Lori: The Young Inventor V1.0

This is the first version of a character concept I'm working on. I started this concept was the the abilities first so, everything else has been lightly touch on; the abilities might need some tweaking but, they're pretty much done for now. I'll be working on the lore, a nations, interactions and, whatnot later so, they'll be ready for V2.0. Anyway, please tell me what you think about this concept; I'd appreciate it!

WARNING: The abilities, especially the passive, are REALLY complex so, it might be confusing with all of the details and such. I Don't want ya to fry you brain now so, slowly take in all in!

ToC

1.) LORE (Rough) 2.) IN GAME APPEARANCE (Rough) **3.)**STATS, ABILITIES AND, WHATNOT

1.) LORE

Lori will be this quirky weird yordle girl that is obsessed with hextech and imventing. She’s always making wacky inventions that are strange but actually work...sometimes. She makes soo many inventions that she can’t even be bothered to name them correctly! She wishes to become the greatest inventor of all time which should be too hard to accomplish with her prodigious nature. She’s the disciple of heimerdinger and besties with jinx.

2.) IN GAME APPEARANCE

She is a yordle with light teal very short body fur, long furry teal ears, teal quad pigtails and, big grey eyes (but wears goggles though). Her clothing is rather strange and, she has a bunch of her favorite inventions in her satchel.

Her most favorite invention is her very first invention that she made when she was an infant; it’s a simple yet high quality hextech blaster she named “Pew Pew” which is the noise it makes and, it’s also the very first words she said.

3.) STATS, ABILITIES AND, WHATNOT

Attack: 4 Defense:3 Ability: 8 Difficulty:10

Role: Support/markman

Health:462.67 (+50 per level) Mana: 448.24 (+30 per level) Base Attack: 33.45 (+3 per Level Attack speed: N/A Health regen: 6.271(0.9 per level) Armor: 18.38 (+ 4.19 per level) Magic resist: 25.17 (+0.2 per level) Movement speed; 350

NOTES Lori’s difficulty is a 10 because, at a certain point, her learning curve becomes so steep that it might as well be a wall; even challengers would find it very difficult to master her but, if someone were to somehow master her (aka constantly pulling greens; read passive to know what I’m talking about) then, oh boy, she’d be an absolute nightmare. She’s a support first because it’d be easier to play her as such however, she could also be played as a marksman/ADC but, only the biggest of boys (and girls) would be able to do so (without being an all you can eat buffet that is).

Abilities

Passive: “My Beloved Pew Pew”

Pew Pew, her very first invention, is the embodiment of who she is as an inventor and, it shows based on how it functions. When players click and hold the mouse button on enemies, a charging bar pops up with an indication bar that begins on the left quickly goes right until you either let go of the mouse button before it reaches the end or it reaches the end of the bar both ways closes the bar. This charging bar has 4 colors on it: grey, green, blue and, purple. Landing on purple unleashes all 6 rounds and is the easiest to land on as it does the normal amount of damage/heals which is weak (players would land on purple just by right clicking and not holding); it’s located on the far left of the bar. Landing on blue releases 3 larger and stronger rounds that do 50% more damage/heals, it's the color after purple and it has the second largest spot on the bar; experienced Lori players would be able to land on blue a good amount of times. Green is the color after blue, it has the least amount of space on the bar and, it releases 1 huge and powerful round if players land on it; this is the easiest spot to land on; it does 100% more damage/heals than purple. Grey is the last color on The bar and, it has the remaining amount of space on the right side of the bar; players who land on grey or fail to execute a base attack will make Pew Pew go on the fritz making Lori reload for 3 seconds. Lori reloads after expending all rounds for 3 seconds.

Q: “Kaboom Thingys” Mana Cost: 80/105/130/155/180 Cooldown: 14 seconds Distance: 800

Lori pulls out one of her accidental explosive inventions then hurls it at an aimed area where it’ll explode when it hits the ground. It’ll deal 65/85/105/125/145 (+35% AP) to enemies that get hit by the explosion. The explosive will be thrown where the mouse pointer is however, If players hold Q, they’ll be able to aim better with an indication on where it’ll land but, holding Q charges up the explosive; bring up a charge bar. The charge bar has 4 colors; beginning on the left is purple which is the easiest to land on, blue is second and is a bit harder to land on, green is the third and is the hardest to land on and on the right is grey. Landing on blue increases the explosion range and increasing the damage by 25%. Landing on Purple further increases the explosion range and increases the damage by 50%. Landing on grey or failing to throw the explosive will cause it to explode in Lori’s hand damaging 25% of her health. If the explosive perfectly lands on an enemy, it slow that enemy by 35%.

W: “Healing Pew Pews” Mana Cost: 10%/15%/20%/25%/30% total mana each each auto attack on allies Cooldown: 3 seconds (toggle) Distance: same as base

Lori activates the healing module In her trusty blaster; letting her shoot allies with rounds that heal for 50/80/110/140/170 (+20% AP). The basic attack mechanic works with W. Landing of purple does normal heals (weak), landing on blue does 50% more heals and, purple does 100% more heals; landing on grey or, not executing basic attack makes Pew Pew fritz making Lori reload.

E: “Bob” Mana Cost: 40/50/60/70/80 Cooldown: 6 seconds Distance: 1000

Lori pulls out one of her oddly vicious little robots all named Bob that she kept to eventually fix then then throws it at the targeted direction (trick shot); the robot goes kaput if it doesn’t land. If the trick shot lands, Bob will go berserk on the enemy champion dealing 15/20/25/30/35 damage (+35 AP) every 0.5 seconds and silencing at the same time for 2/2.25/2.5/2.75/3 seconds.

R: “ARSENAL STORM”

Mana Cost: 200/250/300 Cooldown: 120 seconds Distance: 1000

Lori throws everything that she has in her satchel at a targeted area all at once creating a dangerous flurry of inventions going off for 5 seconds. Enemies that are in the storm are slowed by 20%/25%30%, take 50/75/100 (+20% AP) magic damage per second, weakens enemies armor by (20%/25%/30% and, weakens magic resistance by 15%/20%/25%

I'm just going to simplify your text, cause it would be easier for me to read XD

Beloved Pew Pew (Passive): Lori's basic attacks require a charge before firing, a four color bar is indicated to show the charging status:

  1. Purple: Landing on purple unleashes all 6 rounds and is the easiest to land on as it does the normal amount of damage/heals which is weak. Landing on Purple further increases the explosion range and increases the damage by 50% (players would land on purple just by right clicking and not holding);

  2. Blue: blue is second and is a bit harder to land on, Landing on blue increases the explosion range and increasing the damage by 25%

  3. Green: green is the third and is the hardest to land on, Green is the color after blue, it has the least amount of space on the bar and, it releases 1 huge and powerful round if players land on it; this is the easiest spot to land on; it does 100% more damage/heals than purple.

  4. Grey: Grey is the last color on The bar and, it has the remaining amount of space on the right side of the bar; players who land on grey or fail to execute a base attack will make Pew Pew go on the fritz making Lori reload for 3 seconds.
