Name: Oric Race: Human Visuals: Male frame somewhat in the middle of jayce and ezreal, taller than ez, shorter than jayce, thinner than jayce Age: 18 +/- 2 years Gear: relatively slim pack on his back with conduit leading down his right arm, a quarter way down his forearm the conduit can split into green, white, blue tubes which will lead into the matter ray gun that he holds in his right hand. His left hand is empty but he wields a black octagonal case mounted in the center of his left forearm that stretches from about the middle of the back of his hand to just past his elbow. His clothes should not be too fancy since he isnt wealthy. His outfit's main color should be white or something relatively uninspiring since he'll likely be wearing piltovian work clothes or demacian peasant clothes. He doesnt have glasses but a monocular hextech visual augment may be present in some skins for accessorization purposes. His body tones would likely be similar to garen, definitely lighter hair than jayce.

Lore: Oric is originally from demacia and his family regularly had to move to avoid conflicts from other empires such as noxus. Never having had a stable home made oric want one even more. He was inspired by tales of a great defender who used hextech in faraway piltover to protect against evil. As soon as he was old enough he bid his family good safety and headed for piltover to learn about the craft. Being of foreign blood he was not able to get into one of the major houses to study, he worked in a component plant that created various devices for common hextech items. He learned what he could from his work and spent all of his free time and money acquiring new knowledge. His first accomplishment was learning how to augment an everyday hextech vit-kit which only made him want to learn more. He soon moved on to traps and he was also able to modify some of the technology used at the plant to further his experimentation and in turn his knowledge. Eventually Oric had gained enough knowledge and equipment to craft something completely of his own design. He named his project bastion for it was created to withstand any assault. He still has a lot to learn and many technologies to augment but one day when his bastion is complete he'll return to demacia and build the home hes always wanted.

P: Matter capacitor Oric has a secondary resource (matter) which can be used to prime his abilities (improve their effectiveness). He can have up to 4 charges at any time. Charges are gained slowly over time, but can be more quickly gained when being damaged (10% hp = .5 matter) or when using q on enemies. To prime an ability the summoner would simply hold the desired ability key for one second causing oric to channel. Priming does not prevent oric from moving or using summoner spells. Priming consumes a charge of matter at the end of the channel. Priming multiple skills at once cannot be done but multiple skills can be prime at once. Prime skill icons will have a white/notably bright outline. Dying unprimes all skills. Oric spawns(and respawns) with one charge of matter.

q: de/construction ray (white/silver hue)

On enemy cast: projects a beam that absorbs energy and converts it into matter. range: 900 cost: 60 mana cooldown: 8 seconds duration: 2 seconds damage: 80/120/160/200/240 (+40% ap) magic damage (25% per tick, 2 ticks/second) matter generated: .5/tick of successful damage (max 2 matter generated), half effectiveness when used on non-champions details: channeled beam, single target, does not pass through, width ~= vik beam/nid spear [prime]: beam can pass through (1 enemy) and effect up to two enemies (total)

on allied cast: sends a matter ray burst at target allied champion/structure range: 900 cost: 60 mana cooldown: 8 seconds speed: 2000 duration: 4 seconds shield: 80/120/160/200/240 (+40% ap) details: single target, normal shield, on click, pulse emitted has travel time before shield appears, can effect towers [prime]: pulse moves faster than light causing the shield to appear instantaneously

w: shock trap (blue hues)

Oric materializes an invisible shock trap at target location that stuns any enemies that walk on it. Materialization requires 2 second to finish. range: 900 collision radius: 80 cost: 60 mana static cooldown: .5 sec (shared with e) recharge: 30 seconds max charges: 3 max deployed: 3 stun duration: 1.5 seconds details: single target stun trap, 3-hit health, upon activation any vision provided by the trap is lost, truesight of stunned enemy is not gained however oric will be provided with a red alert arrow visible only to him and his allies similar in shape and position to soraka's low health ally indicator that lasts for as long as the stun, range indicators for primed versions will be provided similar to teemo shrooms, [prime]: shocktrap is overcharged resulting in arcs that allow it to provide vision in a radius of 500 units while preventing its invisibility, arcs will spread to traps within 350 units disabling their invisibility but granting increased vision range

e: hextech vit-kit (green hues)

Oric materializes a vit-kit at a target location to heal allies. Materialization requires 2 seconds to finish. range: 900 collision radius: 100 cost: 60 mana static cooldown: .5 sec (shared with w) recharge: 30 seconds max charges: 3 max deployed: 3 healing: 60 / 105 / 150 / 195 / 240 (+ 40% AP) details: single target heal, vit-kit is visible but indestructable, it is unusable if an enemy is standing on it (its model radius will likely be about 60) [prime]: upon activation a healing burst is fired at the lowest health ally within 900 units healing for the same amount as the initial heal (does not effect initial target), initial target can activate even when at full health

r: bastion (black/grey hues)

Oric deploys his greatest defense from the octagonal case strapped to his left forearm. range: 450 radius: 300/350/400 cost: 100 mana cooldown: 40 seconds channel: 4 seconds damage(to allies) reduction: 50% details: persistent, gtaoe, similar to camille ult but made moreso of matter instead of energy, incoming damage reduced by 50% to all friendly champs within the radius regardless of position of damage source, spawns with 1 prime vit-kit(scaling with e, does not add to max vit-kit count) that regenerates once per minute while Oric is within 1500 units (regeneration timer will pause while he is out of range), The bastion will decay when either Oric is not within 1500 units or an allied champion is not inside of its radius. Full decay takes 40 seconds, allied champions inside the bastion will halt the decay but not cause the 40 second timer to regenerate, refreshing the decay timer can only be occur while Oric is within 1500 units and will be done at a rate of 5 times (eg it will take him being within range for 8 seconds to restore 40 seconds of timer). Oric can deactivate the ability at any time by holding the ability key for 1 second, he will be refunded cooldown equal to half of the decay timer. Interruption during channel can occur by any hard cc as well as by Oric moving or pressing the skill again, upon interruption oric will be refunded a percent of the initial cost equal to the percent of channel time he did not complete, suppressing oric causes an unstoppable decay of the bastion at a rate of 10 times (it will decay in 4 seconds), silencing oric nullifies the effects of the bastion as long as hes silenced, a chaos storm contacting the bastion causes decay at a rate of 10 times [prime]: bastion nullifies hazardous entities causing any enemies within its radius to be silenced.

The kit is promising but way too safe (You're outside of all adc auto-attack ranges except Caitlyn headshot) while curiously requiring that he get hit to build more matter (or land his one damaging ability). Your secondary resource is essentially rage, so why not just allow the building of 'matter' through auto-attacks as well and adjust your cooldowns/costs on abilities accordingly? For the ult, you could maybe save a bit of time by explaining that it's essentially a hulked-out version of Maokai's old ult, with several layers of perhaps unnecessary complexity slathered on top. For me, the most interesting thing for this kit is the Q, since we don't have a lot of abilities with dissimilar effects when cast on enemies vs. allies, so I would say that I would personally prefer more emphasis on this give and take in the kit overall.

As for the lore, it leaves me wanting less on account of it being a cookie-cutter example of what Riot used to do, which is plop some unknown entity in the middle of the world that does some cool thing. Why does he do the cool thing? What are his actual motivations? If you don't know this, just leave the lore barebones. The kit's more important anyways, in my opinion. Also, do we really need another thin, young, white dude in league? This kit could belong to a non-human character easily, perhaps a constructed mech of some sort or a Yordle? If it's got to be a white dude, do the right thing and make 'em a ginger.
