Lore
Jal Hherr Strike Cruiser, edge of the solar system
A small group of tribal champions sat on one knee in front of the throne of their leader. Holographic planets whirled across the steel-plated room, a reproduction of the solar system outside, hidden from view by the darkness of a cloak field: named after the great cat who conquered Pontis Beta-3, the Jal Hharr prowled the stars in search of its prey.
"This," the white-furred Alpha spoke, pointing at one of the planets, "is where the Precon mothership disappeared. The planet is inhabited by an unknown intelligent species. I cast the auguries and the Drinker demands their subjugation!"
Few warriors lived to feel their bones grow bittle and their muscles weak, and Alpha Bhor-N-Hhall was one of them. Long grey manes hung in front of his eyes, adorned with the bones of the champions of two dozen species ritually slain in single combat. He had conquered many worlds, but Ravor the Drinker still screamed for more. He showed a video feed from the surface transmitted through a surviving Precon satellite, eliciting roars of disgust from the assembled champions. The indigenous hairless bipedals were clearly not fit to serve in the asteroid mines, but would make for a fine sacrifice for the Twin Gods.
"After this orbit, when Ravor and Hajarr engulf the suns, I will personally lead my horde against these lifeforms. I will now choose three lieutenants to accompany me on this holy campaign!" The Alpha looked around the throne room, observing the reactions of his champions. Truebred flesh and fur of the Twin Gods, each and every one of them, prepared to die for the honour of their tribe on the battlefield. But he didn't need reckless berserkers, he needed leaders. After this campaign, he would step down and choose one of them as heir to the throne.
"Jhasar! Son of Thrak, son of Kiru of the Scyrran wastes! You will lead the Scourge into battle and purge the unworthy from above!" Eager to spill blood, the young cat roared his approval: "Death or honour, Hhall!" "Zura! Warrior-child of the Bridge of Proxima IV! You will lead the Hunters and purge the surface of this world!" "By the claws of Ravor, Hhall!" "Khajor! You will lead the--" Ten pairs of eyes narrowed and turned towards Hhall's son. The runt was not even a warrior! He had yet to pass the Trial of Blood, to kill a worthy opponent in single combat. Until that time, he could never become an Alpha. Growls emerged from the audience. "I will not accept insubordination!", Hhall roared. "I have chosen!"
Shrine of Astetu, Shurima
"Be strong, be wise..." The hologram of a Shuriman goddess faded into silence. The horde had landed and overrun the Shuriman village where the last Precon signal originated, meeting no resistance to speak of. If this hologram found in a shaman's dying grasp was to be believed, the Precons had not only been defeated by one of their own, but the Runeterran lifeforms actually worshipped them as gods. According to the hologram, they didn't even fight their own wars anymore, they merely appointed champions to fight for them, assuming they hadn't managed to let even that custom fall into disrepair.
The crowd growled its disapproval with this turn of events. Did their leader believe they were not worthy of stronger foes? Alpha Hhall had survived many battles, which branded him as a coward in the eyes of some. Was he afraid to die in battle against a real enemy? Or was he trying to keep his runt of a son alive?
"Hhall!" Khajor, fur covered in human blood, emerged from the crowd and stood tall in front of the Alpha, sak'hram in hand. "You are old and decrepit, Hhall. You are unfit to lead the tribe. Draw your weapon, Hhall. Die a warrior!" The crowd formed a circle around them, cheering them on with brutal warcries. But the outcome of the duel was never in doubt: Khajor was young and healthy, while the birds of Ravor had been circling above Hhall for many cycles. It only took Khajor a few attacks to break Hhall's guard. The old Alpha lost his balance and fell, hitting his head on the pedestal of the shrine with a loud crack. Khajor smirked and looked down upon the dying Alpha.
"Khajor... I thank you, my champion," Hharr said with great effort. "To die of old age brings dishonour upon the tribe. Take my life, so that I may rejoin my ancestors in Ikathia! Complete the Trial of Blood and return to the Jal Hherr a warrior and heir to my throne!"
Zura and Jhasar drew their weapons, waiting for the moment when Khajor would kill Hhall and become a warrior. But Khajor did not strike at the defenseless Alpha. "I will not grant you an honourable death, Hhall. You are not worthy of my blade, or the Trial! A Cat is not truly Alpha unless he takes the throne by fire, tooth and claw!"
Khajor sheathed his sword and donned his steel-lined cloak. "I will not return to the Jal Hherr before I find and slay this world's greatest heroes. Complete the Trial. Become a warrior!" He cast a menacing glance at Jhasar and Zura. "And when I return, I will take the crown from whoever holds it, and anyone standing in my way will die a najjal, an outcast!"
As Hhall fell into the darkness, the last thing he heard was his son's mocking voice. "Bleed to death, najjal!"
