Iristor, the Mysterious and Ancient Pillar

(I had a concept in mind already, but was somewhat inspired by the discussion here: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/skin-champion-concepts/wFuBTGu5-riot-can-you-make-a-mechanically-hard-tank-champion as well as the multiple requests for a less mobility focused champion)

Concept: a champion that can function as a very difficult to play tank, as well as a potent autoattack-based mage, who "moves" around the map by receding into the ground and popping up in a nearby, predetermined spot.

Playing as this champion will heavily rely on your teammates' help, because your options for mobility are extremely limited and you can't run from an engage, nor can you dodge any skillshots by moving slightly in any direction.

Playing against this champion will seem like whack-a-mole, except that your options for dealing with the champ will be limited and you may find yourself biting off more than you can chew if you get too ham.

Appearance: This champion is a massive, larger than average size cylindrical pillar that bears numerous scars and pockmarks from ancient wars and magic and shit. It's a giant rocky cylinder. not much else to say. various skins might have it become one of the ancient runic pillars from the rune wars or something, it might even get a project skin in the form of some other champion's stasis pod. There's a lot you can do with it.

Passive: "This is a fuckin whackamole champ" (title subject to change) all throughout the rift, twisted treeline, and the crystal scar, and who knows what other new maps we might get in the coming millenia (we might get more than one before we die, you never know) there will be marks on the ground that indicate where this champ can pop up. right click, wait, and after a short delay (walking speed) this champ will pop down into the ground and then pop back up where the other mark on the ground was. Think Kalista, but with like a 2 second delay between clicking somewhere and leaping there. Like really fucking slow. Like, if anyone ever uses it to dodge skillshots it'll get fuckin nerfed, slow. SLOW. Positioning will fucking matter and the rest of your team needs to be ON POINT. We good? good.

Q: "This deletes your AD Abilities." (title subject to change) This is a point and click counterspell ability against AD Champs. if they've activated an ability that has an AD ratio of any kind, and you click them with this, their ability is interrupted (shorter cooldown, slightly) and the cooldown of this is instantly refreshed but eats extra mana. For a short duration, think 2-3 seconds, their AD-ratio abilities are locked out. This has a moderate cooldown.

HOWEVER: If you cast this ability on YOURSELF, your basic attacks deal magic damage for a short duration (half the base cooldown), and in addition to the magic damage they deal, your first auto of this duration slows your target for 1 second.

You obviously can't really gain the benefits of both of these at their maximum potential, so when you start each game, you're going to have to choose what your focus is and you're going to have to be consistent with it.

W: "This is remarkably similar to the Q but for AP, and I'm starting to see a pattern" (title, again, subject to change) This is a point and click counterspell for spells instead of AD pew pews. Same rules apply. interrupting refreshes the cooldown but eats extra mana, it comes with a 2-3 second silence, but this one's an actual silence. This has a shorter cooldown, but can't affect the same target with the silence effect more than once every (2 x base cooldown) seconds.

HOWEVER: if you cast this ability on yourself instead, your basic attacks deal magic damage, they no longer auto lock on, and must be aimed. (you can auto attack the darkness). they have increased range, and this effect lasts for half as long as the cooldown.

E: "Hey, this one's different!" (title not subject to change, sorry. it's written in stone. GET IT IT'S A ROCK PUN) This is a point and click disable of a character's next auto attack. they swing or shoot or whatever, but nothing. maybe even a looney tunes style boioioing effect when they hit. whatever. I'm sure it'll be LOADS OF FUN IN THE LANING PHASE. I honestly have no freakin clue what a balanced cooldown would be for this. You can't cast this one on yourself for a different effect, you gotta run with it.

R: "Where did all this crap come from CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF YOU BIG TRASH CAN" Remember all those spots on the ground where you can pop up from? ALL OF THEM POP UP. YEAH, ALL OF THEM. You block all enemy skillshots with your other pillars and allow teammate skillshots through. allies and enemies both cannot walk through your other pillars. Only your teammates know for sure which one is the real you (until you start autoattacking of course). lasts a decent length of time. enough to piss someone off. Enemies standing on a pillar when it pops up are knocked up and away.

AND THERE YOU HAVE IT. A character that is simultaneously an extremely high skill based immobile tank, and also an extremely high risk immobile mage with potent lockdown in addition to damage, one where you have to choose between the lockdown or the damage.

A character that, when you look at it in champ select, you have to ask yourself what build you think they're going for because they're a flex pick in their own lane!

A character with mobility issues you can't fix with boots or teleport! A champ that can't use flash! Actually they probably could. But it would be real easy to predict where they'd flash to.

I got no clue if this champion design is unplayable, or broken as hell. I'm leaning towards unplayable. I'm thinking it's a good rough draft though. What do you guys think?

The skin possibilities are pretty crazy. museum-style statues (possibly even statues of other champions), rocks, gems, geysers, volcanic molten geysers, pillar of stuffed poros, man you name it.
