The slightly fiery effects would not be out of place in a Blood Moon skin. No real reason to classify it differently.
Ask yourself this Riot: Would you make a Shadowfire skin for a character that has a Blood Moon skin?
LyeanRedeemed7 votesLet's start saying why this is not a blood moon skin.
(Sorry if this looks rude, lel)
Centuros6 votesNo, but they also probably wouldn't mix Mecha, PROJECT, and Battlecast skins on the same champ either. Besides, the Lamb in that image makes me think of Justicar or Arclight more than Blood Moon, and Wolf doesn't look like a Blood Moon entity at all.
Celio Hogane HD1 votesBut, Battlecast Aatrox...
disregardable2 votesNone of the Blood Moon skins have anything to do with fire, in fact the fire effects would look out of place on the champions with blood moon skins.
Desiderium1 votesGoing off of your logic, the problem is not the fire, it is instead the combination of red and white and the masks that makes it too reminiscent of Blood Moon.
Celio Hogane HD1 votesTo be honest it looks more like Archlight than blood moon.
In fact it probably was an asrchlight skin at the start.
Icestar11861 votesOriginally named Vindicator Kindred (See Brofresco's video).
Celio Hogane HD2 votesBecause that doesn't look blood moon at all? It looks freaking Darksiders not Asian theme.
Meep Man2 votesThe masks worn aren't Oni masks. Therefore not Blood Moon.
CursedByLight1 votesThis has more of an angel and demon feel to it. Blood moon is a specific ninja-ish line. Definitely doesn't look like that.
Shénzhì1 votesWould rather it be Blood Moon.
Omijingu1 votesI'm still wondering why Riot didnt give
a Blood Moon skin...i mean she is kind of THE moon it would only be logicall for her to have one!!!!
