i'm just gona say it's horrible how some champions never leave the deadpool.

Some of them hard broken for ages, getting no skins nor attention,

However the "buffs and nerfs" are just skins and control champions.

It's funny because I've always been a fan of balanced B tier champions since they have clear strengths and weaknesses and winning with them seems fair and like a proper accomplishment that scales relative to effort.

Which makes them weak, non-meta and they get decimated effortlessly by meta picks.

Honestly, I'd rather have my favorite champion exist but be low tier than have them basically removed.

Sometimes they get it right, creating a new character that still respects and hits the same points that the old mains liked. Heimerdinger and Taric were probably the best ones in this regard.

Sometimes they fuck up majorly, creating something unrecognizable. Sion, Aatrox, and Galio fit this to a T. While I think the Sion thing was for the best, and that the new Aatrox/Galio are cool in their own right, they don't fill the hole.

That kind of thing can make somebody quit the game for good. I know this because it's exactly what happened with me and Overwatch. Bastion, Roadhog, Symettra, and Torb all lost the things I found fun/satisfying about them in the first place, and now I don't find any of the remaining heroes fun so I just don't play the game anymore.

Yeah, feels bad when a champ you love gets deleted and replaced with an imposter that's skill floor gates you out of playing them, or they have a completely different playstyle, or both. REAL Galio will be missed. They can keep shiny generic superheroman.

There wasn't much to work with old Sion, to be honest. What happened was the best thing.

Unfortunately not many appreciate the fine work Riot did with his kit. They managed to preserve so many elements of a fundamentally broken and uninspired kit and reinvent and implement them in a radically different champion while maintaining cohesion and synergy. Sion's old ult is now his passive, he still has an exploding shield, still has scaling health; what was left out was merely his point and click stun.

Riot does not preserve kits like that anymore. It's too much effort. They rather delete the whole thing then rebuilt it on some basic tropes they identify the champion as.

Ironic given they nerfed Sej outta existance shortly after, but he kept the nerfs. Riot loves their players smh.

He was played as any tank counter basically. You always had to ban or pick him or you simply play with one champ less.

or you could pick more than one tank and when trundle ults peel him off and stall out the fight until the resist gone.

AurelionSol Gets blasted like a void breach when assassins or anyone with mobility comes around yet gets nerfs, RekSai Has basically no passive and nobody respects this girl. item 3073 Also why the hell can she only knock up one champion per W when yasou can get multiple per tornado and late-game spams them like hell. (paranoia royale was horrendous as well)
