I used to be an Eve one trick back when Magus enchantment was in the game.
Eve's performance for me has been declining ever since jungle enchantments have changed multiple times and Eve's subsequent nerfs to "balance" her out. I understand that she needed them but her builds aren't good any way you look at them.
So i simply stopped playing her about 2 years ago.
FeeslBadMan
Considering that i loved every Rework Riot has done in the past (even for champions that i don't play myself), i don't have a reason to believe Riot will fuck it up. The Rework process has the same dedicated resources and time constraint as new champions so essentially, Riot IS making a new champion with a preexisting template. They're not half-assing the effort.
With the Rework in mind, i am fully aware that Eve's lore is likely to change (finally moving out of her "assassin for hire" trope) as well as her VO and model.
If Riot correctly identfitied Eve's core pillars that they rebuilt her upon, i wouldn't care if her look from what we have now changes. If she works and there's a thematic cohesiveness in her kit + lore, i welcome new Eve with open arms. That's how i feel.
#I'm pretty stoked about her soon™ rework.
#Morgana
I am now a support Morgana main and Riot has said they would like to do an eventual duo update to Kayle and Morgana. I can't find anything wrong with Morg's current kit but even if it works, it's pretty OK. Just OK. She isn't anything special/flashy that you can complain about/praise. And that's the issue. I feel the same thing as with Eve. If Riot identifies Morgana's core pillars correctly, rebuilding her around them would give us an improved Morgana that everyone is already familiar with.
You can't really express your mastery as a Morgana player outside of only being good at predicting the Q bindings really well. And that's a skill that's pretty easily acquired. New Morgana players have ~7% higher win rate with her than masterful players with 200+ games on her. That's pretty wrong in my opinion. This means that Morgana currently isn't a good champion to one trick in general as you play her more, you run into a wall.
Considering that Xayah and Rakan were released in pairs (two champions), i think Riot has fair experience on duo releases so Kayle and Morgana wouldn't look like experiments.