Model
Khajor is a massive feline alien warrior with red manes and black fur covered in white warpaint, wearing heavy iron armor with red energy lines running through it and a carbonite cape. He wields a trident in one paw and a blade attached to a long chain in the other.
Recall animation A shuttle descends from above and a hard light ladder appears. Khajor slashes the ladder in half with his chain blade, then leaps up and hangs on to the shuttle as it takes off.
Skins
- Precon Khajor: a.k.a. Helleron, Shuriman god of fire and the forge and father of Astetu.
- Datascourge Khajor: Conquering the data grid of future Runeterra, destroying firewalls and antivirus entities.
Secret challenge
Roswell Khajor (Harrowing 2015) Stories abound of a vagabond who wears discarded furs and garbage bags to disguise himself as a monster and prowls quiet neighbourhoods carrying a large bag of candy on Harrowing Eve to abduct innocent children. Concerned parents claim he dismembers his victims and buries the body parts. Others believe there is no human soul in the costume and the mysterious apparition is a visitor from another world, collecting young humanoid specimens to dissect aboard his flying saucer. The bogeyman does seem to disappear when followed and terrified witnesses have spotted eerie blue lights in the sky near where he shows up...
What sort of candy would Khajor give out? Lollipops containing a microtransmitter to signal the location of a new specimen to the saucer overhead. Children with this candy tend to disappear.
Abilities
[Resource] Fury Khajor has a Fury bar that maxes at 100 and regenerates at a rate of 2.5 points per second. Auto attacking an enemy minion or small jungle monster adds 5 points, auto attacking an enemy champion or large jungle monster adds 10 points.
[Passive] Trial of Blood Khajor cannot spend skill points to learn his ultimate. When the game starts, he receives a quest to kill an enemy champion of level 6 or above. Upon completing this objective, Khajor gains the title of Warrior and access to his ultimate, which briefly replaces his three basic abilities with new abilities. He can spend a skill point into one of these abilities; the other two remain locked.
The quest then updates with a new objective to kill an enemy champion of level 12 and above. Upon completing this objective, Khajor gains the title of Warlord, his ultimate is upgraded to level 2 and he can spend a skill point to unlock a second ultimate ability. He then receives a third and final objective to kill an enemy champion of level 18 and above, granting him the title of Alpha, upgrading his ultimate to level 3 and allowing him to spend a skill point to unlock his third ultimate ability.
Assists do NOT count, you NAJJAL.
[Q] Claws of Ravor Passive When Khajor auto attacks an enemy unit, he gains a stack of Ravor's Chosen with each consecutive hit, cumulatively increasing his attack speed. Stacks are lost when Khajor switches to another target or stops attacking the target for a short time. At maximum stacks, Khajor is unaffected by crowd control from the target (only).
Active/Target enemy champion Must have at least one stack of Claws of Ravor Khajor impales a target on his sak'hram and lifts the target into the air, inflicting airborne status and dealing heavy damage while Khajor takes reduced damage from all sources. Duration depends on the number of Ravor's Chosen stacks. This is not a channelled ability and cannot be interrupted unless Khajor or his target are displaced, the target dies or Khajor receives a different order; even Khajor's death does not stop it.
- Ravor's Chosen: Attack speed per stack: 5/7/9/11/13%
- Ravor's Chosen: Max stacks: 5 (immune to crowd control from the target at 5 stacks)
- Active: Physical damage: 40/70/100/130/160 (+0.6 bonus AD) (+25% per Ravor's Chosen stack)
- Active: Duration: 0.6 seconds (+0.2 seconds per Ravor's Chosen stack)
- Active: Cooldown: 15 seconds
- Fury cost: 20
[W] Sector Cloak Directional arc Khajor chooses a direction and raises a directional cloak field, rendering him invisible to enemy units in the chosen direction, but enemies in any other direction can detect him. The invisibility is broken when Khajor attacks; if he is not detected by any enemy units at that point, he gains the Fangs of Hajarr buff, increasing his bonus attack damage and movement speed for a short time. The duration of this buff is extended each time Khajor auto attacks an enemy champion while it is up.
- Duration: up to 8 seconds
- Sector width: 60/90/120/150/180 degrees
- Fangs of Hajarr: Bonus AD increased by 20/30/40/50/60 plus 15%
- Fangs of Hajarr: Movement speed: +20/25/30/35/40%
- Fangs of Hajarr: Duration: 2.5 seconds (+0.5 seconds per auto attack vs champions, max +2.5 seconds)
- Cooldown: 18/17/16/15/14 seconds
- Fury cost: 25
[E] Talon's Reach Passive Whenever Khajor auto attacks an enemy unit, the target is marked with a red targetting dot for a short time. The mark has no effect, but enables the use of the active component. The mark is removed when Khajor auto attacks a different target.
