to approach before a champion is reworked.
PS: If anyone is interested on why those 2 champs and not someone like WW, or Galio it is mostly because Riot is already working on them, with a set direction in mind and I doubt they'd make big changes to a work which is already in progress.
