I like her wings where they are. It gives her a much more interesting profile, makes her look less generic, and overall pulls off the dark sorceress look a lot better than she ever has.

she's supposed to be fallen angel. Not handicapped angel that couldn't fly because her bum-wings couldn't lift her from the ground.

Old Morgana couldn't fly because her wings were shredded. New Morgana can't fly out of choice, because she's choosing to walk and side with mortals or whathaveyou. You can see her lowest set of wings are bound and drag behind her with her skirts, so she's obviously not going to be using those either to fly.

From what i understand of the lore, Kayle and Morgana are halves of a whole. Not sisters so much as parts. When you consider the idea that theyre part of a whole, the hip wings suddenly become much more reasonable: A traditional "powerful angel" will have between three and four pairs of wings.
The first pair is near the shoulders. The second pair is in the middle of the back. The third pair is in the lower back. The fourth pair is usually on the hips.

Although i agree butt wings look awful and i am NOT a fan of the highly comical exaggerated C shape that riots done for these wings.

Bringing in lore, that Riot doesn't even care all that much.. Sigh dude..

I know archangels are supposed to have 4 pairs of wings, which kayle has only 3 (watched trailer yesterday so can't remember), but in this case, they should have made morgana having wings in normal spot, while kayle having her 3 pairs better spread out. It'd simply looked better. And everyone would be happy.

I mean. If riot cared, they would start off looking very similar to each other and then make them diverge over the course of the game; Kayle gets more wings, Morgana gets darker and her wings begin to decay.

How is it boring compared to her current design? Shes literally just a white stick with a purple tent around her legs currently. Her new design is literally just the updated and improved version of her old one. it's got textures and contrast, and really great new animations and physics. the only questionable design choice would be the placement of her wings, but i feel like there's going to be lore about why she only has her bottom wings. I'm sure that will make sense in time. maybe riot will eve change it, who knows.

But that one questionable design choice is hardly enough to go around crying on every post that exists about the topic saying that she shouldnt be reworked and that riot is ruining and destroying champions that that its terrible lmao. Especially when the fact is that WAYWAYWYAYWAYWWAY more people love the new morganas look than dislike.

Her design changed from fallen angel aesthetic, to a seductress. And we already have those character tropes in game.

Usually VU can also bring balance changes, so don't be surprised if for example half of her damage or CC time suddenly goes 'poof' from her kit.

This happend before and I wouldn't be surprised if it happend again.

The only thing they touched on morgana was her ulti, in which they buffed to make it easier to land the stun. Everything else is exactly the same. Number and all.
