Alkarim, the midas touch (Rebooted Champion concept)
So here we go, this is my second shot at a champion revolving around pocket gold. I tried to keep him the same at his core which is a tanky support but this is more built with the possibility of jungling as well as keeping mastery stuff in mind (Old Alkarim would've been broken with windspeaker's blessing because he had a heal and a shield.) I'm still not sure about any solid numbers.
Range: Melee
Role: Support/tank
Passive: On champion kill or assist he turns the enemy into a golden statue that one ally can take for bonus gold, this bonus gold would scale off of a base as well as a portion of gold the enemy had in their pocket.
Q: Golden shield: Ally champ or himself Alkarim converts his gold into a shield that has a base shield and then a scaling aspect off ap and his pocket gold.
W: Investment: Self cast Alkarim's next basic attack deals 20% of his gold as bonus magic damage and if his target is an enemy champion and they have more gold than him they are stunned, if not their attack speed is slowed.
E: Bank statement: Enemy unit or non-epic monsters Alkarim uses one of his magical tools he has gathered to link to a singular target, the target is slowed and takes damage every second before the end in which the link bursts and damages units in an area around them (Link damage scales off of Alkarim's gold while the burst scales off AP). If it is cast on an enemy champion it does bonus damage based on their current gold when the duration ends.
R: Pawn: skill shot dash, enemy champion Alkarim dashes in a direction and disables all the benefits of the enemy champions highest valued item, as he passes through them he deals a small margin of damage. "I'll take this off your hands."
Lore: Alkarim spent most of his days traveling the waste lands of Shurima to expand his knowledge, his father lived in the constant pursuit of the secret to making gold from other materials. After the death of his father he took up this quest as well, and he succeeded, now able to turn any object to gold, he enchanted his gauntlet to carry the spell he crafted. After cracking the secret to endless riches he simply got bored of money, the ability to buy anything he saw fit wasn't as enticing to him as it was his father. He saw value in interesting objects, things that money couldn't buy, such as memories and priceless artifacts. He believes that gold corrupts the hearts of many, but he ignores his particular weakness to selfishness. He protects the victims of the bandits in Shurima, giving money and protection from bandits to the less fortunate, all the while skimming interesting objects off the invaders. Alkarim turns to the League as a place to search for interesting powers, objects, weapons, and people. "Money is no object, well, figuratively of course.
Cinematic idea: Bandits towered over helpless commoners, pillaging and beating the denizens of the harsh desert. Alkarim grabs the shoulder of one of the leaders of the gang. "You're a bit greedy aren't you?" He says as the bandit's chest-plate falls off as golden coins, he punches the man in the gut with his singular gauntlet. The other bandits stood in shock before rushing at him, scimitars swinging. He blocks the first with his gauntlet before the coins on the ground rose up to block the attacks of the others. The Robin turban dashed through the center of their line towards their mages, the glows of crystal staffs dissipated and back fired, torrents of flames burnt the remaining five thugs as they retreated. "Go on, help yourself." He gestured for the peasants to take the gold that was scattered on the ground. He looked up as a loud thud resounded through the small village. A hulking behemoth of a man stood before him, the man bore three missile launcher like canons on his hunched back and massive brass knuckles. Three magical bolts were fired at Alkarim, he danced around the first two before the last hit him, sending him tumbling into a house. Three more shots, two more dodged with the third hitting. Alkarim rushed forward on the third barrage and sapped the magic from the item, the weight suddenly bore down on the man, crushing him with the actual weight of his weapons. "Gravity spell to reduce its weight, clever." Alkarim grinned before knocking him out with a punch to the face.
