Feedback on champions that feel very generic compared to where i'm from.

understand i have been playing moba's for over 14 years. been in LoL since beta. even got to use the alpha UI once.

Honestly 50% of the champions I see in league feel generic and 1 dimensional. I see very low level mechanics even in pro play.

Coming from Dota all stars, Storm of the imperial sanctum and other games that just went balls out crazy. over balance has caused champions to all be very generic with no real power.

People complain about damage.. well that's because you got hurt by something and it happens.

I blame pro play.. no competitive scene = no competitive attitudes. everyone trying to justify their main and riot needing to please everyone but people just not getting that meta's rotate. it happened in dota 1... new meta.. you main is now a fish. move on this forced players to try new things.

in league... yeah.. get me out.. why can champs like pyke and yi, yasuo just flow the chaos? While other champs are left generically wondering where the hell thier edge went.. Shen, Soraka, sion, reworks... that were obliterated in spirit and essence of breaking free and doing tangible plays. Where did we go wrong guys?

We started caring about our KDA and ELO too much... were so overcrowded the chance of you meeting a negative person is very high. We dumbed down champions and gameplay.. we all of us.. our constant nagging .

I am bored of boring champions. other people are actually... in love with some of these things.. you think to yourself. "what kinda noob literally mains this thing and thinks.. i'm OP" And then it has 50 skins.

Look at DotA 2, a good competitive scene but still have a lot of crazy heroes and they get these major change patch notes every once in a while. I don't think it is the competitive scenes fault. I think it is the people causing favoritism towards some champions (Those with 50 skins). Also the Sion rework even though his current kit doesn't at all remind me of his old kit, his rework was one of the best reworks. Shen is just the usual "he too good in proplay cause global, so need nerfs"

But I don't really see feedback here only complaints that champions feel too generic? How are they generic? Which ones are generic?

Edit: Also you might want to go to gameplay or general discussion with this, since this isn't actually a creation or a concept.
