An AP/tank Quicksilver Sash item! (Mercury Curiass)

I was always wondering - why is it that only ADs have access to a late game Quicksilver Sash item? Why do APs or even tanks not have access to such an item? Sure, they might not always want it. But it'll be nice to have in the 1% of cases that they do. To prevent it from being an autobuy, it has to be expensive, slot-inefficient, sort of stat-inefficient, but still better than having a quicksilver sash that does nothing but have the active in ultra late game.

Mercury Curiass + + + 465 gold = 3200 gold TOTAL

+30 AP +250 Mana +30 armor +30 magic resist +10% cooldown reduction Unique Active: QUICKSILVER - Removes all debuffs from your champion. 90 second cooldown.

Stat value: MR-540, Armor-600, Mana-350, CDR-300, AP-652.5. Total 2442.5. 76% gold efficient without active.

One could ask the same question regarding why AD champions don't have an equivalent for Zhonya's Hourglass.

Not every item needs an equivalent for different roles (AD, AP, Tank, Support, etc).

AD is already overpowered. AP glass cannons already use Zhonya's which is superior. This just helps semi-tanky APs or AP mana users have an alternative to Zhonya's which gives way less survivability, damage and utility in exchange for mobility.

ya casters dont need another "purge-er" zhonyas is far more usefull in the face that it nullifies damage

It is 76% gold efficient. I don't think there is any 3200+ gold item that is not at least 90% gold efficient. It is meant as an ultra late game way to keep quicksilver sash active while not having a totally trash item in your inventory.

I like it, but I do think it's a bit much having armor as well. I get what you're saying about the gold inefficiency, but it's like having a mini GA that removes debuffs instead of reviving you. I don't know what you'd do to replace the armor, but I like your idea very much aside from that one thing. :)

Amp tome -> Fiendish Codex, raise AP to 50, add Sapphire Crystal instead of Glacial Shroud, remove armor?

casters dont need anything beyond zhonyas. zhonyas is too good
