Future Blood Moon Skins Suggestions/Ideas

One of my favorite LoL Skin Themes, and quite a popular one, too. The majority of Champions involved with having one are very well sorted, in my opinion.

So which (3?) Champions - after having 's 's and 's - would best make the next line/set???

Well, I never expect MY suggestions to fall through, but If I were to prompt them… :

1st - I think would be ideal. He tracks your scent (or blood). And also, like , he could have a 'moon' connection because he's a lycanthrope.

2nd - Although he recently had a new skin, I believe would wear it pretty well. And because the Blood Moon line could use some other beefy Champions, so, the Undertaker in my opinion would be fairly ideal.

3rd - It took a little thought… and given he's had only some slight texture updates and no new skins for some time… I feel that a Blood Moon skin should absolutely go to … ! He's definitely sinister enough to fit the theme, I'd say. Plus, I'd anticipate a Blood Moon design would look spectacular on him and probably wouldn't be hard to do, either!

And those are my 3 suggestions. I've had some friends tell me they'd also like perhaps, [The Darkin do seem suited for it, certainly]. Or even … because they also hunt you down & there's a wolf involved, like with .

Bloodmoon as a skin line is heavily inspired by Japanese ghost stories and demons, therefore I think champions playing in these thematics are the best picks. My favourite picks for the next line of Bloodmoon are:

Camille Bloodmoon Camille

She is inspired by the myth of the kuchisake-onna. Her mask has a slit-open mouth, her blade legs are each one half of a scissor. Her E can be kunai on chains, her passive gets represented with swirling blood (AD shield) or ghosts (AP shield).

In the Bloodmoon cult, she would most likely be a priestress.

Trundle Bloodmoon Trundle

Based on an Oni. Fits the idea perfectly in my opinion, his club could be a tetsubo. His E is a Japanese pagoda. In the Bloodmoon cult, he falls in the demon category.

Orianna Bloodmoon Orianna

In Japan, there is the belief that objects become yokai if they turn 100 years old. Orianna could be such a yokai, she is an ancient Japanese doll which turned into a demon. Her ball could be a blood orb, representing the Bloodmoon itself.

In the Bloodmoon cult, she counts as a demon.

Very impressive. Especially Trundle , imo. Haven't seen a new skin on him in quite some time, either. Which is mainly what I'd root for. There are a lot of good choices, but most of all I'd appreciate the skins to go to Champions that haven't seen any skin attention in ages (or at least in a long enough time compared to others).

Camille & Orianna are interesting but have some other cool skins already & from not too long ago.

And this is just me but, I wouldn't consider them because of whatever 'lore' might say about any one Champion. (You refer to a BM cult constantly). Seems like something strictly fan-based. LoL lore is relatively non-existent now, far as I'm aware. If Riot went off of things like what are possibly Yokai or whatever stuff mainly, then we'd likely see Champions such as Ahri with a BM skin next, when she already has lots of skins.

Your choices are really good, no mistake there. I have a friend who plays Camille a lot & would probably love a BM skin for her. But I wanna see some more... flexibility with skin themes, since this is a game. That's why I like Pyke with a BM skin, for example. He's a pirate & typically has nothing to do with any BM backgrounds, yet he still seems to make one work. I hope for some more of that stuff, so long as it's sensible & for Champions with older/fewer skins.

Also, just wanted to add because I forgot - in the Skins Collection area, I hope Riot adds Blood Knight Hecarim to the Blood Moon category/roster, as I feel it belongs there :P

Another BM Skin that I recently thought of, which I believe would fit the theme well (and considering he hasn't had a new skin in some time, either) is...

Azir !

I can imagine his summoned soldiers being inky-bloody-murky shogun-like warriors. Plus, the main thing I'd love to see from his kit is the sinister-looking Tower he builds, having a deep crimson orb of ink-blood, along with the Blood Moon symbol's Crescents shaped around it & rotating 180 degrees when it fires etc. His ult... I'm not quite sure how much better it would appear, though; as it's just a wall of his soldiers. Maybe it could have a bit of extra flare involving ink blotches when they are summoned & when enemy units/champs get bumped by it or something.
