Dark Star Thresh's Lore?
I believe that the skin insinuates that the Void assimilates the Shadow Isles into their ranks. If so, then all of Valoran has a new enemy (even Lissandra or Xerath).

No, its simply thresh as basically a universe destroyer. In the teaser he shackles a planet. All of his quotes are about oblivion and death and stuff. So... ya
dark star thresh in a entire different entity almost like aurelion sol he is probably from a dimension or plane of oblivion or he is the end of all reality because even he says "the void are pretenders to the throne of annihilation" meaning they are insignificant to him and also remember there isn't just one god there are multiple in the league universe aurelion sol even mentions it in his quotes during game play " the depths of space crawl with terrible entities pray they ignore this world" referring to dark star thresh a "dark entity". {{summoner:2}}
The dark stars consumed the void and took their power. They are end game things for reality.
In real life a dark star is either a super dense or super immense (or both) star that does not emit visible light (unlike black holes which constantly spew the matter they recylce with their crushing gravity tend to be somewhat visible in the sense of all the energy being emited by stuff being pulled into and recycled by them, which often includes visible light). Neutron Stars and what was it...Cintrino stars? Forget the name but sounds something like that... Basically really crazy seeming phenomena of tremendous power not really visible to us, but they can do fun things like TOSS BLACKHOLES OUT OF GALAXIES/Nebuleas
So basically a Dark Star is a penultimate or ultimate Star of immeasurable power yet mostly indetectable, kind of like if there was a super giant space shark roaming around that was completely invisible to you , but is highly attracted to say, all the lights and noise coming from your planet.... They seem to 'consume' other things (creating the dust like field like after supernoave or collapse that forms stars and planets....and yet. Seemingly represented by the swirl around thresh's dark star lanturn).
The reality is they could be any size though, even as small as lanturn or some such, and we can't currently really detect them.
