I mean i may be remembering wrong but Ao Shin was announced before lucian and it was like this gale dragon a few months later we have this wind based Champion called Yas that throws a tornado and stuff.. wouldn't it just be possible Riot scrapped Ao Shin and merged w/e idea they had for him into Yasuo ?
huh. Wouldn't be the first time something like that happened. The early concept for Nautilus eventually became both him and Ziggs I think. The only problem is I'm pretty sure they said Ao Shin is coming, but just not in any discernible future
Nope. Ao Shin was flying, but he was more thunderstorms based. He was also a dragon. Yasuo is a man with a sword. Two totally different champs. Yasuo was being worked on during Lucian's reveal anyway since he came out just two champs later, they couldn't had changed the total scheme in just about 4 months. It takes about a half a year to a whole year to make a champion. (I also think that Ao Shin was mana based. And I didn't down vote you.)
Champs are in development way longer than a couple months. I guess they coulda kept his kit and just changed his model, but very unlikely.