Active/No target/Channelled Khajor throws his chain blade at the marked target, snaring it and all other enemy units between it and Khajor. Khajor then channels, gradually reeling in the blade and pulling all snared targets towards him. Khajor is vulnerable to interrupts while pulling. The snare ends when the pull ends or is interrupted, but each victim that is pulled all the way to Khajor is damaged and briefly stunned. The blade cannot miss.
- Passive: Duration: 2.25 seconds
- Active: Maximum range: 800
- Active: Pull speed: 800
- Active: On arrival: Physical damage: 60/100/140/180/220 (+1.2 bonus AD)
- Active: On arrival: Stun length: 0.6 seconds
- Active: Cooldown: 19/18/17/16/15 seconds
- Active: Fury cost: 50
[R] Uplink This ultimate is learned by completing the objectives of Trial of Blood. When activated, Khajor contacts the Jal Hherr Strike Cruiser, replacing his three basic abilities with new abilities involving the Jal Hherr. Lasts until he uses one of them, cancels the ultimate or the duration runs out. To provide counterplay, the shadow of the Jal Hherr descends on the map and the voice of its comms officer announces the chosen ability to all players on both teams.
- Level: 1 (Warrior), 2 (Warlord), 3 (Alpha)
- Duration: up to 3 sceonds
- Cooldown: 100/80/60 seconds
- Fury cost: 20
[R1] Fighter Wing Target enemy champion Khajor places a digital alien targetting marker on an enemy champion in melee range, marking the target as a target for a swarm of drone fighters that descend from the sky and circle the target, bombarding it with point blank laser bolts. The fighters can be damaged with auto attacks or abilities or destroyed with Smite.
- Cast range: 250
- Duration: 6 seconds
- Calls down 4 fighters
- Fighters: Orbit at a distance of 300 and approach to shoot 6 times over its duration
- Fighters: Attack range: 125
- Fighters: Hit points: 3 (AA = 1, AoE spell = 2, single target spell = 3, Smite = destroyed)
- Burst laser: Physical damage: 10/20/30 (+0.08 AD) per shot
[R2] Mark of the Drinker Target enemy champion The target is illuminated by a red laser painter from above and a hologram of the pterodactyl god Ravor the Drinker appears circling above the target, granting vision and providing Khajor with bonus damage and lifesteal to his attacks against the marked target. This ability is fairly weak, however if the target is slain while affected by it, it is considered a sacrifice to Ravor and the ability becomes much more effective against that enemy champion for the rest of the game, represented by a blue beam instead of a red one.
- Cast range: 800
- Duration: 3 seconds (5 seconds to sacrificed targets)
- Bonus damage: 20/30/40 (60/120/180 to sacrificed targets)
- Lifesteal: 20/25/30% (30/40/50% to sacrificed targets)
[R3] Translocation Ground/Channelled Khajor channels for a short time while a red translocation beam from the Jal Hherr locks on to his position and another beam marks the target location. When the channel finishes, Khajor is beamed up and rematerialises at the target location.
- Cast range: 1600
- Channel duration: 1.15 seconds

Strategy
In the jungle Khajor has no sustain but clears very fast due to Claws of Ravor and can even use Sector Cloak as an additional steroid, so farming should be no problem. And farming is crucial: he needs to buy sustain as quickly as possible and cannot gank effectively due to his lack of a ranged engage.
Counterplay: Khajor has enough DPS and the necessary counter-disengage to ruin anyone's day short of Master Yi in a 1v1, but lacks a gap closer without the element of surprise and Sector Cloak, making him highly kiteable. A tactical green ward in the river can reveal him long before he reaches the lane.
At level 6 No ultimate for him yet. When the enemies start hitting level 6, he should look for gank opportunities and score at least one kill to bring his first ultimate online. Because even a green ward reveals him when he walks past it and is no longer covered by his Sector Cloak, his preferred prey should be the enemy jungler instead. His choice of ultimate depends on the circumstances: Translocation bypasses wards, but Fighter Wing adds to his damage and Mark of the Drinker is chosen when an ultimate is not needed to secure kills so Khajor can start sacrificing champions faster and power it up sooner.
Counterplay: His obsession with a level 6 kill may distract him from the farming he should be doing at this point. Having no escapes other than the unreliable Sector Cloak, he can be ganked in his own jungle. Try to force him to reveal which ultimate he picked.
In teamfights At this point Khajor should have several core items and at least two ultimates. He cannot initiate but he should follow up on his team's initiation, get in close and eat the nearest squishy's face. Talon's Reach counters escapes slightly less than before because it does have a channel time and can be interrupted, but his dps is off the charts at this point due to Claws of Ravor and any of the two damaging ultimates.
Counterplay: Peel and stop the snowball. He can plow through a team much like Master Yi but is easier to peel because he has no slow immunity on top of no other defensive abilities aside from a restricted cc immunity from one enemy and no escapes other than the delayed Translocation.
